  • Patent number: 11636465
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system, method, and computer program for funding a payment card account from an external funding gateway just-in-time for a purchase. A payment card processing system maintains a payment card account for a user for funds from a third party funding source. Funds from the funding source are controlled by an external funding gateway. In order to approve a purchase authorization transaction, the payment card account must have a positive balance equal to or greater than the purchase amount. Funding requests are sent from the payment card processing system to the external funding gateway in response to receiving a purchase authorization request for the payment card, and, if the funding request is approved by the external funding gateway, the system credits to the payment card account with the funds just-in-time for approval of a purchase authorization request.

  • Patent number: 11636538
Abstract: A system and method for providing a corporate “co-signor” for potential purchasers of an automobile who do not meet captive lender or standard bank approval guidelines. The corporate co-signor does not sign or execute loan documents alongside the purchaser in a manner similar to co-signors in the prior art, but instead guarantees the loans that are underwritten using a “cosignloan” product implemented in agreement with a captive lender. The loan is based on a payment-to-income (PTI) basis, supported by the security provided by the corporate co-signor. The dealer will then be able to use the “cosignloan” product parameters to provide appropriate new, used, or certified pre-owned vehicles to the customer/purchaser. The corporate co-signor receives an administration fee for each loan. The administration fee, in one embodiment, is sent to a reserve account by the captive lender from the dealer booking proceeds.

  • Patent number: 11625775
Abstract: The Advantage2U® system is an on-line system that increases the buying power of customers, enables customers to pay down a vehicle loan more quickly than the standard payments for the loan term would allow, and enables customers with negative equity in a vehicle loan to more quickly reach a position of positive equity. The Advantage2U system accomplishes this by collecting weekly payments from customers, instead of monthly payments from the customers. Since vehicle loans require monthly payments, the Advantage2U system collects one quarter of the total monthly payment per week. However, since this results in the customer paying one quarter of the monthly payment for 52 weeks in a given year, instead of the customer making 12 monthly payments, the customer has effectively made 13 monthly payments in a given year, and the extra amounts paid are directly applied to the principal of the loan.

  • Patent number: 11605136
Abstract: In embodiments, diagnostics are electronically determined and provided as to why historical resource values differ from resource values determined according to more-trusted ways. Historical relationship instance data regarding a plurality of historical relationship instances between a primary entity and a plurality of secondary entities are received along with a plurality of historical resource values, in which each historical relationship instance of the plurality of historical relationship instances is associated with a respective historical resource value of the plurality of historical resource values. The system produces a respective trusted resource values based on the respective historical relationship instance. Based on differences between the respective trusted resource value and the respective historical resource value associated with the dataset, the system outputs one or more diagnostic comments associated with the detected difference.

  • Patent number: 11599953
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the problem of automatic, algorithm-guided estimation of insurance loss ratio, claims frequency, the probability of excess claims, and other insurance policy performance characteristics for an individual insured or for groups of insured individuals. A time-series-derived Bayesian power spectrum weight is calculated from the frequency of temporal pattern-specific values in terms of intensities at various frequencies of the power spectrum computed from credit utilization ratio (CUR; outstanding balance of debt, as a percentage of credit line available) time-series obtained by the insurer by ‘soft pull’ inquiries submitted periodically to credit-rating agencies, and provides an opportunity to capture and measure the relative magnitude of frequent or unexpected changes in consumer liquidity.

  • Patent number: 11593813
Abstract: A first graph that includes a plurality of containers is accessed. The containers each contain one or more rules that each have corresponding computer code. The containers are configured for sequential execution by a rule engine. The computer code corresponding to the one or more rules in each of the containers is electronically scanned. Based on the electronic scan, an interdependency among the rules is determined. Based on the determined interdependency, a second graph is generated. The second graph includes all of the rules of the containers, but not the containers themselves. At least some of the rules are configured for parallel execution by the rule engine.

  • Patent number: 11593806
Abstract: A computerized method produces an identity code to identify each subject stored in the computer systems connected to a computer network while protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the subject. A central computer system receives an identity code of a suspect of a financial crime and sends the identity code to all computer systems connected to the computer network. The computer systems that have the matched identity code send the requested information to the central computer system. As a result, law enforcement organizations can eliminate crimes and financial institutions can recover the money stolen from them. In addition, law enforcement organizations and financial institutions can identify money launderers that are missed by their anti-money laundering transactional monitoring systems.
