  • Patent number: 5417364
Abstract: A double basket providing separate containers for a primary substance (e.g., French fries) and an associated condiment substance (e.g., catsup in a cup). The secondary basket has a small auxiliary wall supported by the principle basket's wall panel for juxtaposition along the primary basket's wall panel, but movable to a basket-open position away from that closed position. The auxiliary wall and its support arms provide, nevertheless, that in the closed-pocket condition the pocket components pose significantly no deterrence to what is provided to be a "nestable" stackable feature of a plurality of baskets.

  • Patent number: 5415213
Abstract: A one-piece molded flexible plastic material golf club headcover for use with a golf club, including a golf club head and shank, is disclosed. The golf club headcover includes a golf club headcover section for substantially surrounding the golf club head. A flexible and resilient restricted throat is formed in the golf club headcover section which has an internal dimension smaller than the golf club head such that upon insertion of the golf club head, the flexible and resilient restricted throat deforms and expands to allow passage of the golf club head into the golf club headcover section and subsequent return to its initial configuration. Locking elements are formed in the golf club headcover section independent of the flexible and resilient restricted throat for underlying the golf club head while releasably holding the golf club headcover section on the golf club head.

  • Patent number: 5413232
Abstract: A package for flowable goods includes an inner thin-walled plastic blown hollow body that receives the goods to be packaged and a supporting envelope without a bottom or a lid, with an upper stacking edge that surrounds the plastic hollow body and rests thereon in the packaging position. The plastic hollow body has a depression and the supporting envelope is provided with cut-outs that can be folded at least partially inward into the depression, that both act as fastening elements for the supporting elements, and form a handle for carrying the package. Engaging elements for the folded cut-outs are provided. In order to improve the link between the inner and outer package parts, the engaging elements form cams and are associated to an inclined projection formed in the plastic container in the pivoting area of the depression.

  • Patent number: 5396974
Abstract: Luggage cases, especially if they are large and bulky, usually have wheels and glides or legs to hold the case upright when loaded and permit the case to be pulled or wheeled. These same large cases present a large volume--an advantage when actually being used to carry clothing. However, this large volume is a disadvantage during packaging, storage and shipping after manufacture, such as between the factory and the store where it is sold. This large volume is a disadvantage also when the case is being stored by the owner between trips. Shown here is a case (10) with easily removable wheels (11) and feet (13). These external fittings attach to the outside of the luggage shell and have a projection (92) which extends to an aperture (90) in the wall of the case shell to the inside of the case. A manually releasable latch (96), such as a clip, engages and disengages this projection from the inside of the case to mount the wheel and leg to the outside of the case.

  • Patent number: 5377794
Abstract: A protective cover is foldable into a first configuration as a carrying case, and into a second configuration as an easel. Unfolded, the cover assumes a "T" shape, with first and second surfaces respectively defining the outer and inner surfaces of the carrying case. The cover has a longitudinal portion comprising first and second end sections and a central section, and a "cross-bar" portion comprising the first end section and a pair of flap portions extending laterally therefrom. Hook-and-loop fasteners are disposed on the cover so as to allow the first surface of the second end section to be folded onto and removably fastened to the second surface of the first end section, and the flap portions to be folded onto and removably fastened to the first surface of the central section, thereby forming the carrying case.
