Patent number: 11719521Abstract: A bullet seating die for use with an ammunition press to seat a bullet in a case includes a die housing having an ammunition press mount for mounting the bullet seating die on the ammunition press. The die housing defines a bullet receiving space having an open end and a side window in communication with the bullet receiving space. The side window sized and shaped to permit the bullet to be inserted therethrough to position the bullet in the bullet receiving space. A seating stem is supported by the die housing. The seating stem is arranged to engage the bullet to press the bullet into the case when the ammunition press is operated. A spring biases the seating stem away from the open end of the bullet receiving space to permit the bullet to be inserted through the side window and into the bullet receiving space.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2021Date of Patent: August 8, 2023Assignee: AOB PRODUCTS COMPANYInventors: Justin Burke, James Tayon, Michael Lindsay, Matthew Kinamore, Curtis Smith, Jarrod Grove, Michael Cottrell

Patent number: 11698239Abstract: A firearm includes a muzzle device. The muzzle device includes a muzzle adapter and a muzzle attachment. The muzzle attachment suppresses noise and/or redirects gases and recoil. The firearm utilizes recoil operation to cycle such that the barrel reciprocates inside a handguard of the firearm during cycling. The muzzle adapter is attached to the handguard and receives the barrel therein. The muzzle attachment is secured to the muzzle adapter such that the muzzle of the barrel remains longitudinally in the muzzle adapter during discharge and cycling of the firearm.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2022Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: EIGHT HOLDINGS LLCInventors: Teodor Puha, Cody Cohen

Patent number: 11698246Abstract: As described above, this new primer feed system is both accurate and consistent. The primer feed station begins by loading primers from the vendor packaging into the vibratory feed bowl via the primer chute. The bowl has an adjustable height polycarbonate guard that is inside the main safety polycarbonate doors and exits above the machine. The bowl then orients the primers open side up and discharges them into the primer track. Crimping can be done with 3 or 5 pins or a complete radial crimp. Previous versions of the crimp station on these crimping machines involved a pin mounted to the upper ram and a lower pin actuated by the lower ram. It was difficult to time and adjust properly for a consistent crimp. This new approach to crimping has proved much more reliable, accurate and easier to adjust. It still utilizes an upper pin mounted to the upper moving ram assembly but the lower pin is fixed.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2022Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: Bitteroot Tool & Machine Inc.Inventors: Randy J. Patent number: 11674781Abstract: The invention relates to bullets having increased frangibility (or which can be easily fragmented) and to powder materials and processes for the manufacture of such bullets. The bullets of the present invention are made from an iron alloy containing 75-81% Hoeganaes MH-100 Iron 0.6-0.09% Carbon, and balance of admixed Copper powder. Said bullets are then coated for lubricity so the bullet does not prematurely wear the barrel of a gun. Additionally, the invention provides a simple low cost process to make bullets that is amenable to mass production via automation.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2020Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: TPI Powder Metallurgy, Inc.Inventors: Stuart Yntema, Steven B.
