Abstract: A collapsible bag or pouch for collecting samples of soil, mud, liquid and gases, having an internal mechanical seal and a heat sealable area near the opening that is protected during sample loading, preferably by a funnel detachable from the pouch. After loading and prior to heat sealing the pouch is secured from the outside by mechanical interlocking seal. The bag also has an air-tight port for sampling the gaseous headspace after the bag is sealed.

Abstract: A tool carrier for use with ATVs, snow mobiles, and other similar vehicles. The tool carrier allows for quick storage or removal of the tool from the vehicle for use. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is intended to hold an ice auger by the auger rod, however any tool with a long rod-like portion could be held using the carrier. Clamp assemblies automatically disengage a clamp from the tool when a pull is disengaged from the clamp, and are automatically locked in place by the pull when the clamp is manually reset.

Abstract: The disclosed technology is a secure-cell apparatus for releasably securely associating a device, such as a cellular phone, with a device user. The device is configured to clamp to a support structure such as a strap, belt, seatbelt, and suspenders. The secure-cell apparatus my further define a zone for storing items such as keys, cards, IDs, etc. Such “zone” may further define a personality interface configured to receive a personality module. Personality modules are in electrical communication with an electronic device associated with the secure-cell apparatus and may add additional functionality to such electronic device.

Abstract: A carrier apparatus for a vehicle is disposed on a bumper back beam in the rear part of a vehicle. The carrier apparatus normally is not exposed externally, and is withdrawn from the bumper back beam such that a bicycle can be loaded thereon when the bicycle is required to be loaded. It is thereby possible to preserve a vehicle's aesthetic exterior appearance and improve convenience. When the carrier is withdrawn, the license plate and the fixing bar rotate in concert with each other. When the carrier is retracted, the fixing bar and the license plate are folded together. Consequently, convenience is further increased, thereby improving the marketability of the carrier apparatus.

Abstract: Installable and removable inserts for pocket folders and their method of manufacturer are shown and described. Inserts have spaced part divider panels which are anchored to a base plate or form a base plate. In one embodiment, a single plate divider also forms the base and one upright divider while another element with two dividers is bonded to the base. In another embodiment two separate upright dividers are bonded together at a common upright wall and the pair is then bonded to a base. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A tool holder assembly for a watercraft and other applications employs a base assembly which is radially expandable to engage the inner surface of a cup holder or similar structure. The upper portion of the tool holder assembly includes a container and a multitude of thin rods which engage and press against tools inserted into the container. A containment net is placed over the projecting top portions of the tools and is secured by clips which engage retainers mounted at the top portion of the container. The tool holder assembly is installed by relative rotation between the upper portion and the base assembly.

Abstract: A masonry tool cleaning and storage device may include one or more bins capable of holding water and adapted to hang from the sides of a conventional wheel barrow. The bins may or may not have lids, which may or may not be attached to the bins. The device may optionally include a combined drying table and water return surface adapted to route water, e.g. dripping from wet tools, back to the water bins. The drying table may include a grated surface that is more or less horizontal while assembled in a working configuration. The grated surface may be above a downwardly sloped surface adapted to return water that has fallen through the grated surface back to the bins. When work is complete, the bins may be emptied of water, cleaned, and used for tool storage.

Abstract: A reclosable zipper pouch includes a flange in covering relation to a portion of a first wall panel extending between a first zipper profile member and a mouth, when viewed from the open mouth, to provide difficulty to a child to open the pouch, and remain easy for an adult or senior citizen to open the pouch.

Abstract: The bag may include a draw tape that may be used to cinch closed the opening of the bag. The draw tape has at least one stretched elastomeric strip attached to the draw tape in an extended condition. The draw tape may be smaller in size than the bag sidewalls. The draw tape may include an elastic characteristic, such as patterned ribs. In one embodiment, the roll of bag is kept under tension to maintain the elastomeric strips in a stretched condition.

Abstract: A holster strap that allows for the attachment of a variety of holster types (thread-on, clip-on, paddle, as well as left and right holsters) to a backpack waist belt. The holster strap allows quick access and removal of a holster and includes a base and a strap. The base may be secured to the backpack waist belt and the strap secures the holster to the base. The strap may be stretchable and durable such that it may hold various size holsters with a heavy firearm, camera, or another item. The holster strap allows a holster to be quickly removed from a backpack waist belt and transferred to a belt when the backpack is removed.

