  • Patent number: 10242702
Abstract: A recording head has a near-field transducer overlapping a core near a media-facing surface of the recording head. The near-field transducer has an enlarged portion formed of a plasmonic material and a peg extending from the enlarged portion. The enlarged portion includes a stacked feature that reduces the emission of a polarization rotated portion of light to a recording medium.

  • Patent number: 10234986
Abstract: A touch control display panel and a touch control display apparatus are provided. The touch control display panel comprises a first substrate having a display region and a non-display region surrounding the display region, wherein the non-display region includes a plurality of sub-non-display regions, and a plurality of first pressure-sensing bridges and at least one second pressure-sensing bridge, wherein a first pressure-sensing bridge and the at least one second pressure-sensing bridge are disposed in two opposing sub-non-display regions. The first pressure-sensing bridge and the at least one second pressure-sensing bridge each includes a first strain direction and a second strain direction. The first strain direction and the second strain direction of the first pressure-sensing bridge form a first pre-determined angle ? and a second pre-determined angle ? with respect to a first border of the non-display region, respectively.

  • Patent number: 10234993
Abstract: A touch system includes a circuit board, touch pads, a control chip and an insulation board. The circuit board has a conductive board body including configuration regions. The touch pads is spaced from the configuration regions by the conductive board body. Each touch pad includes at least one touch portion. The control chip includes a multiplex module coupling the touch pads and an oscillation control module coupling the conductive board body. The oscillation control module conducts alternately the multiplex module and every touch portions to utilize a work voltage for generating a voltage oscillation wave respective to each conducted touch portion. The voltage oscillation wave is transmitted to the conductive board body. When an ion-contained liquid is on the insulation board by covering partly the conductive board body and the touch portion, a capacitance effect therebetween is forming by the work voltage, but further erased by the voltage oscillation wave.

  • Patent number: 10228798
Abstract: A detection method of touch system for avoiding inadvertent touch is disclosed. The steps of the detection method includes: obtaining a plurality of first detection signals; determining whether a difference of strength between the first detection signals is less than a default difference; calculating a first centroid on the first detection signals, which if the difference of strength between the first detection signals is less than the default difference; setting a first rejection area extrapolated from the first centroid; obtaining a plurality of second detection signals for determining whether to update the first rejection area; calculating a second centroid on the second detection signals; calculating a rate of the first centroid to the second centroid; and, proceeding an update for replacing the first rejection area with a second rejection area extrapolated from the second centroid, if the rate is greater than a default value.

  • Patent number: 10224063
Abstract: A method for writing data onto a medium on which data are stored in tracks includes encoding the data into at least one codeword, and writing a respective portion of each of the at least one codeword onto respective different tracks on the medium. The writing may include writing a respective portion of each of the at least one codeword onto respective different adjacent tracks on the medium. Another method for reading data includes positioning a plurality of read heads to read codewords that have been written across multiple tracks of a medium. Each read head in the plurality of read heads reads a different portion of the first group of the multiple tracks, and where each different portion of the multiple tracks overlaps at least one other different portion of the multiple tracks. Signals are detected from the plurality of read beads, and the detected signals are decoded.
