  • Patent number: 9407770
Abstract: A method and system for managing calls in an IMS network, comprising a server and a device client communicated through an IP interface used for notifying, from the device client to the server, a decision selected by a user for managing an incoming call in a destination device where the device client runs. The server is where the network logic resides, interfacing with the IMS network via an ISC interface and with the device client via a Web Service or HTTP interface. The device client is where the user's decision logic resides as it comprises a user interface that provides the user with a set of available decisions for managing the incoming calls. • Patent number: 9397802
Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems and techniques relating to wireless devices. A described technique includes generating respective frequency segments of a composite signal which are contiguous in a frequency domain, each of the respective frequency segments being based on a segment bandwidth; applying respective cyclic shift delay (CSD) phase shifts to the respective frequency segments to produce respective output signals; and transmitting the composite signal by transmitting signals that are based on the respective output signals. The respective CSD phase shifts, including first and second CSD phase shifts, are equivalent to third CSD phase shifts that correspond to a contiguous non-composite signal having a single frequency segment. A bandwidth of the single frequency segment is at least twice the segment bandwidth. The respective CSD phase shifts are applied such that a device receiving the composite signal uses the third CSD phase shifts that correspond to the contiguous non-composite signal.

  • Patent number: 9369917
Abstract: A system and method which improve the performance of a wireless transmission system by intelligent use of the control of the flow of data between a radio network controller (RNC) and a Node B. The system monitors certain criteria and, if necessary, adaptively increases or decreases the data flow between the RNC and the Node B. This improves the performance of the transmission system by allowing retransmitted data, signaling procedures and other data to be successfully received at a faster rate, by minimizing the amount of data buffered in the Node B. Flow control is exerted to reduce buffering in the Node B upon degradation of channel qualities, and prior to a High Speed Downlink Shared Channel (HS-DSCH) handover.

  • Patent number: 9338778
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for feeding back data receiving status, applied to a system, are provided. The method includes sequencing, by a User Equipment (UE), downlink subframes for transmitting data with respect to each Component Carrier (CC), generating receiving status feedback information for the first X downlink subframes with respect to each CC according to the result of the sequencing, where X?M, wherein M is the number of downlink subframes on each CC, and transmitting the receiving status feedback information generated with respect to each CC to a base station. Accordingly, the UE will not misinterpret the receiving status for the downlink subframes due to inconsistencies with the base station between transmitting and receiving feedback. This affects the Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) transmission, saves the uplink overheads occupied by the receiving status feedback information, and increases the uplink coverage area.

  • Patent number: 9325586
Abstract: A packet received by a network device is associated with a sequence number indicative of an order of transmission of the packet within a sequence of packets received by the network device. The network device determines whether the sequence number associated with the packet meets a first condition or a second condition for determining whether the packet is a duplicate of at least one other packet previously received by the network device. In response to determining that the sequence number meets the first condition, the network device deterministically determines whether the packet is a duplicate based on a record of previously received sequence numbers stored in a memory of the network device. In response to determining that the sequence number meets the second condition, the network device probabilistically determines whether the packet is a duplicate based on historical data maintained by the network device.
