Abstract: An electronic sign having slotted frame cabinets whereby each slotted frame cabinet can conveniently be attached to one or more vertically or horizontally positioned adjacent slotted frame cabinets by using connecting components which are generally located around the periphery of one or more slotted frame cabinets. Connecting components, including splice bars, splice plates, and mounting clamps, are aligned in, positioned along and secured to backing bars which are co-located in backing bar slots in one or more of the slatted frame cabinets. Lift eyes can be variably located in one or more lift eye slots. The use of externally located connecting components, which do not extend through the cabinetry, minimize the entry of environmental elements into the interior of the electronic sign. Multiple slotted frame cabinets can be connected without the removal of LED display panels.

Abstract: A display device for a walker is disclosed which has a panel having a front side, a back side, a left side edge, a right side edge, a top side edge, and a bottom side edge, an interior pocket formed between the front side and the back side, a series of grommets positioned along the left side edge of the panel, a series of grommets positioned along the right side edge of the panel, and a closure device positioned along the top side edge.

Abstract: A display body includes a first display part, which displays first information, and a second display part, which displays second information of a larger display size than the first information. The second display part includes the entire first display part as a part of the second display part. The first display part has a plasmon structure. The plasmon structure includes an interface between a metal layer and a dielectric layer, which transmits light, and is configured so that surface plasmons are excited in the interface to change irradiation light with which the interface is irradiated to transmitted light having a color different from that of the irradiation light. The first information is displayed with the transmitted light.

Abstract: An auxiliary binding jig is configured for assisting a plurality of binding members to bind a plurality of papers into a bound document, and includes an auxiliary plate body having opposite first and second planar surfaces, and a plurality of engaging holes extending through the first and second planar surfaces and each having a constriction which divides a respective engaging hole into two hole portions and which is formed by two press tabs defining therebetween a slot communicating with the hole portions. The press tabs are configured to press against an outer ring of each binding member when each binding member is inserted into a respective engaging hole through the slot so as to position each binding member on the auxiliary plate body.

Abstract: A pop-up display apparatus includes a shroud having first and second sheets disposed in opposition to one another, the first and second sheets being connected to one another at a first side by a first joint and at a second side by a second joint. A stop member is disposed between the first and second sheets between the first and second joints and is connected to the first and second joints at a first height of the shroud. The stop member includes first and second stop elements arranged for translational movement in opposite directions relative to one another between a first and a second position. An elastic member, separate from the stop member, is connected to the first and second joints at a second height, the elastic member and being configured to bias the first joint toward the second joint.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a transparent electronic display board and a method for manufacturing the same. The transparent electronic display board displays text, images, or videos by means of switching on or off a plurality of light emitting elements installed on transparent electrodes. The transparent electronic display board is configured such that wiring of the light emitting elements is effectively formed. Therefore, the number of assembly processes and the level of difficulty in manufacture thereof can be reduced, allowing for improved productivity.

Abstract: A fixed-shell aircraft passenger seat including a seat bottom pivotably attached to a seatback, a fixed-shell positioned behind the seatback, left and right spreaders guiding the seat bottom forward and lower as the seat bottom moves to a reclined sitting position, a linkage arm linked with movement of the seat bottom, and a locking gas spring arranged between the linkage arm and a fixed seat frame member for counterbalancing passenger weight to return the seat bottom to upright and prevent over acceleration into a cradle recline sitting position.

