Abstract: A map database stores data describing a set of connected roadways, each having one or more lanes. A coverage system selects lanes from the map database along which AVs can stop, such as parking lanes. The coverage system generates buffer regions for each of the stopping lanes, where each buffer region includes an area within a given distance of the respective lane. The coverage system combines the buffer regions to generate a coverage area, and provides a display of the coverage area overlayed over a map of roads corresponding to the coverage area.

Abstract: A workflow presentation receives electronic object from multiple sources, such as electronic messaging systems and document management systems. The system develops a hypergraph representation of the objects in which the objects appear, individually or in clusters, as edges along various rails of the hypergraph. Each rail represents a workstream to provide a visual representation of the electronic objects that are associated with one or more workstreams of a project.

Abstract: An image display device configured to display, on a display screen, a predetermined image captured in a state in which multiple components to be mounted on a board are held by a mounting head, including: a display control section configured to selectably display, on the display screen, relevant information relating to the multiple components in association with each component, together with the predetermined image, and when a predetermined operation involving selection of any of the relevant information is performed by an operator, display an enlarged image of one component corresponding to the selected relevant information of the predetermined image being displayed.

Abstract: Orthodontic devices such as aligners, palatal expanders, retainers, and dental implants can be used to adjust the position of teeth and to treat various dental irregularities. To help the clinician or doctor (i.e., orthodontist) design and plan the subject's treatment plan, a 3D digital model of the subject's teeth, dentition, and gingiva can be constructed from a 3D scan of the subject's mouth, teeth, dentition, and gingiva. The 3D model of the subject's teeth and dentition can be displayed graphically to the doctor on a display using a computing system with memory and software.

Abstract: A graphical planner allows a user to create or select, and then display, images that represent tasks and events to be completed by the user, as well as corresponding images that represent tasks and events that the user has already completed. The graphical planner allows a user to plan and schedule events and tasks by indicating an event or task in a non-textual (i.e., graphic or symbolic) manner. Completion of the events and tasks by the user can also be signaled or otherwise indicated in a non-textual (e.g., visual, audible) manner.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards real time display of event records with an indication of previously provided extraction rules. A plurality of extraction rules may be provided to the system, such as automatically generated and/or user created extraction rules. These extraction rules may include regular expressions. A plurality of event records may be displayed to the user, such that text in a field defined by an extraction rule is emphasized in the display of the event record. The same emphasis may be provided for text in overlapping fields, or the emphasis may be somewhat different for different fields. The user interface may enable a user to select a portion of text of an event record, such as by rolling-over or clicking on an emphasized part of the event record. By selecting the portion of the event record, the interface may display each extraction rule associated with the selected portion.

Abstract: A CAD model comprises an entity comprising an input face comprising a normal direction. Via user input, a translation for the input face in the normal direction is obtained. From the CAD model, a list of faces parallel to the input face is automatically determined. From the list of faces, a snap face comprising a distance along the normal direction to the current position of the input face which is minimal over the list of faces is automatically selected, without acquiring the snap face via user input. Via a visualization means, a snap plane comprising the snap face, and either a coplanar alignment of the input face in the snap plane; or a distance indicator from the input face to the snap plane, are automatically displayed. Via user input, validation of the coplanar alignment or a numerical value for the distance indicator is obtained. The entity is automatically adjusted accordingly.

Abstract: In various examples, a gaze direction of a user's eyes may be tracked and synced with perception data of the vehicle to determine POIs that the user is interested in. In some examples, POIs may be stored as waypoints in a waypoint catalog or store and included as part of a map. As a user is driving in a vehicle down a roadway, a system onboard the vehicle may access the map to determine locations of the vehicle, and may reference the waypoint catalog to determine the POIs that the vehicle passes. Using an advertiser name, contact information, an advertisement image, advertiser website information, links to additional content, etc. relating to each waypoint, a log of the passed POIs may be stored for access by the user.

Abstract: A design engine implements a probabilistic approach to generating designs that exposes automatically-generated design knowledge to the user during operation. The design engine interactively generates successive populations of designs based on a problem definition associated with a design problem and/or a previously-generated population of designs. During the above design process, the design engine generates a design knowledge graphical user interface (GUI) that graphically exposes various types of design knowledge to the user. In particular, the design engine generates a design variable dependency GUI that visualizes various dependencies between designs variables. The design engine also generates a design evolution GUI that animates the evolution of designs across the successive design populations. Additionally, the design engine generates a design exploration GUI that facilitates the user exploring various statistical properties of automatically-generated designs.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a method for navigating an avatar based on time zones. A global event is identified that begins at a particular time on a given date; a sequential list of time zones associated with a plurality of geographical locations is retrieved; and a current time at a first time zone of the sequential list of time zones is determined to have reached the particular time on the given date. In response, an avatar is generated for display on a map at a first of the plurality of geographical locations associated with the first time zone and is navigated to a second geographical location when a current time at a second time zone, associated with the second geographical location, reaches the particular time on the given date.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes presence detection circuitry for detecting an individual in proximity to the display apparatus; a display for displaying video content and a user interface; a processor in communication with the user input circuitry, the display, and the search history database; and non-transitory computer readable media in communication with the processor that stores instruction code. The instruction code is executed by the processor and causes the processor to: a) determine, from the presence detection circuitry, a user in proximity of the display apparatus; b) determine one or more program types associated with the user; c) determine available programs that match the predicted one or more programs; and d) update the user interface to depict a listing of one or more of the available programs that match the predicted one or more programs.
