    Abstract: A carrier apparatus for a vehicle is disposed on a bumper back beam in the rear part of a vehicle. The carrier apparatus normally is not exposed externally, and is withdrawn from the bumper back beam such that a bicycle can be loaded thereon when the bicycle is required to be loaded. It is thereby possible to preserve a vehicle's aesthetic exterior appearance and improve convenience. When the carrier is withdrawn, the license plate and the fixing bar rotate in concert with each other. When the carrier is retracted, the fixing bar and the license plate are folded together. Consequently, convenience is further increased, thereby improving the marketability of the carrier apparatus.
