  • Patent number: 11016457
Abstract: A supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system includes an input/output (I/O) management system in communication with a SCADA application and multiple SCADA devices. The I/O management system is configured to receive multiple request messages, and for each of the messages, forward the request message to a device driver associated with the SCADA device, and establish an asynchronous connection for communicating with the SCADA device. The I/O management system then receives request message data associated with the request message from the device driver, and forwards the request message data to the SCADA device through the asynchronous connection. When response message data is received from the SCADA device, the I/O management system forwards the response message data to the device driver for generating a response message. When response message is received from the device driver, the I/O management system forwards the response message to the SCADA application.

  • Patent number: 11010504
Abstract: Design of lattice structures for additive manufacturing The present embodiments relate to additive manufacturing, such as three-dimensional printing. By way of introduction, the present embodiments described below include methods and systems for designing, modeling and manufacturing lattice structures. Lattice cells are modeled as parametrized representative unit cell (RUC) models providing a virtual material characterization for a lattice structure. The parametrized RUC models include phase functions for the virtual material characterization and identification of corresponding normalized material curves fit with polynomial functions for each lattice cell structure. Parametrized lattice models with underlying normalized lattice material curves provide design and simulation of true lattice material behavior for use in topology optimization.

  • Patent number: 10996638
Abstract: An apparatus for configuring validation, estimation, and editing (VEE) rules for performing VEE on interval-based energy consumption streams includes a data stores, a rules processor, and a process control element. The stores provides tagged data sets each associated with a corresponding one of the streams, each of the sets comprising groups of contiguous interval values tagged as having been validated. The rules processor reads the stores upon initiation of an event and, for the each of the sets, creates anomalies having different durations using only the groups of values, the groups of values corresponding to correct data, and generates estimates for the anomalies by employing estimation techniques for each of the durations and, for the each of the durations, selects a corresponding one of the techniques for subsequent employment when performing VEE of subsequent energy consumption data associated with the each of the durations for the corresponding one of the streams.
