Abstract: Multi-reactor systems with aromatization reactor vessels containing a catalyst with low surface area and pore volume, followed in series by aromatization reactor vessels containing a catalyst with high surface area and pore volume, are disclosed. Related reforming methods using the different aromatization catalysts also are described.

Abstract: The method of this invention provides a simple and inexpensive method for manufacturing self-sealing pneumatic rubber tires of the tubeless type having a higher degree of uniformity than can be made utilizing conventional manufacturing procedures that are currently being practiced. In the practice of this invention a low viscosity sealant formulation, which would ordinarily be difficult to handle and build into an uncured tire, is encapsulated in a stiff rubber formulation. This makes it relatively easy to build the sealant layer into the tire since the low viscosity sealant formulation is contained with the more rigid solid material. The low viscosity sealant material requires little and preferably no depolymerization to act effectively as a sealant. Accordingly, it does not need to be depolymerized with a peroxide which causes off-gassing and the resultant tire uniformity and balance issues normally associated with polymer break down.

The presently disclosed flame retardants are useful, for example, in polymer compositions, particularly thermoplastics processed at high temperatures, over a wide range of applications.

The method further comprises substituting residues in the Fc domain with residues associated with low viscosity and adding charged residues to the C-terminus of the Fc domain. The present invention further concerns antigen binding proteins produced by this method.

Abstract: A single-column semi-submersible platform for fixed anchoring in deep water. The semi-submersible platform comprises a lower solid ballast module, a middle seawater ballast module and a top buoyancy module. The three modules are arranged telescopically in an axial direction and can be controlled relative to each other in the axial direction such that the semi-submersible platform may float vertically and steadily in a body of water. Draught for the seawater ballast module and buoyancy module is provided by seawater ballasting. The axial position of the solid ballast module relative to the seawater ballast module is controlled by seawater being pumped in and out of a closed annulus formed between the solid ballast module and the seawater ballast module.

Abstract: A system including an image acquisition unit in optical communication with a flow pathway. The system may include at least one illumination source directable toward a shale shaker. The illumination source may emit a light output. A band-stop filter may be affixed to the image acquisition unit to filter out infrared light. The band-stop filter may also allow electromagnetic radiation of the light output to reach the image acquisition unit. An analysis device may be used to determine a volume of downhole particles on the shale shaker using deflections of the light output observed by the image acquisition unit.

Abstract: A stitching roller is provided for stitching a strip, in particular a continuous strip for strip-winding. The stitching roller includes a roller body that is rotatable about a roller axis. The roller body comprises a circumferential member and a support member provided with a connection end that is connected to the circumferential member and a base end for coupling of the stitching roller to a rotation shaft. The support member is made of a flexible material that allows for the circumferential member to tilt relative to the base end from a neutral orientation into a tilted orientation. Abstract: When being connected to a macro cell (S-MeNB) and a small cell (SeNB), a user equipment device performs a pre-handover process of disconnecting the connection with the SeNB before a handover process of switching a macro cell connected with the UE from the macro cell (S-MeNB) that is a moving source to a macro cell (T-MeNB) that is a moving destination along with moving of the UE, and after the handover process, performs a post-handover process of reestablishing the connection with the SeNB.
Abstract: The invention includes methods for forming a retreaded tire and treads there for. Particular embodiments of such methods include providing a tire carcass configured to receive a tire tread along an annular tread-receiving area and a pre-formed tread comprising a tread body and a submerged void arranged along a bottom side of the tread and extending into the tread thickness to a top end located below the top side of the tread, the submerged void having a length and an opening arranged along the bottom side when the tread is in an uninstalled configuration, where the opening of the submerged void extends in a direction of the submerged groove length along an alternating, non-linear path. Further steps include assembling a retreaded tire by arranging the tire tread atop a bonding layer arranged between the tire tread and the tire carcass and comprising uncured bonding material.

Abstract: In an electric drive system in which a battery is not connected to a DC bus, even when a load on a traveling electric motor increases suddenly, it is made possible to avoid such a situation that the DC bus voltage drops to a level equal to or lower than an operating voltage of an inverter and the inverter stops working. To this end, a DC bus voltage drop prevention device controls such that, when the voltage of the DC bus drops below a first threshold value, the output torque of the traveling electric motor is decreased according to an amount of decrease in the voltage of the DC bus, and when the voltage of the DC bus drops below a second threshold voltage lower than the first threshold voltage, the output torque of the traveling electric motor is decreased to zero or a value within a range of magnitude with which a work vehicle stays stationary on a level ground.
