  • Patent number: 10059276
Abstract: A bike carrier mounted on a drawbar for a trailer hitch receiver via a pivot mechanism that allows the carrier to pivot between an operational horizontal position and a compact vertical position. A slidable trigger bar extends from the pivot mechanism to the back of the carrier. Pulling the trigger bar from the back of the carrier releases the pivot mechanism, providing a convenient operating position. One or more add-on bike carrying tray assemblies may be attached to a first bike carrying tray assembly on the drawbar to hold multiple bikes. Each add-on tray assembly may have a respective slidable trigger bar that latches onto the trigger bar of the previous tray assembly. A pull on the trigger bar of the last add-on assembly releases the pivot mechanism. This operates the pivot mechanism from the back of the carrier.

  • Patent number: 10039367
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a back-mounted power tool system. The power tool system includes a battery package that can be used on other power tool systems, a backpack apparatus, a power tool, and a connecting member. The backpack apparatus includes a backpack harness to mount the backpack apparatus onto a user's body and a first connector to removably couple the battery package to the backpack apparatus. The power tool includes a motor driven by a power supply from the battery package. The connecting member transfers a weight of the power tool and/or a force received from the power tool to the backpack apparatus by rotatably coupling the power tool to the backpack apparatus. The connecting member further enables the power tool to rotate about a first rotation axis or a second rotation axis, the first rotation axis being perpendicular to the second rotation axis.

  • Patent number: 10040401
Abstract: A locking firearm holder that can be mounted in a vehicle; the holder employs a capture lever to lock or grip against the trigger guard of a firearm, such as a hand gun. The holder exhibits two stable states: a capture lever lock state or a capture lever unlock state. The method of switching between these two stable states is the same in either case: the user pushes against the firearm, along the axis of the firearm. This initial action by the user either locks the firearm in place, or unlocks the holder to allow the user to withdraw the firearm from the holder. The holder includes a withdrawal limiter to prevent premature re-locking as the firearm is being released. The holder includes a lock tab positioned near the locked firearm; the lock tab must be actuated to unlock the holder, thus preventing an accidental unlocking due solely to vibration.
