  • Patent number: 11722564
Abstract: A multi-path input-output (MPIO) driver in a host server reduces host-copy migration data transmission rate based on decrease in foreground IO response time. A baseline foreground IO response time measured before commencement of the host-copy migration is compared with a reference foreground IO response time measured after commencement of the host-copy migration. Increase in the foreground IO response time, expressed as a percentage or time value, that satisfies a predetermined limit will trigger reduction of the host-copy migration data transmission rate. The reference foreground IO response time is repeatedly measured and updated each time the host-copy migration data transmission rate is decreased.

  • Patent number: 11706159
Abstract: A novel design of a gateway that handles traffic in and out of a network by using a datapath pipeline is provided. The datapath pipeline includes multiple stages for performing various data-plane packet-processing operations at the edge of the network. The processing stages include centralized routing stages and distributed routing stages. The processing stages can include service-providing stages such as NAT and firewall. The gateway caches the result previous packet operations and reapplies the result to subsequent packets that meet certain criteria. For packets that do not have applicable or valid result from previous packet processing operations, the gateway datapath daemon executes the pipelined packet processing stages and records a set of data from each stage of the pipeline and synthesizes those data into a cache entry for subsequent packets.

  • Patent number: 11699360
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods that aid users with hearing and/or speech impediments to have a conversation with a remote phone number without human assistance. In one aspect, an application residing on a user's device, such as a smartphone, tablet computer, laptop, etc., may be used to initiate a phone call to a recipient. Upon initiating the phone call locally, a service residing on the server may receive a request to initiate a connection to the recipient. Once the recipient answers, the user may converse with the recipient by providing text input to their local app. The text input may be transmitted to the service. The service may use a text to speech converter to translate the received text to speech that can be delivered to the recipient.

  • Patent number: 11688024
Abstract: The LOCATION-CONSCIOUS SOCIAL NETWORKING APPARATUSES, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS (“LCSN”) transforms user personality and location inputs via LCSN components into match and transaction outputs. LSCN may be a processor-implemented method for location-conscious social networking, involving collecting personality details pertaining to a user, analyzing the personality details and constructing a personality profile for the user. The LCSN may also collect geolocation information from the user and compare it to geolocation data from other users, may use user personality profiles to calculate a compatibility rating between the user and other users, and may send an alert to users if the geolocation data indicates that the user is within a specified distance of another user, and/or if the users are matches for each other. Users may further be able to express anonymous interest in other users by anonymously rating potential matches.

  • Patent number: 11683370
Abstract: A backend computing system may receive first data from a first computing system, where the first data may be an encrypted version of second data that has been generated at the first computing system based on a command at the first computing system. The backend computing system may identify a second computing system different than the first computing system based on a status of the second computing system, and may send the first data to the second computing system to enable the second computing system to decrypt the first data and perform a function with respect to the second data. In some embodiments, the first computing system may generate padded data by adding data to the second data, and send the padded data to the backend computing system. In some embodiments, the first computing system may send random data to the backend computing system.

  • Patent number: 11683363
Abstract: When a user exploits virtualization software and navigates through or to a redirected client drive in a remote session then the file management application may refresh the directory/folder content very slowly, spending significantly more time than expected according to the amount of data, network speed and latency. Whilst this refreshing is being performed no actions with the file management application can be performed by the user. Accordingly to address this a system or method are provided that cache metainformation for files, folders, and subfolders, e.g. upon a network resource, in a driver which responds to a query directory and other related requests by filling a provided buffer with the cached data. Further, this driver may filter out some particular files from the results if a filtering option is selected to further reduce latency.