Abstract: A rolling information display system includes a heated roller grill having at least a first coated, heated roller positioned adjacent a second coated, heated roller, said at least first and second coated, heated rollers rotating together; and a tube comprising a plastic material resistant to temperatures at which the heated roller grill operates, the tube being open on both ends and further comprising rolling surfaces at opposing ends of the tube for rolling in contact with heated rolling surfaces of the heated roller grill and one or more recessed surfaces for bearing information about products provided on the heated roller grill. Information is printed in the one or more recessed surfaces, or is applied directly to or molded directly into the recessed surfaces. The rolling surface at opposing ends of the tube are integral with the tube. The products provided on the heated roller grill are food items.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for the preforming and rounding of a book block. A support strip is arranged at an adjustable loading height for accommodating a fore-edge of the book block to be rounded. A transport device transports the book block at the loading height toward the support strip. A preform press is adjustable in a vertical direction above the back of the book block and includes at least two preforming tools. A rounding device including two rounding rolls driven in opposite directions for rotation around parallel rotational axes clamps the book block between the two rounding rolls for rounding the book block. At least a first drive is connected to at least one of the preforming tools to displace at least one of the preforming tools in a longitudinal direction extending parallel to the rotational axes to change a spacing between the preforming tools in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A frame assembly system is disclosed. In some examples, the frame assembly system comprises a plurality of joining pieces having a plurality of openings in each joining piece, each of the plurality of openings having a first cross-sectional shape and framing pieces having a second cross-sectional shape, different from the first cross-sectional shape, wherein the first cross-sectional shape can be formed by an arrangement of two or more of the framing pieces, a first one of the two or more framing pieces positioned approximately perpendicular to at least a second one of the two or more framing pieces in the arrangement. In some examples, four joining pieces form four corners of a rectangular frame, and at least eight framing pieces form four sides of the rectangular frame. In some examples, the first cross-sectional shape is a T shape and the second cross-sectional shape is rectangular. In some examples, the first cross-sectional shape is an L shape and the second cross-sectional shape is rectangular.

Abstract: A wallet organization system and apparatus relating to wallet card differentiating tabs is disclosed. The tabs are configured to adhere to conventional cards contained in wallets with at least one adhesive surface. The tabs are equipped with a label which may be customized via included personalization, as well as a variety of colors, helping users rapidly differentiate between layered cards in a wallet, and provide for easy removal of the target card in need of removal from the wallet for use. A bendable portion of the tabs facilitates the use of wallet cards within magnetic strip readers and ATMs without removal of the tabs from the cards. The adhesive is configured to be reusable and durable.

The frame assembly includes: a side frame and corresponding side plates, pressing plates and fixing plates; for at least one group of corresponding side plate, pressing plate and fixing plate, a structure as follows is provided: the side frame is fixedly connected to the side plate; the fixing plate is fixed on the side frame, and an outer surface of the fixing plate is not higher than an outer surface of the side plate; the side frame is provided with an elastic pad located on an inner side of the fixing plate, and a projection of the side frame and a projection of the elastic pad in a plane of a side surface of the side plate of the backplane facing the pressing plate is located within the side surface of the side plate facing the pressing plate. A width of the frame assembly is only a thickness of the side plate of the backplane to achieve a narrow frame design of the display device.

Abstract: A unitary sheet-like merchandise labeling article that has a labeling tag flatly conjoined along a unifying flat bond zone with a flexible elastic layer that extends away from the tag and includes an elastic fastening loop. The loop sides that define the loop are wider than the thickness of the elastic layer. Further, the flexible elastic layer that extends away from the tag has a thickness greater than the thickness of the tag and has a dispersion zone adjacent the unifying flat bond zone. The dispersion zone allows dissipation of elastic loop in-line stretching forces sufficiently to reduce transmission of such forces into the bond zone.

Abstract: An enclosure for a portable computing device is disclosed. The enclosure includes an indicium (e.g., logo) positioned in an opening extending partially through the enclosure. The enclosure includes multiple material removal processes. First, a tool (e.g., laser ablation tool) can be used to ablate the opening defining an ablation having a shape or profile similar to that of the indicium. A second material removal process can remove a region within the ablation to define an indicium support. The second material removal process may be performed by a CNC cutting tool capable of forming the indicium support to a desired precision. As a result, when the indicium is secured with the indicium support, the indicium includes a desired flatness that prevents an undesired reflectivity. In order to ensure the indicium properly fits in the opening, a third material removal process may be performed to define an indention region around the opening.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a holding apparatus for holding a card. The holding apparatus comprises at least two proximity sensors, a control unit and a motor. Each of the at least two proximity sensors are configured to determine orientation of the card when the card is present in the holding apparatus. The control unit is configured to determine status of each of the at least two proximity sensors in order to determine a position of the holding apparatus. The status of the at least two proximity sensors is at least one of open and close. The control unit is further configured to transmit a control signal to the motor based on the determined status. The motor rotates the card upon receiving the control signal, thereby orienting the card with respect to a viewer of the card.
