  • Patent number: 11830743
Abstract: A dry-state non-contact method for patterning of nanostructured conducting materials is disclosed. Short self-generated electron-emission pulses in air at atmospheric pressure can enable an electron-emission-based (field enhancement) interaction between a sharp tungsten tip and elements of the nanostructured materials to cause largely non-oxidative sequential decomposition of the nanostructured elements. Embodiments can employ a substrate/tip gap of 10 to 20 nm, discharge voltages of 25-30 V, and patterning speeds as fast as 10 cm/s to provide precisely patterned nanostructures (<200 nm) that are largely free of foreign contaminants, thermal impact and sub-surface structural changes.

  • Patent number: 11829031
Abstract: A multilayer light diffuser plate and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The multilayer light diffusion plate comprises a main layer and a partially-transmissive and partially-reflective layer located under the main layer. The top surface of the main layer is the light-emitting surface, and the light-incident surface is the bottom surface of the partially-transmissive and partially-reflective layer. The partially-transmissive and partially-reflective layer comprises a plurality of first base material layers and a plurality of second base material layers stacked alternately. The materials of the first and second base material layers have different refractive indices. The partially-transmissive and partially-reflective layer formed by alternately stacking the first and second base material layers with different refractive indices is arranged on the light-incident surface of the light diffuser plate by means of extrusion, which is simpler and less expensive to manufacture.

  • Patent number: 11829024
Abstract: An optical stack for reflecting and transmitting light in a predetermined wavelength range includes stacked first and second optical films, the predetermined wavelength range defining a first wavelength range and a remaining wavelength range. For normally incident light and for each wavelength in a first wavelength range, the first optical film substantially reflects light having a first polarization state, and substantially transmits light having a second polarization state. For each of the first and second polarization states, for wavelengths in the first wavelength range, the second optical film has a maximum optical transmittance Tmax for light incident at a first incident angle, and an optical transmittance Tmax/2 for light incident at a second incident angle, where the second incident angle is greater than the first incident angle by less than about 50 degrees. For wavelengths in the remaining wavelength range, the second optical film reflects at least 80% of light.

  • Patent number: 11788716
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying a municipal fixture to affix endpoint devices, provide a power to such devices, and managing network traffic between and among such devices, including managing upstream transmission and efficiently propagating desired state changes through the network. The systems and methods described herein generally use a plurality of mesh radio transmitters which are configured for peer-to-peer data exchange to propagate system state changes to one or more uplink gateways. The gateways may then aggregate this data and transmit it over a wide area network to a server or server farm for processing, analysis, and other use. That data may also be viewed in real time by user devices, and instructions and commands may also be relayed to the individual IoT devices in the mesh network via such user devices.
