Abstract: Techniques for auto-generation of annotated real-world training data are described. An electronic document is analyzed to determine text represented in the document and corresponding locations of the text. A representation of the electronic document is modified to include markers and printed. The printed document is photographed in real-world environments, and the markers within the digital photographs are analyzed to allow for the depiction of the document within the photographs to be rectified. The text and location data are used to annotate the rectified images.

Abstract: A request for a webpage is received at a server associated with a website and from a terminal device, where the webpage includes an image, and where the server stores a first set of HyperText Markup Language (HTML) code that is associated with the webpage. The image is divided into a plurality of sub-images. A second set of HTML code associated with the webpage is determined, where the second set of HTML code includes code corresponding to each sub-image. The second set of HTML code is transmitted to the terminal device for sequential display of each sub-image on the terminal device.

Abstract: A character input device according to one or more embodiments may include a controller including a suggestion controller and a display controller, and a database. The database stores a normal predictive conversion suggestion, a group including a plurality of group conversion suggestions each having a common element, and a symbol representing an attribute that classifies the plurality of group conversion suggestions by a characteristic different from the common element in the group. The suggestion controller may detect a reading of an input character and detects, in response to the reading of the input character at least partially matching a name of the group, the symbol representing the attribute of the group. The display controller may display the normal predictive conversion suggestion and the symbol.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for optimizing rendering performance of a web page containing one or more advertisements. Creative code related to an advertisement is received and a web page containing the creative code is virtually rendered while performance metrics regarding a plurality of connections to servers made during the rendering is collected. The collected performance metrics regarding the plurality of connections are analyzed to identify optimizations to be added to the creative code, and the creative code is modified by applying the identified optimizations.

In a method, at a device with one or more processors and memory, prior to displaying a first application, a user input is received, the user input, when received initiating display of the first application. In response to receiving the user input, the first application is displayed. It determined whether a predetermined criteria is met. In accordance with a determination that the predetermined criteria is met, a predetermined first view of the application is displayed. In accordance with a determination that the predetermined criteria is not met, a second view of the application is displayed that is different than the predetermined first view of the application.

Abstract: An electronic data interchange (EDI) management system may comprise a memory for storing EDI document data and a machine learning prediction model representing element information of EDI documents of a first type and a corresponding status. A processor can be configured to extract elements from an EDI document, create a document record for the EDI document, the document record comprising elements extracted from the EDI document; determine a first status for the EDI document of the first type by processing the extracted elements using a machine learning model, the machine learning model trained on a training set of elements to classify documents according to a plurality of statuses, and add the first status to the document record for the EDI document of the first type, the first status accessible to a client computer via a presentation layer.

Abstract: A computer-implemented summary generation method includes obtaining input text; generating an initial lattice including serially coupled nodes corresponding to words within the input text; generating a node corresponding to an expression within the initial lattice; adding the generated node to the initial lattice to provide an extended lattice corresponding to the input text; calculating a generation probability of each word within the input text using a dictionary and a machine learning model (model); calculating a generation probability for each node included in the extended lattice based on a hidden state output by a cell corresponding to the node among cells in an encoder of the model and a hidden state updated by a cell in a decoder of the model; and generating an element of a summary of the input text based on the generation probability of each word and the generation probability of each node of the extended lattice.

Abstract: The following disclosure describes software components, such as add-ins, that are launched automatically, without being manually activated by a user. In some embodiments, the add-in may run silently, e.g. the add-in runs in the background, without displaying content in an ancillary pane. The add-in may be given access to document content, enabling pre-processing as well as decorating document content with metadata for future use. The add-in may determine that the document has met a criteria, and in response, display a visual cue directing the user to activate the add-in. When a user does manually activate the add-in by clicking on an icon or pressing a keyboard shortcut, the add-in may be pre-loaded, initialized, and have already accessed and processed document content. In this way, the add-in may display useful content in an ancillary pane in much less time, solving the technological problem of delay between manual activation and initialization of an add-in.

Subsequent to the designing, the distributed computing pipeline may be stored in a repository. The distributed computing pipeline may be stored in a file with a predefined file format pertaining to the stream analytics platform. The system also maintains a repository of different versions of the distributed computing pipeline created by the first and second user. Upon storing the file, the file may be imported in a second data processing environment. After importing the file, the distributed computing pipeline may be populated over the GUI of the second data processing environment, thereby facilitating reusability of the distributed computing pipeline.

A set of tracking instructions may be generated for execution at an edge cache server of the content delivery system. A static asset may be identified that is included in a webpage delivery session. A type may be determined for the static asset. The static asset may be grouped with a set of other static assets based on the type. The webpage request may be processed by processing the static asset. The set of tracking instructions may be transmitted to an edge cache server for storage in an edge cache of an edge network.

Abstract: A method of processing a page of a document. A plurality of commands describing graphical objects of the page configured to be reproduced in a first presentation mode are received, the plurality of commands indicating a type of each of the graphical objects, an enclosing region and a drawing order associated with each of the graphical objects. An object significance score is determined for each of the graphical objects using the respective object type and object depth. A significance profile for the page is determined by combining the determined object significance scores according to a page layout, the page layout being determined using the enclosing regions associated with the graphical objects. Logical structure elements of the page are determined using the significance profile. The plurality of commands are processed according to the determined logical structure elements for generating the page of the document in a second presentation mode.
