Abstract: A method for leveraging a universal credential in an access control system according to one embodiment includes generating, by a cloud system, a CBOR web token for user access to at least one electronic lock, wherein the CBOR web token includes a group tag associated with a set of access rights for a group of users and a cryptographic signature, transmitting the CBOR web token to a user mobile device, receiving, by a first electronic lock, the CBOR web token from the user mobile device for access to a passageway secured by the first electronic lock, verifying an authenticity of the cryptographic signature of the CBOR web token and that the group tag of the CBOR web token is associated with a group authorized to access the passageway secured by the first electronic lock, and unlocking a lock mechanism in response to the verifications.

Abstract: Malicious homoglyphic domain name (MHDN) detection and associated cyber security applications are described. A domain name may be received that may be a potential MHDN. Homoglyphic domain name detection may be performed by, for example, generating a normalized character string corresponding to the input domain name by applying one or more normalization operations to the input domain name, wherein the one or more normalization operations may be configured to reduce homoglyphic characteristics in the input domain name; and generating a plurality of segmentations of the normalized character string, wherein generating each segmentation, of the plurality of segmentations, may comprise segmenting the normalized character string into a respective plurality of segments, and wherein each segmentation may comprise a different plurality of segments. A segmentation may be selected based on cost values corresponding to each respective segmentation determined using a cost function.

Abstract: A method of producing a custom medical device including a splint or brace for immobilization of a selected region of a patient's body part. Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable mediums for detecting and avoiding loss of separation between vehicles. A first method may include training a vehicle interaction machine learning model to predict future vehicle interactions based on identified vehicle interactions and an identified risk of encounter between two or more selected vehicles. A second method may include obtaining real-time data associated with a vehicle-of-interest; evaluating the real-time data associated with the vehicle-of-interest to form encounter models; monitoring the encounter models with a model access function of the vehicle interaction machine learning model to detect real-time anomalies; and in response to detecting a real-time anomaly, transmitting an alert.
Abstract: A system for security health monitoring and attestation of virtual machines in cloud computing systems is provided. The system includes a cloud server having a virtual machine and a hypervisor. The cloud server collects security measurement information and signs and hashes the security measurement information using a cryptography engine. The system also includes an attestation server for receiving the hashed security measurement information from the cloud server. The attestation server also verifies the signature and hash values, and interprets the security measurement information. The attestation server generates an attestation report based on the verification and interpretation of the security measurement information.
Abstract: A system includes an endoscope including a scope and an image sensor. The image sensor is configured to capture medical image data that includes effective image portion data and a mechanical vignetting portion data, the mechanical vignetting portion data of the medical image data being generated due to mechanical vignetting caused by a difference in the image sensor which generates the medical image data and the scope. There is also circuitry configured to determine evaluation information from image data which is from the effective image portion data, and execute a control process to at least partially control at least one of an autofocus processing, and an auto white balance processing on the endoscope on the basis of the evaluation information.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a shooting board jig device. The device is comprised of a body having a base plate and a guide fence. The guide fence can be repositioned at a plurality of angles within a 360-degree range of movement atop the base plate and secured in said position via a pin. A hand planer known in the art can further be positioned along any side of the base plate. The generally L-shaped guide fence can then receive a board. The board is then placed towards the hand planer at the selected angle, such that the planar can be used to plane the edge or the end of the board. In this manner, the device allows a user to plane a board at a plurality of desired angles.
Abstract: A method of additively manufacturing a three-dimensional object may be performed using an irradiation sequence that is based at least in part on a predicted location of one or more fume plumes emitted from the powder material when irradiated by a plurality of energy beams. An exemplary method may include determining, with a computing device, an irradiation sequence for selectively consolidating powder material using an energy beam system of an additive manufacturing machine, and providing control commands, from the computing device to the energy beam system, configured to cause the energy beam system to emit a plurality of energy beams to selectively consolidate the powder material.

Abstract: A method and a system for scheduling apparatuses in a production line are disclosed. Each of the apparatuses on the production line includes one or more functional modules, each of the functional modules have a task sequence, and a task sequence includes one or more tasks. The method includes: obtaining a queuing time required for executing each of the tasks in the task sequence of the functional module; identifying a task that has a shortest queuing time in the task sequence as a target task; executing the target task; removing the target task from the task sequence and obtaining an updated queuing time required for executing each of the tasks in the task sequence. The method divides the apparatuses on the production line apparatus into a plurality of independent functional modules and executes the task having the shortest queuing time first with respect to each of the functional modules.
