The housing has an accommodating space and an opening communicated with the accommodating space. The hinge is slidably connected to the housing. The cover has an upper side, a lower side, and an outer surface. The lower side is pivotally connected to the hinge. When the locking member affixes the upper side to the housing and the hinge is in a first position relative to the housing, the cover is disposed between an environment space and the accommodating space, and the outer surface faces the environment space. When the locking member is released and the hinge moves to a second position relative to the housing, the cover leaves the position between the environment space and the accommodating space, and the outer surface faces the environment space.

The sliding member is movable along a first axis that is parallel to the base plane. The handle is movable along a second axis that is perpendicular to the base plane. The sliding member has a ramp surface and a wedge surface. The handle has a mating wedge surface. The ramp surface and the wedge surface are angularly oriented relative to the base plane. The ramp surface is angled to receive a first force, which is perpendicular relative to and directed towards the base plane. In response to the first force, the sliding member moves along the first axis and the wedge surface moves towards the mating wedge surface. The wedge surface moving towards the mating wedge surface causes a second force to deploy.

When the middle rail moves outwards from the initial position together with one of the node modules, the locking guiding lean edge drives the linking and interlocking rod to move to the locking position. At this time, the blocking locking edge of the middle rail corresponding to the other node module is blocked by the linking and interlocking rod located at the locking position, and the node module may not move outwards to realize locking.

    Abstract: A connector gap between a module connector mating surface and the backplane connector of a chassis may be eliminated through a mechanism that forcefully pushes (or pulls) the module towards the backplane and/or forcefully pushes (or pulls) the backplane toward the module. A spring-loaded or resilient element may be used to fasten the module in a way that effectively fills any designed-in and tolerance-induced gap in the connector interface, allowing the connector to fully seat. In addition, a gasket or other compressible member may be included at the connector mating interface. The gap in the connector interface may be reduced by introducing adjustable card cage members that are capable of being set during the assembly or manufacturing process using special alignment fixtures. The gap in the connector interface may also be reduced by introducing a higher tolerance capable manufacturing process, such as machining, to the card cage sub-assembly.

A tray supporting an expansion component has a guide block with a threaded aperture. The tray may be positioned between an open position and a closed position. The rotatable fastener mechanism moves the tray into and out of the bay housing. A rod is inserted through apertures of the first tab and the second tab, allowing free rotation of the rod. The rod includes a threaded exterior section to rotationally engage the threaded aperture of the guide block. A knob is attached to an end of the rod to allow a user to rotate the rod and move the tray.
