Abstract: A method for providing financial alerts includes retrieving financial transaction data for the plurality of financial instruments. The financial transaction data includes at least open price, close price, high price, low price, time and volume of individual financial transactions. Time periods for generating user requested information are identified. Price charts for the time periods are generated based on the retrieved financial transaction data. The generated price charts include one or more technical indicators. A financial alert configuration received from a user is analyzed. The financial alert configuration includes a trigger condition. The generated price charts are automatically analyzed to calculate the relative position of the technical indicator conditions that the user has selected in order to determine if one or more of the trigger conditions has been met. An alert notification is generated, in response to determining that the one or more trigger conditions has been met.

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for identifying fraudulent payment transfers. In some examples, a computing device determines payment transfer initiation features, and payment transfer reception features, based on previous payment transfer data. The computing device may train a machine learning fraud detection model with the payment transfer initiation features, and may train a machine learning fraud detection model with the payment transfer reception features. Once trained, the computing device may employ the machine learning fraud detection models to identify fraudulent payment transfers. For example, the computing device may determine whether a payment transfer is fraudulent when the payment transfer is initiated. Assuming the payment transfer is allowed, the computing device may determine whether the payment transfer is fraudulent when the payment is being received.

The method receiving a request for endpoint data, and, in response to receiving the request, determining whether one or more directories, among a plurality of directories, can provide the endpoint data requested in the request. The method also includes identifying at least one directory, among the directories determined to be able to provide the endpoint data requested in the request, as a selection for providing the endpoint data, and obtaining the endpoint data from the at least one directory identified in the identifying. In one example embodiment, the endpoint data includes an account number of a payee account and a routing number of a payee entity. A payment message or a request for payment message can be routed using the obtained endpoint data.

The server device solves a system of equations to determine a feasible solution. The server device determines the feasible solution. Based on the determining the feasible solution, determining, by the server device, whether a current solution satisfies a convergence criterion. In response to determining the current solution satisfies the convergence criterion, the current solution is stored in the tangible memory by the server device. In response to determining the current solution does not satisfy the convergence criterion, the server device updates one or more of the input settings and solving the system of equations.

Abstract: A shared ledger operated by a group of network participants according to a set of consensus rules manages and resolves subrogation claims between a clamant and a defendant with arbitration. Evidence regarding the value of the subrogation claim is sent to the shared ledger by the parties to the subrogation claim, such as sending data to a smart contract deployed on the shared ledger. The parties to the claim may request arbitration, especially after attempts to settle the claim on-chain between the two parties have failed. An arbitrator may request evidence from the parties and/or request responses from the parties to accept damages calculations and/or settlement offers. Once the claim is resolved, the arbitrator may release funds on the chain to the prevailing party or may accept confirmation that any payments have been made between the parties off-chain.

In some implementations, a mobile computing device receives a payment request identifying a sales transaction between a merchant and a customer. The mobile computing device activates a card reader based at least in part on the set of instructions, receives customer authorization for electronic payment of the purchase amount, instructs the card reader to process a credit card for the purchase amount based on receiving the customer authorization, and receives confirmation of payment of the purchase amount from the card reader.

Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for enhancing security of transaction requests from POS terminals by utilizing ANI-DNIS information. The header of the transaction request can include automatic source information (“ASI”), which can be extracted from the header by the line handler. The ASI information can be provided to the front end interface, which can compare the ASI information with known customer information. The comparison can provide information indicating whether the transaction is legitimate or fraudulent. If fraudulent, the transaction request can be declined. The ASI information can further be stored in a security analysis database and further queried to identify larger threats including denial of service attacks.

Abstract: System, apparatus, user equipment, and associated computer program and computing methods are provided for facilitating efficient decision-making with respect to a subject entity. In one aspect, a labeled training dataset containing N records respectively corresponding to N entities is provided for training a decision engine based on performing supervised learning. Responsive to receiving a plurality of attribute values for the subject entity requiring a decision relative to an estimate of a performance variable based on at least a portion of the attribute values, the trained decision engine is configured to determine a decision score as a function obtained as a set of linearly decomposed constituent components corresponding to the attribute values of the subject entity, thereby effectuating an objective determination of which attributes contribute to what portions of the decision score in a computationally efficient manner.

An exemplary embodiment may include receiving historical sensor data, such as image, audio, telematics, and/or autonomous vehicle data, associated with a past vehicle collision; inputting the historical sensor data into a machine learning program to determine data relevant to a past vehicle collision; receiving current sensor data associated with a current vehicle collision; inputting the current sensor data into the machine learning program to determine data relevant to the current vehicle collision; and determining a percentage of fault of the vehicle collision for one or more autonomous vehicles, autonomous vehicle systems, and/or drivers based upon, at least in part, analysis of the historical sensor data and the current sensor data.

Abstract: A share allocation (SA) computing device includes a processor in communication with a database. The processor is configured to execute a computational model including a plurality of model layers. The plurality of model layers includes a fractional node layer configured to assign each candidate investor of a plurality of candidate investors to a corresponding node. Each node is associated with a weight, and the nodes define an interconnected neural network. The fractional node layer is also configured to apply a machine learning algorithm configured to adjust the weights of the nodes in response to respective fitness values input to the nodes, and convert the adjusted weight for each node into a corresponding fraction. The fractional node layer is further configured to allocate, to each candidate investor, a respective fractional share of an offering, the fractional share corresponding to the fraction associated with the corresponding node.
