Abstract: A pill dispensing device having a carrier member. Open-sided compartments are formed in the carrier member, arranged in rows and columns. A breakable seal is located on the carrier member to close the open sides of each compartment to locate pills within the compartments. Time indicia are marked on the carrier member and aligned with the rows and columns of the compartments. A tray cooperates with the carrier member to locate the carrier member and the breakable seal. There is an outlet in the tray. Pills in the carrier member compartments may be forced through the seal of a compartment in a sequence indicated by the time indicia on the carrier member, into the tray amd removed from the tray through the outlet.

Abstract: A container device for transporting and storing coils of wire which protect the coils from damage. The device comprises a circumferential shell having a recessed annular bottom element inwardly adjacent the upper edge of the shell to form an open-topped annular receptacle in the upper side of the device. The inner edge of the bottom element extends upwardly to provide a hollow central post concentric with the outer shell. The underside of the device is formed with a closure wall coextensive in width with the recessed bottom element and is adapted to form a closure for the open-topped receptacle of the subjacent container device when the devices are stacked one upon another. Sockets for a forklift truck are provided in the circumference of the shell to enable the forklift truck to manipulate the devices into and out of position in the stack.

Abstract: A lid construction adapted to be utilized on bowls and the like includes a lid member having top and bottom surfaces, a first set of indicia disposed upon the top surface of the lid member, a rod member extending through and upwardly from a center portion of the lid member, and at least two rotatable discs including a first rotatable disc mounted on the lid member and rotatable relative thereto about the rod member, the first rotatable disc including a cut-out portion extending therethrough defining a window and a second set of indicia disposed thereupon, and a second rotatable disc mounted on top of the first rotatable disc and rotatable relative thereto about the rod member, the second rotatable disc including a cut-out portion extending therethrough defining a window.

Abstract: A garment bag adapted to fold into a suitcase-like configuration for traveling includes corner compartments located within the interior bag in the space above the shoulders of garments supported on hangers within the bag. Cross straps extend over the shoulders of garments supported on hangers in the bag, and criss-cross over the upper portion of the garment. The cross straps support the upper portion of the garments on the hangers and restrain them against sliding downward when the bag is in the folded configuration. A stay bar is removably connected across the middle portion of the bag to support the garments when the bag is folded into the suitcase-like configuration. The ends of the straps are connected to the stay bar. A lower portion of an interior panel of the garment bag includes means for supporting the lower portions of long garments in a U-shaped configuration above a bottom gussett of the bag instead of occupying the bottom of the bag in a wrinkled bunch.

Abstract: The invention is designed to use with lottery tickets. It includes a container to hold at least ten lottery tickets. The container houses a scraper designed to remove the coating from the tickets, a protective lip which covers the "void if removed" section of the ticket, and a slot to allow for easy disposal of the residue coating through the bottom of the container.

Abstract: A package for glassware and the like formed from a single blank of sheet material having folding lines and cuts therein. The package is convertible from a closed protective rectangular box to a display package having reduced width side walls and being substantially open at its side opposite its back wall except for a narrow article retaining wall portion. At its end wall remote from the retaining wall portion, the package has a retention tab projecting into the open mouth of an article within the package to retain the article therein. A foldable wall portion contained in the blank collapses onto the back wall and side walls of the display package and is erectable to create a full flat wall on the protective rectangular box opposite and parallel to the back wall.

Abstract: Multi-layer sterilization package and process for sterilizing equipment wherein items are placed in the multi-layer sterilization package which is adapted for use with a snorkel-type gas treatment apparatus; substantially all gas is withdrawn from the interior of the package; sterilization gas is injected into the interior and retained for a time sufficient to sterilize the equipment; sterilization gas is withdrawn from the package; and a cushioning gas is introduced into the package. The package is sealed to retain the cushioning gas, providing for effective gas leak detection.

Abstract: A plastic utility cup is provided with a magnet on the rear wall and a hook is selectively connected to the rear wall and depends from the bottom of the cup forwardly to the forward wall, whereby with the cup magnetically held to a refrigerator door, items may be hung from the hook, while other items may be held in the cup, and papers held between the magnet and the door. A cover may be provided with the cup, which cover may be slotted for coins and the like.

Abstract: A traveler carrier for refilling a traveler magazine of a traveler insertion device with travelers, includes a clip formed of springy flexible material holding the travelers together in a row by spring action from outside the travelers, the clip having an open longitudinal slot formed therein.

Abstract: In the fabrication process of the integrated circuit manufacturing there used to be an inconvenience in handling the many of the cassette of the wafers. By using the color coded cassette of the present invention the personnel can distinguish and identify the correct status of the wafers in the cassette in the fabrication process. The personnel can sort and transport the wafers in the cassette depending on the status of the process shown in the color code. The color coding cassette of the present invention employs several colors for coding on the side of the cassette. The change and display of the proper color code are operated by the handy knobs attached to each color coding piece. The colors are differently painted from every other color to distinguish itself from every other code. They are green, white, yellow and red, for example. This color coding technology can be embodied by injection moulding of the plastic. It cost less expenditure.

Abstract: A bias tape supply device comprises a circular housing part made of synthetic resin for housing a bias tape and a guide part made of synthetic resin for delivering the bias tape from the housing part.The housing part includes a top circular wall, a bottom circular wall, a cylindrical circumferential wall, and a magnet fixed outside the bottom circular wall.The side walls gradually decrease in height from the base end of the guide part to the tip thereof.The first side wall located adjoining the housing part is adapted at the tip thereof to be lower in height than the second side wall and is substantially triangle-shaped in a section thereof at the tip thereof.Two projections are provided on the tip of the second wall, and a slit is notched in the second side wall located between the two projections.The bottom circular wall of the housing part and the lower wall of the guide part are kept horizontal and formed integrally with each other.

A holder member reciprocates in unison with the movement of an openable cover member to hold the memory cassette thereon. Drive means is provided for driving the holder member in a reciprocal movement. The holder member includes means for locating the memory cassette. A protector is provided for protecting electric terminals of a memory cassette. The protector includes a casing and a fixing device for fixing the terminals of the memory cassette in position.

Abstract: A storage unit is provided for containing compact discs in a vertical orientation and allowing the user to easily load and unload the discs. The unit includes a housing with an open front, laterally spaced dividers which hold the discs in place, and adjustable members which facilitate loading and unloading of the discs. The storage unit is portable, and it includes a handle with which the user may carry the unit.

Abstract: A mask display package includes inner and outer shell members for protecting the face covering portion of the mask and maintaining that portion sanitary. An outer frame member holds the shell members and mask together. The frame member includes front and back panels connected by a fold line and providing a reinforced header. An access opening is provided in the back panel to allow inspection of the back of the head portion of the mask. Additionally, a neck portion of the mask is extended through a passage along a bottom portion of the frame to the outside of the package for inspection. A serrated edge forming a portion of the access opening serves to retain the neck portion in the tucked position.

Abstract: A tamper-resistant package for articles such as pharmaceuticals and medicine which are themselves first enclosed within a first closed and sealed container. The first container is then enclosed within a second container, there being a void between the two containers. The second container includes a lid which is secured over its opening. Positioned between the lid and the opening of the second container is a permanently adhered thin sheet of elastic material or membrane which is impermeable to gas or liquid. This membrane is permanently adhered to the opening of the second container after the sealed first container and a portion of solid chemical material possessing the physical property of sublimation is placed into the void.
