Abstract: Inventive disclosures made herein comprise various embodiments of a vehicle emergency toilet system having portions built into the seat of the vehicle. The toilet equipped vehicle seats having a toilet with a disposable waste receiving reservoir built into a seat portion thereof together with deployable privacy shades build into the vehicle seat back, vehicle roof or rear deck. The emergency toilet may be built into any flying mode of transportation like a helicopter, a jet plane, a military helicopter, a submarine (any submersible modes of transportation), an automobile, an ambulance, a stakeout police car or a detective car, a surveillance car, a taxi, among others.

Abstract: Systems and techniques to provide a flexing support in a spa, such as a flexing spa headrest. In general, in one implementation, a system includes a surface defining a multi-level recess including a primary recess and secondary mounting recesses, and a pillow including a flexible concave pad and mounts that couple the flexible concave pad with the surface, the secondary mounting recesses receiving the mounts such that the flexible concave pad is suspended above the primary recess, a curved edge of the flexible concave pad contacts the surface, and the flexible concave pad mechanically flexes concavely between the mounts and about the curved edge when force is applied.

Abstract: A disposable protector containing splashes in a clogged toilet during plunging. A frame includes a non-continuous hoop allowing to the hoop to sealingly conform to just below the rim of the clogged and a handle having a pair of arms generally conforming to, and capturing, the rim of the clogged toilet. A portion of each arm criss-cross each other so as to allow the hoop to decrease in size when the handle is squeezed for insertion into the clogged toilet just below the rim of the clogged toilet. The shield removably receives the hoop and includes upper and lower sheets attached to each other at their peripheries, except for a portion thereof that is sufficient in length to allow insertion of the hoop into the shield and removal therefrom when the handle is squeezed and the size of the hoop is reduced.

Abstract: A lift is provided to facilitate access to swimming pools and spas. The lift includes a base and a mast extending therefrom. An arm pivotally connects to the mast. A seat assembly connects to the arm. An overhead support is positioned above the seat assembly. A first actuator moves the arm about the mast, thereby moving the seat assembly between raised and lowered positions, to bring the seat assembly out of and into a pool. A second actuator rotates the seat assembly relative to the base to position the seat assembly over the pool or deck. In use, the lift attaches to a pool deck, adjacent the pool, and a user accesses the seat assembly from the deck. The second actuator rotates about the base to position the user over the water. The first actuator lowers the seat assembly, and the user exits the seat assembly into the water.

Abstract: Disclosed is a seat for use around the bathtub area. Specifically, the seat is formed so that it can fit around a side wall of a bathtub. Because there are many standard sizes of bathtubs, some embodiments of the invention include an adjustment mechanism so that the seat can be adjusted to securely attach to the side wall of most sizes of bathtubs. Other embodiments of the invention provide for a seat that can be used within the bathtub itself. Further embodiments are implemented that can sit securely on a bathtub on which a door rail is also attached.

Abstract: A system for lifting a spa cover lifter. The system includes a pole and a post. The system also includes a first support member and a second support member. The first support member is pivotably connected to the pole. The second support member is pivotably connected to the pole and pivotably connected to the post. The system also includes a first cable connected to the spa cover, a second cable connected to the pole, and a drive mechanism connected to the first and second cables.

Abstract: Lavatory systems that include lavatory modules are provided. In one embodiment, each lavatory module includes a first wall, a second wall coupled to the first wall, a sink, and a urinal. The first wall of a first one of the lavatory modules is attached to the first wall of a second one of the lavatory modules and the first wall of a third one of the lavatory modules is attached to the first wall of a fourth one of the lavatory modules. The second walls are attached to each other. The lavatory modules include an amenities cabinet and a trash bin. The sinks and urinals may be coupled to a common plumbing system. The lavatory modules are manufactured separately and attached once loaded and placed into position on board a vehicle, such as an aircraft.

Abstract: A pressurized flush system includes a pressure water vessel having an inlet and an outlet. An infill valve, an open valve, and a flush valve are provided with the flush valve disposed within the pressure vessel and in fluid communication with the infill valve and the open valve. The flush valve includes a hollow valve body and cooperating pistons controlling water discharge from the water vessel outlet. The cooperating pistons are disposed within the hollow valve body.

Abstract: A captive drain plug assembly is securely attached to a drain trap and has a mounting anchor mounted inside the drain trap, a sleeve mounted slidably on the mounting anchor and a decorative stopper attached to the sleeve. When the drain plug is used, the decorative stopper will not detach from the mounting anchor. Further, the decorative stopper can be formed as an interesting figure to increase fun when the decorative stopper is used.

