Patent number: 9051167Abstract: The present invention relates to a refillable keg assembly for use in dispensing beverages, in particular beer. The keg assembly comprises an outer shell, and a collapsible container for holding the beverage, positionable within the outer shell. A sealed cavity is defined between the outer shell and the collapsible container. A beverage outlet from the collapsible container enables beer to be dispensed from the keg assembly, and a gas valve allows gas to enter the cavity. The pressure in the container is maintained above atmospheric pressure, and when dispensing the beverage, pressure in the cavity collapses the collapsible container and forces the beverage out through the beverage outlet. A gas compressor is connected to the gas valve, and is activated by a pressure switch to maintain the pressure within the cavity. To refill the keg assembly, the collapsible container can be replaced, and a new collapsible container filled while within the outer shell.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2010Date of Patent: June 9, 2015Assignee: COOPERS BREWERY LIMITEDInventors: Paul Andrew Burge, Allan K. Patent number: 9038863Abstract: The present invention relates to a nozzle structure of a dispenser pump button. According to the present invention, the nozzle structure of the dispenser pump button is designed in such a way that an outer nozzle with a discharge hole forwardly moves by the pressure of the content, and the content is discharged through the discharge hole distanced from an inner nozzle, thereby preventing the deformation of the nozzle. Therefore, the inflow of air into a cosmetic container is blocked, and thus the deterioration of the content can be prevented.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2012Date of Patent: May 26, 2015Assignee: YONWOO CO. Patent number: 9010575Abstract: The present invention relates to improvements in the dispensing of foodstuffs from piping bags. The use of piping bags to dispense decorative materials, such as icing, on to surfaces is well known and has been in use for many years. When used in conjunction with a nozzle, such piping bags allow for the dispensing of decorative materials to create messages or patterns. The nozzle can have a variety different shapes and sizes which allow for the ribbon of decorative material to have the desired appearance when expelled from the bag. Existing piping bags are limited in that they typically only have a single compartment in which the decorative material can be placed. The present invention seeks to provide a piping bag and nozzle assembly which allows for the simultaneous and controllable dispensing of two or more decorative materials on to surfaces to create messages or patterns.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Cappel Norrow LimitedInventor: Hugh Read

Patent number: 8985397Abstract: A system for spraying, according to various aspects of the present invention, includes a shuttle and a trigger switch. The shuttle and the trigger switch cooperate with discontinuous mechanical coupling. The trigger switch provides a discontinuity in bias against operation of the trigger switch by the user. Consequently, the user experiences tactile feedback before spray is released. Prior to tactile feedback, the system establishes a communication link. When spray is released, the system transmits a notice via the communication link. Such a system when equipped with pepper spray aerosol is advantageous for self-defense.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2013Date of Patent: March 24, 2015Assignee: Guardian 8 CorporationInventor: Charles Scott Lord
