Abstract: A flywheel and paddle assembly for a chipping or shredding apparatus, including a wood chipper, a brush chipper, and a leaf shredder. The assembly has a flywheel attached coaxially to a drive shaft. The flywheel has at least one aperture extending from the front side to the back side, and carries at least one knife adjacent to the at least one aperture. The knife presents a knife edge on the front side of the flywheel. A paddle is rotatably mounted coaxially to the drive shaft adjacent to the back side of the flywheel. The paddle is configured to rotate on the drive shaft independently of the flywheel. A chipping or shredding apparatus incorporating the aforesaid flywheel and paddle assembly is also disclosed.
Abstract: An asymmetric deblocking method for deblocking a boundary between a P block and a Q block such that 5 samples within the P block and 7 or 3 samples within the Q block are modified. The method includes determining a value refP based on at least p5, determining a value refQ based on at least qx, wherein qx is q3 or q7; determining a value refMiddle based on at least p0 and q0, wherein p0 is directly adjacent to the boundary and q0 is directly adjacent to the boundary; performing a linear interpolation between refP and refMiddle; and performing a linear interpolation between refQ and refMiddle.

Abstract: An improved dog crate with Smart IOT connected features and a housing assembly being provided with a motor, a motor driver, and a microcontroller for selectively opening and closing a sliding door that is attached thereon. Custom-programmed software and databases include multiple inputs for receiving at least a first and a second encoded voice command associated with the opening and closing of the sliding door. The dog crate being operable with a graphical user interface being provided on an integrated LCD touch screen, a voice assistant device, or a remote access device being configured for Wi-Fi connectivity and being individually controlled by inputting the encoded voice commands.
Abstract: A column for a handwheel actuator of a steer by wire system may include a column casting, a steering jacket operably coupled to the column casting such that the steering jacket moves telescopically within the column casting for extending the handwheel and retracting the handwheel, and a tunable stroke limiter operably coupled to the steering jacket to limit stroke length of the steering jacket responsive to a barrier event.

Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present invention includes reconstructing a residual block by inverse-quantizing and inverse-transforming an entropy-decoded residual block, generating a prediction block by performing intra prediction on a current block, and reconstructing an picture by adding the reconstructed residual block to the prediction block, wherein generating the prediction block includes generating a final prediction value of a prediction target pixel included in the current block based on a first prediction value of the prediction target pixel and a final correction value calculated by performing an arithmetic right shift on a two's complementary integer representation for an initial correction value of the prediction target pixel by a binary digit of 1. Accordingly, upon image encoding/decoding, computation complexity may be reduced.