Abstract: A drain valve, which is assembled on a rotating element of a water tank, is adapted to cooperate with a handle and a link element of the water tank for controlling opening or stopping a drain hole of the water tank. The drain valve includes a fixing base, a cover above the fixing base, a float below the fixing base, and a stop pad between the cover and the fixing base. The fixing base forms outer screw threads on an outer peripheral of a lower portion thereof. A plurality of vent holes being distributed at an outer peripheral of a bottom of the fixing base. The float defines inner screw threads on an inner peripheral of an upper portion thereof for engaging with the outer screw threads of the fixing base thereby adjusting width of the vent holes. The drain valve controls water draining time and stopping time and effectively saves water. In addition, the drain valve is adapted for all types of toilet water tank and is assembled easily.

Abstract: A pedal actuated seat lifter has a mounting plate fastened between a toilet bowl and its seat using existing bolts holding the seat in place. A floor pedal transmits lifting force through a chain or the like to a lever and lifting arm hinged to the mounting plate. The seat lifter can be provided as a kit of parts for relatively simple assembly and installation on an existing toilet fixture without use of adhesives or alteration of the toilet fixture, the floor or walls.

Abstract: A toilet seat and handle combination comprising a toilet seat and at least one handle. The toilet seat has an upper side and a bottom side, right and left sides, and at least one groove located in the bottom side. The handle comprises at least one section that fits inside the groove, which has sufficient depth to ensure that the section fits at least partially inside the groove with respect to the bottom side of the toilet seat.

Abstract: A toilet bowl automatically flushes and lowers within a cylinder to a cleaning position. The interior of the bowl is then contacted by a brush cleaning assembly, including a detergent spray and water rinse and then is raised back up to the ready-for-use position.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, the hygienic toilet with a user protection from evacuations is designed. A self-foaming liquid soap as a high efficiency absorbing substance is used from contaminations produced during evacuations. A water tank is comprised of two compartments: one is for flashing water that could be a regular gravity tank, or a pressure assisted flash water, and a separate compartment is for a self-foaming liquid soap. A toilet bowl is designed with two rims: one is for a flashing water and another one for a soap foam. A soap foam is applied into a bowl walls and on a water surface on a bowl bottom for protection from evacuations and reflections into a user.

Abstract: A portable, individual, collapsible latrine especially suitable for outdoor use including military personnel. The latrine comprises a pair of generally rectangular shaped members, preferably of a molded plastic material, fitting one inside the other and hingedly connected, to form a collapsible frame. A pair of straps connect the upper ends of the two frame members to limit the extent of opening, and to support weight placed on the lid (namely the weight of a user). A lid (also of a molded plastic material) is hingedly connected to one of the frame members, preferably by means of a “living hinge” molded into the material. A disposable bag fits into an opening in the lid, for capturing human waste, with material in the bag to at least partially absorb the waste. A supply of toilet tissue, bags, and absorbent material are carried on the frame by removable cords.

Abstract: A cover lid for a urinal having a fresh scent compartment includes a basic portable urinal container with cover lid made to secure a new plastic hand on top of it. The basic portable urinal container is for receiving and storing the user's urine. The new plastic hand is for storing a fresh scented liquid inside, so the user can control the unpleasant odors found inside the urinal container. Finally, both the new cover lid & new plastic hand were specially made to be placed together to form a new compartment. In addition the new plastic hand has a screw on 24 mm flip-top cap w/valve for releasing the liquid from the new plastic hand into the urinal's container.

Abstract: A pool lift has a base, releasably positionable on a pool deck spacedly adjacent a pool edge. The base pivotally mounts an elongate arcuate lift frame about an axis parallel to the pool edge. A hydraulic cylinder extends in pivotal interconnection between the base and the medial portion of the arcuate lift frame to pivotally move a chair user support, carried by the lift frame and oriented in a direction parallel to the adjacent pool edge, from a first upright position spacedly above the pool deck to a second downward position spacedly below the pool deck in the pool cavity. An orienting cable maintains the chair user support in horizontal seating orientation during its course of motion. The hydraulic cylinder preferably is powered by a household pressurized water supply.

Abstract: A sink assembly supported by a countertop surface or a freestanding cabinet to form a food preparation station is provided. The sink assembly includes a sink basin, a stanchion, a cutting board supported by the stanchion, and a coupling member fastening the cutting board and stanchion. The stanchion has first and second uprights extending between lower edges that are coextensive with the basin floor and terminating in a platform spanning therebetween. Mounts, such as slotted brackets, releasably secure the stanchion to the basin floor. The coupling member may be first and second pairs of cooperating fasteners associated with the cutting board and platform. The fasteners can be a cooperating tab and slot and a cooperating spring clip and peg. The basin floor may be sloped in multiple directions while the cutting board, when coupled to the stanchion, extends generally parallel to the horizontal plane of the support surface.
