  • Patent number: 11757546
Abstract: A method with which the reception sensitivity of a communication device can be measured accurately and with satisfactory reproducibility and a method with which the effect of noise control performed upon a communication device can be accurately evaluated. A first communication device in a nonreflective environment in an anechoic chamber wirelessly receives a test signal transmitted from a pseudo base station through an attached antenna thereof at the same time when a second communication device near the first communication device receives the test signal through a signal line. The first communication device is simultaneously subjected to the interference of noise generated by the second communication device at the attached antenna. Thus, the noise is made to interfere with the attached antenna of the first communication device without disassembling the first communication device and moving the first communication device in the nonreflective environment.

  • Patent number: 11757783
Abstract: When congestion occurs, the ENUM/DNS server can identify a priority packet without relaying on origin terminal information. An ENUM/DNS packet priority control system 100 includes a call control server 10 that, upon receiving a connection request from a terminal, determines whether or not the connection request is to be subjected to priority processing based on predetermined determination logic, and generates an ENUM/DNS packet that has a priority flag upon determining that the connection request is to be subjected to priority processing. The ENUM/DNS packet priority control system 100 also includes an ENUM/DNS server 20 that, upon receiving an ENUM/DNS packet that has the priority flag, determines that the packet is to be subjected to priority processing, and transmits, to the call control server 10, connection destination information that corresponds to the call destination terminal.

  • Patent number: 11751101
Abstract: Devices, methods, user equipment (UE), network core devices, gateway devices, evolved node B (eNB), and storage media for UE provisioning are described. In one embodiment, a UE is configured for codec bitrate adaptation via an interface configured to receive a bandwidth indication and a codec awareness indication from an eNB. The UE process the bandwidth indication and identifies, based on the codec awareness indication, a first codec from a plurality of codecs supported by the UE. The UE then configures with the eNB using data encoded with the first codec. This data may, for example, be Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) data or other such media data. Selection of the codec or associated codec information may be further based on the codec awareness indication.

  • Patent number: 11751086
Abstract: Uplink clear channel assessment (CCA) status is disclosed as a new uplink control message for new radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) operations. When an opportunity for potential uplink transmissions arises for a user equipment (UE), the UE will perform a CCA procedure on available uplink resources. The UE reports the results of the CCA procedure to a serving base station via an uplink control message, such as an uplink control information (UCI), physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), or the like. The serving base station may then use the CCA results in scheduling uplink transmissions and reserving uplink resources.

  • Patent number: 11750556
Abstract: A wireless device requests a network slice from a network by, first, identifying at least one network slice to be requested. Based on a mapping method that is specific to the wireless device, the wireless device forms a slice pseudonym for the or each network slice to be requested. The wireless device then transmits a request message to the network, wherein the request message comprises the or each slice pseudonym. The network node receives the request message sent by the wireless device, wherein the request message comprises at least one slice pseudonym. Based on a mapping method that is used by the wireless device and that is specific to the wireless device, the network node identifies at least one requested network slice from the or each received slice pseudonym. The network node then permits use of the requested network slice.
