  • Patent number: 11097145
Abstract: The present invention is a free weight belt squat machine that allows a free, unencumbered raising and lowering of variable resistance by a user. A belt which is directly attached to the horizontal free weight bar holds standard Olympic plates and may be raised or lowered, directly in free space, by the user. Thus, the natural and optimal movement pattern of a straight line over the user's center of gravity may be fully and completely realized. This machine provides a control arm to safely and effectively engage and disengage the resistance from the machine to the user and then back to the machine. This machine further provides an adjustable stopper mechanism for the safety of the user and to limit or expand the range of the exercise to cause the desired adaptations in muscular strength and size.

  • Patent number: 11077334
Abstract: Improvements in a rower with articulating footpads. The footpads have first (raised) position that uncovers wheels that allow for easy transportation of the rowing machine from one location to another. In this position the footpads are prevented from dragging on the floor when the rowing machine is being transported. The second position of the footpads rotate over the structural stability frame member. This orientation provides two flat surfaces for the user to stand upon. The footpads have a rear lip to locate the back or heels of the user. A strap is pulled from a loading mechanism and is guided out of the loading system to allow the strap to be pulled out of the loading system from a variety of angles.

  • Patent number: 11071883
Abstract: It is a main purpose of this invention to provide for a mode changing mechanism for use with a pole. A “J” shaped locking/un-locking mechanism is provided on an outer ring of the invention, which enables a user to select between a fixed and a rotating mode for the pole. A switch positioned in the “J” shaped groove enables the alternation between the fixed configuration and the rotating configuration of the pole. The rotating configuration enables the pole to rotate freely and the fixed configuration does not allow the pole to rotate. The pole is mechanically fastened to an inner ring. The inner ring is configured to rotate around an axis member fastened to a base plate of the mechanism. An outer ring is concentrically positioned outside the inner ring, the outer ring having the “J” shaped groove.

  • Patent number: 10953259
Abstract: A resistance-generating includes an elongated resilient body having opposed ends. A first mounting member is attached to the resilient body at one of the ends, and a second mounting member attached to the other end. The first and second mounting members are made of an inelastic material. At least one of the first and second mounting members is removably mountable to a corresponding one of the first and second mounting members of another device. The first mounting member is removably mountable to a first structure and the second mounting member is removably mountable to a second structure being displaceable relative to the first structure. The resilient body generates resistance upon being elastically deformed by displacement of the second mounting member mounted to the second structure relative to the first mounting member mounted to the first structure.
