  • Patent number: 11886416
Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for reconfiguring a data table for processing on a server cluster. The method includes extracting a data table from a relational database and determining whether the data table includes a column having a range of values with a uniform distribution. The method also includes, in response to determining that the data table includes the column, classifying the column as a candidate column for splitting the data table. The method further includes, in response to determining that the data table does not include the column, inserting an index column into the data table and classifying the index column as the candidate column. The method further includes splitting the data table based on the candidate column and distributing each subdivision to a node of the server cluster so as to cause the server cluster to collectively process the data table.

  • Patent number: 11880721
Abstract: A method, including receiving, from a client, a unified query, and extracting, from the unified query, an endpoint query for a first data source on a first server and an endpoint query for a second data source on a second server. The extracted endpoint query for the first data source is forwarded to the first server. Upon receiving a response to the endpoint query forwarded to the first server, one or more parameters are extracted from the response. The endpoint query for the second data source is updated so as to include the extracted one or more parameters, and the updated endpoint query for the second data source is forwarded to the second server. Upon receiving, from the second server, a response to the forwarded endpoint query, a result for the received unified query is generated based on the receive responses, and the generated result is conveyed to the client.

  • Patent number: 11789942
Abstract: The disclosed architecture leverages realtime continuous event processing (CEP) to address using a general input interface framework to import a dynamic set of event types (e.g., assets), and using a declarative, expressive query model to implement monitoring and management tasks on an asset level. This is in contrast to looking separately at single values from static databases and/or realtime streams as is common conventionally. The architecture uses the CEP data model to model assets as realtime event types. Thus, queries can be formulated per asset and not just per single stream. The architecture uses the query capabilities of CEP to formulate asset management and monitoring tasks as standing, declarative queries, and uses the input interface of a CEP platform to correlate data from different data sources with different dynamic properties.

  • Patent number: 11782997
Abstract: Various aspects describe an information platform for consistently integrating and/or quantifying the underlying principles of ESG into financial analyses, analytical tools, metrics, and/or available information on reviewed companies, business entities, etc. . . . , and further provide integration of analysis with community-based insight, contextual information and tools for readily understanding both. Various embodiments implement machine learning tools for curating data sources and incorporating the data sources into the knowledge platform. The incorporation of AI moderated information sources enables succinct views of often massive information pools, and further provides for transitions between types of information (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, and interactive data source (e.g., engagements, collaborative information, etc.)).

  • Patent number: 11782783
Abstract: Techniques are provided for neutralizing replication errors. An operation is executed upon a first storage object and is replicated as a replicated operation for execution upon a second storage object. A first error may be received for the replicated operation. Instead of transitioning to an out of sync state and aborting the operation, a wait is performed until a result of the attempted execution of the operation is received. If the first error is the same as a second error returned for the operation, then the operation and replicated operation are considered successful and a synchronous replication relationship is kept in sync. If the first error and the second error are different errors, then an error response is returned for the operation and the synchronous replication relationship is transitioned to out of sync.

  • Patent number: 11782926
Abstract: Embodiments utilize trained query performance machine learning (QP-ML) models to predict an optimal compute node cluster size for a given in-memory workload. The QP-ML models include models that predict query task runtimes at various compute node cardinalities, and models that predict network communication time between nodes of the cluster. Embodiments also utilize an analytical model to predict overlap between predicted task runtimes and predicted network communication times. Based on this data, an optimal cluster size is selected for the workload. Embodiments further utilize trained data capacity machine learning (DC-ML) models to predict a minimum number of compute nodes needed to run a workload. The DC-ML models include models that predict the size of the workload dataset in a target data encoding, models that predict the amount of memory needed to run the queries in the workload, and models that predict the memory needed to accommodate changes to the dataset.

  • Patent number: 11762860
Abstract: Database systems may dynamically management concurrency levels for performing queries. A query may be received at a database system and a memory usage for the query may be predicted. A determination may be made as to whether available memory is enough to satisfy the predicted memory usage for the query. If the available memory is enough to satisfy the predicted memory usage for the query, then an increase in a concurrency level for performing queries at the database system may be made. The query may be allowed to execute concurrently with other queries according to the increased concurrency level.

  • Patent number: 11741134
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with migrating key-value data to a relational database. A method comprises retrieving a namespace from a key-value store and querying the key-value store for all kinds associated with the namespace. For a first kind, retrieving all entities associated with the namespace and the first kind and generating an entity list including an entry for each of the entities retrieved and the corresponding entity data. The entity list is traversed to identify each property name and associated property value. A relational database model is generated including a table based on the namespace and kind. Columns are defined in the table corresponding to each property name from the entity list. Data from each entity is then inserted into a table row and each property value from the entity is mapped to a corresponding column that is defined with the corresponding property name.
