  • Patent number: 11051494
Abstract: A bird feeding system that can be filled after pressing a release button on a cap assembly connected to a body that includes a reservoir. The cap assembly may be opened to provide access to the reservoir. A lid of the cap assembly is released by depressing a first side of the release button. The lid is moved from a closed position to an open position using a bias of a spring assembly upon the release of the lid. The lid moves from the closed position to the open position along a rotation path created by a hinge at a second side. The lid is held in the open position by the spring bias, and the open position provides access to the reservoir through the cap opening. Birdseed is received through the cap opening into the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 11044894
Abstract: A terrarium including a base, a support column, a top, and one or more panels with a closure is provided. The base can include a base channel, and the top can include a top channel. The top can be supported by the support column above the base. A panel can extend between the top and the base, being disposed in the top channel and the base channel, and forming an opening. Another panel can form a closure over the opening, with that panel optionally slidable to selectively access an internal compartment of the terrarium. A floater projection can be included on the closure panel and can engage a support rim on the base channel so as to support the panel and reduce friction of the panel moving relative to the base channel, for example, by supporting the panel above a channel bottom wall. Related methods of use are provided.

  • Patent number: 11019774
Abstract: The present invention is a plant cultivation device. The water tank supplies cultivation water to the cultivation tank via an irrigation conduit. The water tank also suctions cultivation water from the cultivation tank via a water-sucking pipe. The heat-collecting part receives sunlight, and the pressure of air that is heated inside the air-storage part presses the surface of the water inside the water tank. The water tank supplies cultivation water that has been pressed by the air to a culture medium material. The heat-collecting part raises the surface of the water inside the water tank as a result of the heated air being cooled by a decrease in the sunlight. The water tank suctions cultivation water from a bottom section of the cultivation tank.

  • Patent number: 11013168
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for analyzing soil samples. Accordingly, soil sample units may be obtained and provided to a server that generates raw data. The raw data is sent to a database, where it is downloaded. The raw data is subsequently organized into a sub-report for each nutrient or variable contained in the raw data. An average for each nutrient in the raw data and a number of additional factors related to the raw data may be calculated. The average and additional factors are used to determine bulk recommendations by comparing target data to an exchangeable measured value. Additionally, the factors are also used to determine challenges and solutions by comparing the average data to the target data for each nutrient. The system compares the raw data to the measured values and mathematically adjusts the compared values to compute an optimal treatment algorithm.

  • Patent number: 10980227
Abstract: A hunting decoy designed to conceal a sportsman hunting wild game animals, especially wild turkeys. The hunting decoy includes a flat panel frame having a forward-facing surface for supporting a decoy image of an animal thereon. The frame has a sight window formed therein and a mounting aperture formed therein disposed beneath the sight window. The sight window defines a hunter's line-of-sight substantially perpendicular to the forward-facing surface of the frame. The mounting aperture is dimensioned to slidably receive therethrough a support member of a hunting weapon, such as the barrel of a hunting gun, so that a compressible mounting member, such as a rubber grommet, in the mounting aperture fixedly mounts the frame on the support member substantially perpendicular to the hunter's line-of-sight.

  • Patent number: 10980198
Abstract: Plants are grown in adjacent rows of trays that are rotated within a pool of a nutrient solution. The roots of the plants are at least partly immersed in the nutrient solution. Each row includes a gap wide enough to receive a single tray from an adjacent row. Using three rows, the plants are planted only in one of the rows, and later the rotation is used to space the planted trays one tray apart. Each tray is a parallelepipedal block with apertures for supporting respective plants. The long sides of the blocks have protrusions for preventing adhesion of the blocks. Airlift pumping circulates the nutrient solution past the roots and maintains at least 80% dissolved oxygen saturation in the nutrient solution. A screen of parallel inflatable tubes provides adjustable shade above the pool.
