    Abstract: An electrical conduit fitting installation system and method of use for replacement of conduit fittings in existing installations and for new building construction is disclosed. The present system includes a plurality of electrical conduit fittings and couplings which are manufactured in mating half-sections that can be assembled by use of fasteners, gaskets and associated hardware. The use of such replacement conduit bodies of the present system allows replacement of a damaged conduit body of conventional unitary construction using standard tools without the need for disconnection and withdrawal of wiring from the conduit required to replace a conventional conduit body. The present system includes conduit bodies, couplings and accessory conduit components which are available in various configurations and standard sizes used in the industry.

    Abstract: A connector assembly including a connector body with a spring clip including a first free end for engaging a side wall of an electrical box upon installation. During insertion of the connector body the first free end engages the knock-out hole perimeter and deforms so as to permit further insertion. Once the connector body is fully inserted, the spring clip cooperates with a lug on the connector body to hold the connector assembly onto the electrical box. The connector body includes one or more spiral indentations for engaging a convolution of a metal cable. The spring clip biases the cable toward engagement with the spiral indentation to yield improved performance characteristics.

A bumper pole may be placed adjacent to the ground box and bonded to the grounding devices through the ground box. The system allows for the safe grounding of a number of facilities at a site without the necessity of placing separate grounding rods and connecting conductors for each facility.
