Abstract: Systems and methods for secure mobile checkouts are disclosed. The system may include a secure mobile checkout device configured to scan products available in a merchant store. The device may scan the product to determine a product identifier. The device may transmit the scanned product data to a checkout application to retrieve product data corresponding to the product identifier. In device may initiate a transaction with a payment network to purchase the product, based on the product data provided by the checkout application. The payment network may process the transaction, and may authorize the purchase with the merchant.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system, method and computer program product for preparing alert reports that includes: receiving an override request to override an insight used to prepare the alert reports; determining, determining one or more execution pipelines used to prepare the alert reports that used the insight that is the subject of the override request; determining one or more impacted pipeline runs that were executed to prepare the alert reports that used the insight that is the subject of the override request; updating the one or more execution pipelines used to prepare the alert reports; and generating new alert reports, wherein generating the new alert reports comprises re-running the one or more impacted pipeline runs using the one or more updated execution pipelines wherein the insight that is the subject of the override request is overridden.

Abstract: In an example implementation, a method includes receiving, at a computing device, borrower information, requested financing plan information, and credit bureau information relating to a particular borrower. Likewise, a method includes processing at least one of the received information to identify a subset of lenders as potential candidates to approve a loan for the particular borrower and generate an offer of the loan for the borrower. Further, the method includes performing a portfolio assignment process and generating electronic documents relating to the loan following the borrower's acceptance of the offer. Finally, the method includes sending an offer of the loan to a borrower and, upon receipt of the borrower's acceptance, transmitting the loan documents to the borrower.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a method that includes receiving first identifying information associated with a first user from a computing device; determining a score based on the first identifying information; determining whether the score is less than a threshold; pseudo-randomly generate and transmit a one-time use number to the computing device when the score is less than the threshold. When the score is greater than or equal to the threshold, the method may include transmitting, to the computing device, second instructions prompting the first user to provide second identifying information. Responsive to receiving the second identifying information of the first user, the method may include determining that the second identifying information matches stored second identifying information. Responsive to the second identifying information matching stored second identifying information, the method may include pseudo-randomly generate and transmit the one-time use number to the computing device.

Abstract: A system and method for verifying over a computer network the legitimacy of a participant in communications by authenticating the participant's actual name and address, and in some embodiments also authenticating the participant's ownership of corporate stock. At least one processor is provided that is configured to verify participant identity by authenticating the participant's actual name and address through any one of several offered alternative means, including from subscription, membership or credit card information, or confirmation of USPS mail delivery. A processor may also be configured to verify stock ownership through whatever records suit the participant, including SEC records, corporate transfer agent records, electronic copies of ownership records or online custodial account records. The independent processes of identity and ownership verification may be coordinated to verify investor status in communications.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a predictive contextual transaction scoring system receives transaction review data associated with person-to-person transactions from a marketplace, the transaction review data including feedback information relating to the person-to-person transaction. The system identifies contextual characteristics of the person-to-person transactions by analyzing the feedback information related to the person-to-person transactions. The system pairs a first party requesting a service to a second party providing the requested service by matching a contextual characteristic of the first party to a contextual characteristic of the second party. The system also predicts a transaction score for a new person-to-person transaction involving the first party and the second party, and provides the predicted transaction score to the marketplace to facilitate pairing of the first party requesting the service.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authenticating ownership of an account in real-time or near real-time so that a user can fund or open a new account without waiting for several days. The system enables an operator to select one or more methods for authentication from a group of candidate schemes. The candidate schemes include (1) a card-association-network scheme; (2) an account-aggregation scheme; and (3) a credit-bureau-integration scheme.

Abstract: A damage assessment module operating on a computer system automatically evaluates a roof, estimating damage to the roof by analyzing a point cloud of a roof. The damage assessment module identifies individual shingles from the point cloud and detects potentially damaged areas on each of the shingles. The damage assessment module then maps the potentially damaged areas of each shingle back to the point cloud to determine which areas of the roof are damaged. Based on the estimation, the damage assessment module generates a report on the roof damage.

Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein describe a generic transaction card that generates an account number based on a biometric identifier of a user. Multiple users may use the generic transaction card to transact. For example, a first user may provide a first biometric identifier to the generic transaction card, which may generate a first account number associated with the first user. The first user may then use the generic transaction card to transact. Similarly, a second user may provide a second biometric identifier to the same generic transaction card, which may generate a second account number associated with the second user. The second user may then use the same generic transaction card to make purchases charged to the second user's account.

Abstract: A programmed computer-implemented method allows enterprises to pay transactions using a virtual credit card at the time of an approved purchase order. The approach maintains corporate controls relating to requisitions and purchase orders, eliminates the need for electronic invoicing, and automates the accounting and reconciliation of virtual credit card charges. For example, a particular line item in a card statement, representing a particular charge event, is automatically reconciled to the correct purchase order. For another example, each charge represented in a card statement can be associated with the supplier that is identified in a corresponding PO. Therefore, a computer graphical user interface (GUI) can show vendor identification at any time, whereas most buyers are not able to see the true vendor in spend data on a credit card charge, as the vendor is typically just represented as the issuing bank.

Abstract: The invention is a method for securing a system including a plurality of entities and a repository storing usage patterns. The method comprises the following steps: for each of the entities involved in a transaction requested by a user, capturing a behavior data reflecting the dynamic behavior of said entity, generating a set of locality-sensitive-hashing hashes from each of said behavior data, computing a similarity score for each of the entities involved in the transaction, based on both said usage patterns and the set of generated locality-sensitive-hashing hashes, and based on a subset of the computed similarity scores, applying a preset security action to the transaction.

Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for interfacing a computing system to a human user. For example, a computing system may provide a graphical user interface at a display of a user computing device. The user interface may include a positive financial profile indicator at a first position on the display; a negative financial profile indicator at a second position on the display opposite the positive financial profile indicator; and a user financial profile indicator describing a user, the user financial profile indicator positioned between the positive financial profile indicator and the negative financial profile indicator. The computing system may receive user transaction data describing a financial transaction. The computing system may determine that the financial transaction worsens a financial profile of the user. The computing system may also modify the user interface to orient the user financial profile indicator towards the negative financial profile indicator.
