Abstract: A shallow draft sampling raft including a bow, and a stern, in which the bow is an opposite end of the raft from the stern. The raft also includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of longitudinal stringers. The plurality of longitudinal stringers are attached to an inner face the bottom surface and run from the bow to the stern. A top surface is also attached to the longitudinal stringers.
Abstract: A floating lift system capable of fully integrating into an existing floating or fixed dock or into a floating or fixed dock currently in construction that allows users to employ a plurality of utilitarian uses, thereby providing for enhanced user experience. The floating lift system includes an elevator deck comprising of a parent floating dock adapter and a lift deck extender; a lift deck; and an air control system. The floating lift system allows for the raising and lowering of load into and out of water.
Abstract: A harness system includes a spreader bar having first and second elongate end portions at its respective ends. A curved support member is interconnected to the spreader bar by way of a plurality of straps. The straps include first and second adjustment straps connected to the first elongate end portion and to the curved support member. The first and second adjustment straps are arranged at a non-parallel angle to one another. Fixed straps may be located on a side opposite the adjustment straps. The arrangement and configuration of the spreader bar, curved support member, and adjustment straps provides an improved adjustable harness.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cleat cover that is designed to prevent unauthorized use. The cover has a dome shaped body with an interior cavity interior configured to cover and removable attach to the cleat.
Abstract: Systems and processes for recovering a condensate from a conduit. In one embodiment, the system can include a floating buoy that can include a fluid swivel assembly coupled thereto. The system can also include a floating conduit, a first gas transfer conduit, and a second gas transfer conduit that can be configured to transfer a gas discharged from a vessel storage tank to a pipeline end manifold located at a subsea location. The system can also include a first condensation conduit, a pump, and a second condensation conduit that can be configured to transfer at least a portion of any condensate that accumulates within an internal volume of the floating conduit at a low point between the vessel storage tank and the first gas transfer conduit into a flow path defined by a first swivel section of the fluid swivel assembly, a storage tank, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A system and method of configuration including a trim tab having a planar surface, and guiding tabs coupled to the trim tab. The guiding tabs extend outward. A pair of mounting brackets, with a mounting plate, a vertical leg, and a safety catch tab are included. The mounting brackets are configurable for variable mounting. The vertical leg of the mounting bracket includes an upper portion bottom portion, the vertical leg bottom portion is vertical, and the upper portion is configurable to be angulated relative to a transom. The upper portion and mounting bracket have an angle between, which may be adjusted relative to a curvature in the transom. The guiding tabs configured to engage with the vertical legs of the mounting bracket, wherein the trim tabs are located forward of the vertical legs of the mounting brackets.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for controlling a hydrofoil board powered by a motor driven propeller. The motor is controlled by a hand controller configured with user selectable operating pre-sets including a first operating pre-set, wherein the board is accelerated to a first speed which is less than that required for the board to hydrofoil, and a second operating pre-set, wherein the board is accelerated to a second speed sufficient for the board to hydrofoil. Alternatively, the operating pre-sets may limit the motor power. A system for operating a hydrofoil board is also disclosed, which includes a propulsion control unit comprising a propulsion source, and a hand controller configured to receive a first user input and a second user input and to transmit the user inputs to the propulsion control unit.

Abstract: A floating platform is attached to another object. The object may be fixed to the earth or it may be a floating object such as a floating dock or a vessel. The floating platform is held in horizontal position relative to the object to which it is attached, but vertical movement of the floating platform relative to the object is permitted. The object is connected to the floating platform by devices that have blades extending from. Each blade slidably engages a bracket, with the slidable blade permitting horizontal adjustment of the distance of the floating platform from the object during installation of the floating platform. Guide posts or piles slidably engage pile guides mounted to the object, permitting the floating platform to move vertically relative to the object, but fixing the floating platform's horizontal position relative to the object.

Abstract: A personal flotation system provides a horseshoe shaped float that is buoyant and can be used in a number or positions to float a person on the water and retain a beverage. The horseshoe shaped flotation device has a left and right armrest that extend out from an arced shaped closed end and dual cup holder, on the extended end of the armrest, has an cup cylinder to retain a beverage in the vertical orientation and an end cup holder to retain a beverage in an orthogonal orientation to the cup cylinder. The flotation device may have an extending strap that couples the left and right armrests together to secure the horseshoe shaped float around a person's torso.

Abstract: Underwater navigational systems and methods utilizing sunlight polarized via scattering through the water column that does not require an underwater vehicle to surface or use a global position system to maintain precise navigational positions and headings. These navigational systems and methods may be employed by manned or unmanned underwater vehicles and may be utilized by individual units and by units operating in a swarm.
