A polling server is in communication with the at least one agent with the at least one agent communicating over a subscribed bus. A portal bridge is in communication with the bus and communicates through a client's firewall to a Network System. A server includes or is coupled to a database of anomies and time series data.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for content sharing, where the method includes: receiving a content share request, establishing a share session with a receiving terminal, and sharing session content, which is played on a first initiating terminal, with the receiving terminal; and receiving a state notification about transferring the played session content from the first initiating terminal to a second initiating terminal, and according to the state notification, ending the share session or continuing to share the session content continuously played on the second initiating terminal. According to the embodiments of the present invention, CoD content watched on the initiating terminal can be shared, and when transfer occurs between display terminals of the content share initiator, a content share AS can perceive the transfer, and continuity of the share session can be ensured. The present invention further relates to a device for content sharing.

Abstract: A method, system and program for uploading a resource from remote storage to a remote service. The method comprises the steps of connecting to the remote service, initiating an upload of the resource to the remote service, selecting the remote storage as a source of the resource, acquiring the resource from the remote storage, and uploading the resource to the remote service. In one embodiment, at least part of the method is executed by a proxy server and the step of acquiring the resource from the remote storage comprises downloading the resource to the proxy server. In another embodiment, the remote service communicates directly with the remote storage. In this further embodiment, a client device acquires authentication data for the resource from the remote storage and the step of acquiring the resource from the remote storage includes providing the authentication data to the remote storage.

Abstract: An approach is provided for providing routing calculations and route guidance based on geographic positioning and/or other sensor data from one or more mobile devices independent of map data. A routing platform processes and/or facilitates a processing of one or more probe data samples associated with at least one mobile device to determine one or more device tracks. The routing platform processes and/or facilitates a processing of the one or more device tracks to determine at least one tessellation, wherein the at least one tessellation is a subdivision of a plane or sphere into one or more tiles and a plurality of segments. The routing platform further determines one or more relationships between one or more of the plurality of segments based, at least in part, on a mapping of the one or more device tracks against the at least one tessellation.

Abstract: A provider network for providing continuous workflow service for an open-ended number of workflows using non-persistent threads. In some cases, the provider network includes a workflow handling service and a workflow evaluation service. The workflow handling service may receive indications of task completion events related to respective workflows, and in turn may send non-blocking requests for workflow decisions from the workflow evaluation service. In generating a workflow decision, the workflow evaluation service may determine resources for executing a workflow evaluation thread for generating the workflow decision. Further, a given workflow evaluation thread may determine a workflow decision without relying on a previously stored state for a state machine corresponding to the workflow. In this way, a given workflow decision may be determined on different allocated resources at different points in time in maintaining the workflow.

Abstract: A message identifier collector may collect message identifiers identifying sent messages having been sent by originating devices and identifying received messages of the sent messages that have been received at corresponding recipient devices. A message identifier matcher may match a sent message identifier for a sent message of the sent messages with a received message identifier for a corresponding received message of the received messages at a corresponding recipient device, and a delivery notification generator may send a delivery notification to an originating device of the originating devices that originally sent the sent message, thereby indicating receipt of the message at the corresponding recipient device. A delivery notification network path along which the message identifiers and the delivery notification are sent is different from a message delivery network path along which the message is sent.

Abstract: In some examples, a service controller provisions an instance of a cloud service in response to receiving a request, where the service controller is provided with content including a call to be issued by the service controller to a compliance/monitoring service that performs a task selected from among monitoring the provisioned instance and determining compliance of the provisioned instance. The service controller issues the call to the compliance/monitoring service, the call including information regarding the provisioned instance, wherein the information is useable by the compliance/monitoring service in performing the task.

Abstract: A router has a shape graph that is a compressed form of a trie that represents routing information for routing data packets in a network, and an update data structure that includes plural entries corresponding to nodes of the shape graph, the plural entries containing count values indicating respective numbers of nodes of the tie represented by the corresponding nodes of the shape graph. The router incrementally updates the shape graph as a portion of the routing information changes, where the incremental updating uses information in the update data structure.

Abstract: Techniques for synthetic transactions between communication endpoints are described. According to various embodiments, a synthetic transaction represents a simulation of a communication session between different communication endpoints. In at least some embodiments, performance attributes of a synthetic transaction may be recorded during various stages of the synthetic transaction. Based on the performance attributes, various actions may be taken to mitigate errors and optimize communication session performance.

Abstract: Embodiments include method, systems and computer program products for enhanced storage clients. In some embodiments, an interface for using a storage service may be provided. The interface for each of a plurality of storage services may be implemented within a storage client. A cache may be integrated within the storage client for reducing a number of accesses to a storage service of the plurality of storage services. A compression method may be provided in the storage client to reduce a size of data objects. An encryption method may be provided in the storage client to preserve data privacy. Abstract: A system and method are provided for sharing data and/or objects between electronic devices via an IMS infrastructure. First and second applications of first and second electronic devices exchange a capability via the IMS infrastructure. The capability is defined by a developer of the first application. The capability is not defined in the UCE standard. The capability relates to a data structure describing a status of one of the applications. An IMS connection is established between the applications via the IMS infrastructure. Either data relating to a status of the first application stored in the data structure is sent to the second application via the IMS connection, or data relating to a status of the second application stored in the data structure is received at the first application via the IMS connection.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses of classifying user information and obtaining user group information, which mainly include: obtaining, by an instant messaging server, an entity data unit posted by a first user from a target database; matching conversation information generated between a second user and the first user through an instant messaging client with the entity data unit; and determining user group information of the first user to which user information of the second user corresponding to the conversation information belongs based on a matching result, where the user group information of the first user is determined according to attribute information and/or name information of the entity data unit posted by the first user.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a policy control method and system, and a relevant apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a policy decision apparatus, a control policy request sent by a gateway device, where the control policy request carries a subscriber identifier; sending, by the policy decision apparatus, a session request message carrying the subscriber identifier to a charging system; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a response message; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a notification message sent through an established session by the charging system, and generating a service data flow control policy according to information of an occurred charging relevant event; and sending, by the policy decision apparatus, the control policy to the gateway device. The method may implement, based on charging relevant information of a subscriber, policy control of a data flow, flexibility is desirable, and service experience of the subscriber is good.
