Abstract: In a method for filling a bottle, a balloon body extends through an axial through bore of a cap and is connected seal-tightly with an upper circumferential rim to the cap above a radial opening of the cap. An elongate support associated with the balloon body is connected to the cap. Balloon and elongate support are inserted into the bottle. The cap is positioned at a spacing above the bottle neck to form a ring-shaped intermediate gap. Air contained in the bottle interior is forced out through the intermediate gap by inflating the balloon body with an expansion medium. Subsequently, the cap is fluid-tightly fitted on the bottle neck. The expansion medium is allowed to escape from the balloon body and liquid is supplied through radial and axial openings of the cap into the space between outer surface of the balloon body and inner bottle wall.
Abstract: A spinal stabilization system may be formed in a patient. In some embodiments, a minimally invasive procedure may be used to form a spinal stabilization system in a patient. Bone fastener assemblies may be coupled to vertebrae. Each bone fastener assembly may include a bone fastener and a collar. Extenders may be coupled to the collar to allow for formation of the spinal stabilization system through a small skin incision. The extenders may allow for alignment of the collars to facilitate insertion of an elongated member in the collars. An elongated member may be positioned in the collars and a closure member may be used to secure the elongated member to the collars. An adjuster may be used in conjunction with the extenders to change a separation distance between the bone fastener assemblies.
Abstract: For a managed network implementing at least one logical router having centralized and distributed components, some embodiments provide a method that better supports the provision of certain network applications and/or services. The method receives at a host implementing (1) a distributed logical router and (2) a plurality of logical switches of a logical network along with other hosts, a message from a first data compute node (DCN) executing on the host. The host logically forwards the message to the distributed logical router that uses a particular anycast internet protocol (IP) address using a first media access control (MAC) address. The distributed router determines that the message requires processing by a centralized logical router (e.g., a service router, edge node, etc.) executing on an edge node host and forwards the message to the centralized logical router using the same anycast IP address and a second, unique MAC address.
Abstract: A device and method for docking a vial with a container adapter is disclosed. An adapter may be used to establish fluid communication between the vial and a container. The adapter may be positioned within an aperture in a platform of the device. A notch may be placed adjacent to the first aperture so that the vial and adapter may be removed horizontally from the device. A cavity may be positioned below the first aperture to accept at least a portion of a container which may be in fluid communication with the adapter. The platform may be removable, contain multiple apertures, or may be configured to receive various adapter types.
Abstract: A convertible shoe may include a sole and a plurality of interchangeable heel portions, each selectively attachable to the sole. The heel portions may each include a mounting surface configured to interface with a heel receiver of the sole. The heel receiver may include a fixed hook and a movable hook, with the movable hook being operable by an actuator coupled to a bottom surface of the sole.
Abstract: The invention relates to an elongate guide element (22) for guiding an implant (1) along a tunnel (17) in a bone (12, 14) and for securing the implant within the tunnel. One exemplary guide element comprises: first end and second ends (24, 26); a pair of support apertures (42) for receiving a support element (3) for the implant, the support apertures being spaced apart in a direction along a main longitudinal axis (28); a saddle (46) extending transverse to the longitudinal axis, one of the pair of support apertures being disposed between the saddle and the first end and the other between the saddle and the second end. The support element extends through one of the pair of support apertures, at least partly around the saddle and then through the other aperture. The guide element has a generally planar bone facing surface (48) and a second opposite surface (50).

The drive may include a drive crank operably coupled to the crop material separating member, a shaft operably coupled to the drive crank, a belt drive, a driven pulley, a belt wrapped about the belt drive and the driven pulley and a gear reduction mechanism operably coupled between the driven pulley and the shaft.
Abstract: Embodiments include techniques for automatically restarting a voltage foldback circuit, the techniques include operating a circuit, and detecting a condition of the circuit. The techniques also include performing a foldback operation based at least in part on the condition of the circuit, subsequently detecting the condition of the circuit. The techniques include initiating a timer of the circuit based at least in part on the subsequent detection of the circuit, and returning the circuit to normal operation based on the timer.
Abstract: The present surface mount technology non-reciprocal circuit element (1) includes a ferromagnetic material (14) placed above a circuit board (11), and a conductor cover (13). The conductor cover (13) is composed of a main unit (12) located above the ferromagnetic material (14) and connecting members (17_1, 17_2, 17_3) for electrically connecting the main unit (12) with transmission lines (18_1, 18_2, 18_3) on the circuit board (11), respectively. The ferromagnetic material (14) and at least one of the connecting members (17_1, 17_2, 17_3) are formed so as to create, in at least one of gaps between the side surface of the ferromagnetic material (14) and each of the connecting members (17_1, 17_2, 17_3), a location where a clearance between a side surface of the ferromagnetic material (14) and the connecting member is a first clearance and a location where it is a second clearance different from the first clearance.
