Patent number: 8013859Abstract: A graphical display combines multiple dimensions of information relating to resource allocation and usage by a group of computer systems and sub-systems of the computer systems. The graphical display includes a series of graphics, each indicating resource usage by one of the computer systems. In addition, each graphic has multiple sections. Each section of the graphic indicates resource usage by a sub-system that is within the computer system represented by the graphic. Each section of the graphics may also be color-coded. Patent number: 7999830Abstract: Rendering graphics on a display of a device. In a portable or wireless device, a list of instructions needed to refresh or generate a frame is first created. The created instructions are then parsed or optimized to remove instructions that result in unnecessary processing instructions. The optimized list is then executed. During generation of a given frame, a view hierarchy is traversed to identify damaged portions of a display. The damaged portions are not copied to the frame. Also, information that has not changed is likewise not usually copied. Damage from the previous frame less damage from the current frame is copied to the appropriate buffer. The instructions are optimized to render only the portion of the frame that is necessary. Portions of the display that are not visible are not traversed in the view hierarchy and are not considered until visible on the display.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2007Date of Patent: August 16, 2011Assignee: Dell Products L.P.Inventors: Arthur Anthonie Van Hoff, Geoffrey W. Patent number: 7920150Abstract: An image scaling system includes a window memory, a longitudinal scaler, a buffer and a latitudinal scaler. The window memory temporarily stores partial data of N image lines. The longitudinal scaler performs a longitudinal scaling operation on the partial data of the N image lines to thereby produce partial data of a longitudinal image line. The latitudinal scaler performs a latitudinal scaling operation on the partial data of the longitudinal image line to thereby produce scaling-part data of a latitudinal image line. The longitudinal scaler and the latitudinal scaler use a window average to perform an image shrinking operation and a bi-linear interpolation average to perform an image expanding operation.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2007Date of Patent: April 5, 2011Assignee: Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chih-Cheng Ku, Chun-Chi Chen, Wen-Cheng Ho

Patent number: 7907150Abstract: A method of presenting multiple image sources of approximately registered images so that the mind can easily fuse the multiple images into one image. Improvement to fusing can be achieved by alternating views between sources at 85 hertz or more. The insertion of a black frame between the succession of frames optimizes the neurological functions of the human optical system (produces retinal decay) such that the perception of a useful fused image is greatly enhanced. Stereographic fusion can also be achieved to allow for fusion of loosely registered datasets.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2004Date of Patent: March 15, 2011Assignee: Doubleshot, Inc.Inventors: Alan Shulman, Donald R.
