Abstract: A portable electric powered or pneumatic powered paint system designed to worn in a typical workman's tool belt and thus accompany the painter as he moves from wall to wall and room to room without the restriction of electrical cords plugged into wall outlets or air hoses connected to an air compressor. The electrically powered embodiment of the invention consists of a paint reservoir, an electric paint pump, a power pack of two or more 18 Volt batteries, a paint applicator and associated paint supply tubing for transfer of paint from the reservoir to the paint applicator. The pneumatic embodiment of the invention replaces the electric paint pump and battery power pack with a pressurized air bottle and pressure regulator. Both embodiments of the invention provide the painter with a self-contained powered painting system.

Abstract: A dispensing vial includes three component parts, a container for an oral care formulation, an applicator tip, and a cap removably overlying the tip. The cap includes a 4-way locking system. The applicator tip has concentric rows of upwardly extending projections with the outer peripheral row of projections or nibs being longer and higher than the inner peripheral row. The projections facilitate maximum flexibility when used in the oral cavity. Preferably, the applicator projections are made of polyethylene or polypropylene with a Shore A hardness in the range of 35-75. Preferably, the oral care formulation is maintained at a viscosity in the range of 14000-21000 CP. This combination facilitates the formulation easily dispensing from the container, spreading over the applicator projections, and being applied within the oral cavity of the user.

Abstract: A multifunctional bottle washing brush includes a sponge, a plurality of bristles, a handle, an extension stem, an ultraviolet (UV) sterilizer light, and actuatable soap-dispensing mechanism, and a motor. The sponge, the plurality of bristles, the extension stem, and the UV sterilizer light complete an interchangeable brush that removably and terminally mounted to the handle through a rotor of the motor. The actuatable soap-dispensing mechanism that is integrated into the handle is in fluid communication with the sponge to supply a flow of soap while the interchangeable brush is rotatably operated through the motor via a power switch. Resultantly, the multifunctional bottle washing brush is able to efficiently clean dishes while the UV sterilizer light disinfects the sponge and the plurality of bristles.

Abstract: An applicator for a stick product, such as lip balm, has a generally tubular housing closed at one end by an elastomeric base cap and at the other by an end cap. The base cap is connected to one end of a plunger shaft, and at the other end the shaft is connected to a tray holding a semi-solid mass of the stick product. The end cap is in the form of a mold so that the stick product may be molded onto the tray in situ. The end cap locks to the housing to cover the semi-solid mass, and when removed the base cap (e. g. durometer 70A), which is bistable, having two relaxed configurations, may be depressed to move the mass out of the housing. The plunger and stick product are easily replaced.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a cosmetic package which includes an application member that can be adjusted as per user's convenience for application of a cosmetic or a care product. The cosmetic package includes a dialer which assumes a locked configuration when an applicator is retained on a container and an unlocked configuration when the applicator is disengaged from the container. In the locked configuration, the dialer cannot be actuated to transform profile of an application member of the applicator. In an oil-based ball-point pen, the refill is disposed in a barrel cylinder. An oil-based ball-point pen ink composition including a specific salt-forming dye, polyvinyl butyral resin, and an aromatic alcohol can be utilized in the refill.
