  • Patent number: 7661913
Abstract: A hole saw includes a depth stop for limiting the depth of penetration of the hole saw into a workpiece. The blade of the hole saw includes a plurality of slots, one of which is used to receive the depth stop. The depth stop is mounted to the blade by positioning a portion of the depth stop within the slot and sliding the depth stop from an unsecured position to a secured position. Once in the secured position, a locking member is moved within the depth stop to secure the depth stop in place. In use, the blade is advanced through the workpiece until the depth stop contacts the proximal surface of the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 7648315
Abstract: A lock body in a locked state is inserted radially inward of an outer surface. A stopper body in a contact state holds the lock body in an unlocked state. The stopper body in a non-contact state is retracted from the lock body. A pressing body is switchable between a standby state and a retracted state. The pressing body in the standby state selectively contacts a central shaft when an insertion portion is inserted in a support cylinder. The pressing body in the retracted state is retracted from the stopper body. An urging member urges the pressing body into the standby state, and urges the stopper body into the contact state. The urging member detachably engages the pressing body to the stopper body. Thus, the structure of the cutter holder is simple.

  • Patent number: 7637702
Abstract: There is provided a drilling method capable of improving machining accuracy of a printed board drilling apparatus as a whole by decreasing dispersion of the machining accuracy even if it is a multi-spindle printed board drilling apparatus. A misalignment of an axial center of a drill with respect to a designed axial center in X and Y directions is detected in advance per a certain number of revolutions of each spindle that rotates the drill. Holes of two or more types of diameter are made on a printed board by making holes of at least one diameter, e.g., an exposure master hole, per each spindle and by making holes of all other diameters almost simultaneously by all of the spindles.

  • Patent number: 7621702
Abstract: A timing element for a lubricant supply system is capable of using pneumatics for the time of delivery of lubricant for a preset duration. In one example, the timing element has a cavity having an entrance and an exit, a first piston and a second piston. The first piston and the second piston are disposed in the cavity. The first piston is coupled to the second piston in such that compressed air in the entrance of the cavity is capable of moving the second piston and closing the exit. A pneumatic timing element may be incorporated into a dosing unit that is capable of supplying an amount of lubricant in a mist to a plunger bushing of a machine tool without.
