Abstract: A sign with the front comprising one or more image and/or text cut-outs. The cut-outs may be used in combination with non-cutout images or text, which can be printed or otherwise fixed to the front. A sleeve or holder is disposed on the back of the sign to receive and secure one or more inserts. Inserts may then be inserted and removed through the top opening. Images, colors, or patterns on the side of the insert facing the front of the sign can be seen through the cut-outs by a viewer of the sign, and appear to fill the respective portions of the cut-outs. Inserts may be changed out periodically to change the appearance of the sign without changing the cut-out images and/or text. Inserts may be changed out daily, seasonally, for holidays, and for special events or other reasons.

Abstract: A system for monitoring anxiety of an individual includes a chair having at least a seat and a back, a base supporting the chair, and a first sensor disposed in at least one of the seat or the back. The first sensor is configured to, without being in direct contact with the individual, continuously obtain data related to a first physical characteristic from the individual seated in the chair. The first physical characteristic is one of respiration or pulse rate. The system further includes a display and a controller. The controller is configured to receive, in real-time, the data related to the first physical characteristic from the first sensor and compile a first metric from the received data. The first metric is configured to visually represent a change in the first physical characteristic. The controller is further configured to output the first metric to the display in real-time.

Abstract: A pop-up gift card includes a card that is foldable along a fold line between closed and opened positions. The card includes a separable perforated section extending over both sides of the fold line. An erectable pop-up display structure comprising a plurality of intersecting slice-form elements is mounted on the perforated section of the card. When the card is closed, the pop-up display structure is in a flattened state, and when the card is opened, the pop-up display structure is in an erected 3-D state. The pop-up display structure can be removed from the card by separating the perforated section from the rest of the card. A support element can be affixed to the perforated section for maintaining the pop-up display structure in the 3-D state when the pop-up display structure is removed from the card.

Abstract: A livestock management system for detecting, tracking, and responding to livestock location and physical parameters, and for determining livestock behavior and physical conditions correlated thereto. The system generally includes a plurality of tags and sensors attached to and implanted in a plurality of livestock, one or more local sensors, a management platform, and a remote computer system. Each tag receives, processes and maintains data regarding the location, activity and physical parameters of a livestock to which it is attached and locally determines the behavior and physical conditions of the livestock. The tags communicate with other nearby tags and sensors locally via dynamic mesh networks and with the management platform and remote computer system via longer range wireless networks. The management platform processes the tag data and produces herd-related data. The remote computer uses the tag data to generate and update livestock behavior and condition models for download to the tags.
