Abstract: A computer-implemented method for implementing a demand response (DR) event includes receiving a demand request (DR) signal for the DR event, determining a vehicle specific incentive price range for each vehicle of a group of vehicles, and selecting vehicles from the group of vehicles to form a subgroup of vehicles. The subgroup of vehicles maximize a number of vehicles participating in the DR event and maximize a profit of each vehicle in the subgroup of vehicles based on the vehicle specific incentive price range for each vehicle in the group of vehicles, subject to the DR incentive amount. The DR signal is transmitted to each vehicle in the subgroup of vehicles.
Abstract: A method is performed by a computing device. A request is sent comprising request data, the request data comprising one or more identifiers. Payload data is received, where the payload data includes advertising creative retrieval data and application retrieval data for downloading one or more application installation files for an application, where the advertising creative is associated with the application. The advertising creative is downloaded. If the application is not installed on the computing device, the one or more application installation files are downloaded. An advertising creative display opportunity is generated. The advertising creative is displayed in the advertising creative display opportunity. If a user interaction with the advertising creative is detected and the application is not installed on the computing device, the application is installed from the downloaded one or more application files.

The system determines viewability scores for each field based on the time at which at least a threshold percentage or ratio of the field's pixels where viewable and not off-screen or obscured by another open window. The system then selects digital ads to serve to each field based on the field's viewability score.
Abstract: A simulated ad placement bid request supply side platform. The platform comprises a processor, a memory, and a test mobile ad placement bid request generator application stored in the memory. When executed by the processor the application builds a plurality of mobile ad placement bid requests, where each mobile ad placement bid request comprises a test parameter value that indicates the bid request is a test bid request, transmits the plurality of mobile ad placement bid requests built by the test mobile ad placement bid request generator application to the bidding platform, receives winning mobile ad placement bids associated with the mobile ad placement bid requests sent by the test mobile ad placement bid request generator application, and analyzes the winning mobile ad placement bids received by the test mobile ad placement bid request generator application to determine test metrics.

Abstract: The method and system disclosed herein enables non-spamming dissemination of environment and proximity aware information and advertisements to a user of a mobile device. The method disclosed herein provides a client application on the mobile device. The client application detects the presence of base station sensor devices in proximity to the user. Service offerings information of vendors is then transferred to the client application. The client application categorizes the service offerings information into multiple categories. The client application communicates with the base station sensor devices to receive business information and advertisements of the vendors based on categories selected by the user. Environmental sensors capture environmental data of a region surrounding the base station sensor devices. The business information and advertisements are correlated with the environmental data and local time data. The correlated information and advertisements are then transferred to the client application.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to system architecture of a measurement platform configured to determine advertisement awareness by consumers and methods for determining advertisement awareness by consumers at low cost. The system architecture is flexible and may be applied to any advertisement and is configured to operate without involvement or approval of the advertiser. The system uses user recognition rather than user recall as an indication of measuring awareness within a publisher's website, by tracking advertisement exposure to consumers and dynamically constructing sample interrogation sets to query consumers.
Abstract: Advertisement is a multi-billion dollar business in US (per year). Here, we use license plate frames for the advertisement. One example of the application describes a license-plate-frame-based advertisement verification system. In order to validate and verify the correct placement/mounting of a license plate frame advertisement at a given location over time, it is necessary to validate that both (a) the ad is correctly placed on the vehicle, and (b) to verify that the ad is at a given location at that time. The method required to verify these includes some control systems and components. Different variations and examples are also presented here.
Abstract: A method includes determining a plurality of harvest content items. The harvest content items are ranked based on a performance metric. Matching criterion aspects of the harvest content items are determined. Aspects of a candidate content item are compared with the plurality of harvest content items according to the matching criterion aspects. A subset of the harvest content items that are similar to the candidate content item is determined. A transformation for the candidate content item is selected and applied to the candidate content item to generate a transformed content item.
