Abstract: A retainer assembly for an associated merchandising structure includes a planar divider mounted to the associated merchandising structure with the divider including a first side, a second side, a front end and a rear end. A first retainer is pivotally mounted to a first side of the divider adjacent the front end thereof. A second retainer is pivotally mounted to the second side of the divider adjacent the front end thereof. The first and second retainers are biased into an orientation normal to the plane of the divider. Each of the first and second retainers is adapted to pivot omnidirectionally in relation to the plane of the divider.

Abstract: A storage device comprising an extendable center piece slidingly-attached to one or more supports, the center piece including a slot that runs vertically through the center piece for at least a portion of a length of the center piece and providing a surface to support at least one hook, wherein the hook is disposed in the slot formed in the center piece and the hook extends through the slot and below the bottom surface of the center-piece, each hook providing an interface for hanging and storing an item within a cabinet or other suitable storage space.

Abstract: An anti-tip guide for a merchandising shelf including an associated support member for supporting at least one associated object for display and/or dispensing, and a pair of associated dividers mounted to the support member and spaced from each other. The pair of spaced dividers define between them a longitudinal pathway along which the associated at least one object can travel from a rear position to a front position on the associated support member. The anti-tip guide includes a first section mounted to one of the pair of associated dividers and extending along a plane of the one of the pair of associated dividers. A second section of the anti-tip guide protrudes away from the first section. A third section extends from the second section. At least one of the second and third sections includes a material which is more resilient than is a material of the first section.

Abstract: An inventory system for wire shelving is provided which includes a pivoting divider unit that subdivides individual bins of a shelving system into front and rear sections accessed through an open front side of the bin. The divider unit hinges between an upright position and a forwardly-lowered position. When fully stocked, the bin includes articles which are located in both the forward and rearward bin sections with the divider unit oriented in the upright position between adjacent articles. As articles are removed from the front bin section, eventually the divider unit is exposed. The divider unit is then manually tilted forwardly or lowered to allow continued removal of articles from the rear bin section. This lowered orientation of the divider unit indicates that the front bin section is now empty and restocking is due. The divider unit rotatably engages with the wire shelving and includes hinge clips which releasably lock the divider unit in the upright orientation.

The placement member is fixed to a rack main body and has a placement surface onto which an article is placed. The stopper is disposed at an end part of the placement member and restricts vibration of the article in a first horizontal direction. The stopper includes a base member fixed to the placement member, a projection member having a projection extending higher than the placement surface, and a viscoelastic member connecting the base member and the projection member within the placement member. The viscoelastic member generates a damping force when the viscoelastic member is deformed by the shear in the first horizontal direction.

Abstract: A modular storage system capable of mounting storage fixtures such as shelves, drawers, rods, desks, hampers, trash cans and the like in various configurations without the use of tools and fastener hardware. The system includes vertical side panels capable of being mounted to a horizontal support rail, which is attached to a wall, in various configurations allowing the system to be mounted and rearranged against the wall without the use of tools and hardware. The vertical side panels include a plurality of support cleats that mate with the storage fixtures and provide for self-locking of the storage fixtures in the system so that they can be mounted and rearranged without the use of tools and hardware.