Abstract: A bicycle mountable storage container is disclosed that includes mounting means for attaching the storage container to a bicycle, and a pair of doors on a top portion of the storage container. The storage container has an internal volume defined in party by opposing side walls, wherein the doors are movable from a closed position to an open position by generally moving away from each other, and subsequently down along the opposing side walls of the storage container.

Abstract: A roof rail retainer with an adapter component, has a fastening apparatus for mounting on a roof of a vehicle and a fastening device for mounting a roof rail of the vehicle. The fastening apparatus has a bolt element which is preferably provided with a thread and is surrounded by a compressible sealing ring. At least one supporting element is associated with the bolt element and on the one hand lies in contact with the adapter component or is connected to the adapter component, and on the other hand has at least one supporting surface which can be placed onto the roof of the vehicle. A thickness of the uncompressed sealing ring as viewed in an axial direction of the bolt element is greater than the supporting length of the supporting element.

Abstract: A reusable mailer bag includes a front panel, a rear panel, a pair of side panels, and a bottom panel. The panels together define a carrying volume including an opening opposite the bottom panel. A pair of handles are attached to an interior surface of the carrying volume and are configured for positioning entirely within the carrying volume during shipping. The pair of handles are configured to extend out of the opening to convert the reusable mailer bag for use as a carrying bag. A flap is attached to the rear panel at a first end and is configured to extend across the opening to close the opening. The flap is securable to the front panel at a second end by an adhesive strip. The flap is configured to be removed from the mailer bag after shipping.

Abstract: A hydration device has a flexible bladder constructed to have a plurality of expandable liquid receiving chambers that extend laterally across the width of the bladder and are spaced from one another along the length of the bladder. Liquid conveying tubes are in fluidic communication with liquid chambers. A coupling is fluidically connected to the tubes and includes a valve that operates to seal the coupling from the tubes. A drinking tube has a first end that is fluidically connected to the coupling thereby establishing a fluidic connection between the drinking tube and the tubes. A bite valve is connected to a second end of the drinking tube and is operable to allow a user to drink liquid from the chambers. The drinking tube may be secured to a user's wrist by a wrist strap.

The pocket panel has a lateral dimension greater than a lateral dimension of the major panel at at least one position to thereby define a laterally-extending gap therebetween, which enables expansion of the pocket.

Abstract: The present invention is an alignment device for a bag containing one or more ports. The alignment device is attached to either the one or more ports or to the bag adjacent the one or more ports. The plate has an indicator or a unique outer edge shape that is designed to fit into a corresponding unique opening in a holder to ensure proper alignment of the bag and its port(s) in the holder. The plate is has a series of holes equal to and in alignment with the one or more ports of the bag and the port(s) extend through the holes of the plate.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic drawstring trash bag wherein the thermoplastic drawstring trash bag has an enhanced thickness region in one or more panels of the drawstring trash bag. The enhanced thickness region has an average thickness that is greater than the thickness of the remaining portions of the panels forming the drawstring trash bag. The enhanced thickness region is generally in the area of the hems and traverses the hem seals.

Abstract: A woven laminated plastic bag having an easy open feature is provided. The easy open feature is generally defined by a weakened portion in the bag. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container having consumer friendly sides. The container has a front panel and a back panel, each having an exterior surface. A side sealed portion of the container is folded over and secured to the exterior surface of container. The side sealed portion having at least one angled portion. Securing the side sealed portion to the exterior surface of the container forms a smooth side with the portion of the container that is folded over, or flexed, to allow the side sealed portion to be secured to the front or back panel. A method for forming the container assembly, and a machine for manufacturing the container assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method of transporting a patient may include providing a medical pod having a pallet forming a floor structure and including sidewalls extending upwardly from the pallet to a roof section to form a container. The method may additionally include coupling a patient restraint system to the floor structure using a transport system located on the floor structure, and moving the patient restraint system from a first position to a second position using the transport system.
