  • Patent number: 11882143
Abstract: Embodiments are directed toward a non-transitory processor-readable medium for providing a zero-day attack prevention cybersecurity system, including an agent and an orchestrator. The agent is configured to be installed at an endpoint within a network to be evaluated. The endpoint has a cybersecurity solution to be tested. The orchestrator is enables standardized tactics, techniques, and procedures (“TTPs”) and non-standard TTPs to be sent across the network to the endpoint. The agent is configured to limit network communication outgoing from the endpoint to predefined or selected communications while the agent is installed at the endpoint. Accordingly, the agent and the orchestrator cooperatively enable testing the cybersecurity solution of the endpoint with respect to both the standardized TTPs and the non-standard TTPs without exposing other endpoints in communication with the network to security risks posed by the standardized TTPs and the non-standard TTPs sent to the endpoint.

  • Patent number: 11876826
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for assessing the cyber competence of a user by analyzing human biometrics using a neural network model. According to an embodiment, the system collects human biometrics data, including eye movement data from biometric sensing device of a user, analyses the human biometrics data using an adaptive neural network model that performs rational inference to learn the correlation between the human biometric and mental disorder and provide an assessment of a cyber competence for the user based on identified mental disorder. The system may identify definitive cyber risk and assign a cyber competence score for the user using a machine learning model or using a mental disorder-cyber risk correlation table. The system may take preventive actions to prevent cyber-attacks based on the cyber competence score.

  • Patent number: 11837356
Abstract: A method for remotely updating the behavior and state of a medical device or the firmware itself of a medical device, not requiring physical access to the device, that occurs through an encrypted and authenticated communication channel. The behavior and state of the device may be modified from a healthcare provider interface through a transmission method. The firmware of the medical device may be modified by the use of over the air device firmware updates, created from a designated secure machine called a build machine described herein. Both actions are transmitted to a server and then forwarded to a companion device and are particularly designed so that the server never stores sensitive cryptographic material in the event of server compromise. The companion device forwards the update to the medical device, which decrypts and validates the update or command before performing the change.

  • Patent number: 11831956
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating personalized menus and a media content interface are provided. In one example, different device specific media asset lists are generated at different user devices for the same user based on the media consumption history at each device. In another example, media asset listings are displayed for multicast and on-demand media assets determined to be of interest to the user. An on-demand media asset is listed at a time when no other multicast media assets are listed. In another example, media asset listings for successive episodes of a media series are displayed in sequential order in response to an input to view successive episodes of a media series. In another example, a text search for media content is performed in which the search priority of media provider results is decreased relative to the search priority of media asset results as additional characters are added to a search string.

  • Patent number: 11822963
Abstract: Technologies for dynamically sharing remote resources include a computing node that sends a resource request for remote resources to a remote computing node in response to a determination that additional resources are required by the computing node. The computing node configures a mapping of a local address space of the computing node to the remote resources of the remote computing node in response to sending the resource request. In response to generating an access to the local address, the computing node identifies the remote computing node based on the local address with the mapping of the local address space to the remote resources of the remote computing node and performs a resource access operation with the remote computing node over a network fabric. The remote computing node may be identified with system address decoders of a caching agent and a host fabric interface. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 11824851
Abstract: Computer systems and methods are provided for determining authenticity of a document. A computer system receives first image data from a remote third party. The first image data includes a first image of a document. The computer system generates an image hash based on at least a portion of the received image data. The computer system compares the generated image hash with a stored image hash to determine whether the generated image hash meets image matching criteria. The stored image hash is associated with a first predetermined authentication decision. In accordance with a determination that the generated image hash meets the image matching criteria, the computer system transmits the first predetermined authentication decision to the remote third party.

  • Patent number: 11818163
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to training a machine learning model to handle adversarial attacks. In some embodiments, a computer system perturbs, using a set of adversarial attack methods, a set of training examples used to train a machine learning model. In some embodiments, the computer system identifies, from among the perturbed set of training examples, a set of sparse perturbed training examples that are usable to train machine learning models to identify adversarial attacks, where the set of sparse perturbed training examples includes examples whose perturbations are below a perturbation threshold and whose classifications satisfy a classification difference threshold. In some embodiments, the computer system retrains, using the set of sparse perturbed training examples, the machine learning model. The disclosed techniques may advantageously enable a machine learning model to correctly classify data associated with adversarial attacks.
