  • Patent number: 11707600
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide for maintaining a level set of a pulmonary artery catheterization apparatus that includes a pulmonary artery pressure sensor in communication with a pulmonary artery catherization manifold affixed to a pulmonary artery catheter. The method includes calibrating leveling of the pulmonary artery pressure sensor (at the level of the right atrium) with the pulmonary artery catheterization manifold by recording a vertical level of a leveling base positioned at a common level to the manifold, relative to a vertical level of a leveling sensor positioned at a common level to the pulmonary artery pressure sensor. The method further includes monitoring a difference between the recorded vertical level of the leveling base relative to the vertical level of the leveling sensor. Finally, the method includes generating an alert in a user interface element of the leveling sensor in response to the monitored difference exceeding a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11704991
Abstract: Disclosed is a power failure detection device and method capable of issuing a power failure alert early. The device includes a voltage reduction circuit, a detection voltage generating circuit, a detection circuit, and a transmitting circuit. The voltage reduction circuit is or includes at least one active electronic component, and generates an output voltage according to an input voltage higher than the output voltage. The detection voltage generating circuit is coupled between the voltage reduction circuit and a low voltage terminal, and generates a detection voltage according to the output voltage that is between the output voltage and the voltage of the low voltage terminal. The detection circuit generates a detection result according to the detection voltage and a trigger voltage. The transmitting circuit sends a power failure alert to a far-end device on condition that the detection result indicates that the detection voltage is lower than the trigger voltage.

  • Patent number: 11688263
Abstract: This document describes techniques and devices to detect and classify human and animal presence and/or motion based on changes in the interaction of the human or animal with Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) radio frequency (RF) signals within or about a building structure, such as a home or office. A first WLAN device transmits a sounding packet to a second WLAN device and receives an acknowledgement (ACK) of receiving the sounding packet by the second WLAN device. The first WLAN device uses the received ACK to determine Channel State Information (CSI) for an RF signal path between the first WLAN device and the second WLAN device, aggregates the determined CSI with additional CSI, and uses the aggregated CSI to determine a presence or a motion within the structure.

  • Patent number: 11676713
Abstract: A data processing system digitally processes data feeds of inhaler device operation. The data feed represents operation of an inhaler device. The system indexes the live data feed with a key value representing the inhaler device for which the live data feed is obtained. For a particular key value indexed in the in-memory data storage, the system queries, a data feed representing physical operation of an inhaler device, segments the live data feed for that particular key value into a plurality of data samples, process at least a portion of the data samples to classify each of the processed data samples; outputs a prompt specifying whether operation of the inhaler device is within a threshold range of operation. Audio data, temperature data, image data, and ranging data can be processed to classify operation of the inhaler device and the order of operations of the inhaler device.

  • Patent number: 11636749
Abstract: A drowsiness sign notification system applied to a vehicle includes a driver monitor and a controller. The driver monitor detects a driver state being a state of a driver of the vehicle. The controller executes a drowsiness sign determination process that determines whether or not the driver shows a drowsiness sign based on the driver state. When it is determined that the driver shows the drowsiness sign, the controller executes a first drowsiness sign notification process that gives a first drowsiness sign notice to the driver through display or vibration without using audio. When it is determined again that the driver shows the drowsiness sign after the first drowsiness sign notification process, the controller executes a second drowsiness sign notification process that gives a second drowsiness sign notice to the driver through audio.
