The operational panel includes multiple buttons so that when pressing any one of the multiple buttons, the microcontroller starts the transmission mechanism to actuate the sickbed to lift or descend. The switch is arranged on the body and moves close to or away from the calling knob. When the switch is pushed to abut against the calling knob, the calling knob is maintained on a locking position and does not generate a calling signal. When the switch is pushed to move away from the calling knob, the calling knob is maintained on a starting position and is pressed to conduct the power and to send the calling signal.
