Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a WLAN communication method. An example includes: receiving a polling request message at a client from an access point; checking whether the client is a polled client; if the client is the polled client, then sending a polling response message from the client to the access point; entering a function execution time window, and, when a moment for executing a function is reached in the function window, executing the function at the client. The function window starts when the client sends the polling response and ends before a retention time window starts. The retention time window begins with a safety time window and ends after it is expected that a polling response message will next be sent. The safety time window includes a period before a next polling cycle starts not less than an execution time of a function about to be executed.

  • Patent number: 12355684
Abstract: An Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing digital radio transmitter is arranged to transmit a data packet comprising a plurality of Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing symbols. At least one of the symbols comprises a plurality of demodulation reference signals in a first plurality of frequency sub-carriers of the symbol. The transmitter is arranged to transmit a physical control channel at least partly distributed among a remainder of frequency sub-carriers of the symbol according to a calculated distribution. The transmitter calculates the distribution by arranging the remainder of frequency sub-carriers in a two-dimensional matrix such that said remainder of frequency sub-carriers have indices which are sequential in a first dimension and have a common increment in a second dimension, and allocating a second plurality of the remainder of frequency sub-carriers to the physical control channel sequentially in the second direction.

  • Patent number: 12262210
Abstract: Dynamic configuration of Overlapping Basic Set Service Preamble Detect (OBSS/PD) parameters for an Access Point (AP) may be provided. First, a plurality of stations within a Spatial Reuse (SR) range of the AP may be determined. Next, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) calculations associated with the plurality of stations may be performed to determine an SINR impact on the plurality of stations if the AP performs an SR transmission given OBSS/PD parameters currently configured for the AP. Then, based on the SINR calculations, the OBSS/PD parameters for the AP may be dynamically adjusted.

  • Patent number: 12177658
Abstract: A first dual SIM user equipment (UE) has a first wireless connection to first Citizens Broadband radio Services Devices (CBSD) of a first network and a second wireless connection to a second CBSD of a second network. Different encryption and different frequency hopping patterns are used with regard to communicating the same voice packet information over the first and second wireless connections. The same voice information is attempted to be redundantly communicated over the two connections, e.g. concurrently or with a slight delay with regard to the two connections. The CBRS communications are typically less reliable than cellular licensed spectrum communications, and a particular encrypted voice packet may, and sometimes is lost; however, the redundancy is used to compensate for expected losses. Successfully recovered encrypted voice packets are sent from the CBSDs to a packet synchronizer which performs decryption and combines the recovered packets into a single packet stream.

  • Patent number: 12133103
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic channel representations are described. Initially a sensing receiver receives a sensing transmission. The sensing receiver then generates a sensing measurement based on the sensing transmission. Thereafter, the sensing receiver generates a channel representation information of a propagation channel between the sensing receiver and a sensing transmitter based on the sensing measurement. The sensing receiver then obtains a sensing imprint representing a steady-state propagation channel between the sensing receiver and the sensing transmitter. Further, the sensing receiver compares the channel representation information to the sensing imprint and identifies a difference between the channel representation information and the sensing imprint. The sensing receiver may further send the channel representation information to a sensing algorithm manager.
