Abstract: A pet litter tray enabling easy access, organization, and cleaning comprising a tray and an interchangeable divider. The tray comprising a base, a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a back wall, a front wall, a pair of receptacles, and a lip. The first sidewall, the second sidewall, the back wall, and the front wall extending upwardly from the base, defining an interior compartment. The interior compartment comprising a food area and a waste area. The pair of receptacles extending inwardly from the first and second sidewall, configured to slidably receive the interchangeable divider. The interchangeable divider comprising a flat planar body including a top end, a bottom end, a front surface, a back surface, a panel side wall, and one or more holes extending entirely through the front surface to the back surface. The interchangeable divider defines the waste area and the food area when attached to the tray.

Abstract: Embodiments for crop-specific automated irrigation of an environmental medium and management of nutrients therein. In one aspect, operation of an irrigation apparatus can be regulated according to specific water demand of a crop. The water demand can be assessed by evaluating water content conditions of the environmental medium comprising the crop, medium characteristics, and/or nutrient delivery and transport characteristics at the medium. Regulation of operation of the irrigation apparatus can comprise control of one or more of water supply to the apparatus, positioning and/or movement of the irrigation apparatus, or configuration of sensing devices for collection of information suitable for such regulation.

Abstract: A lidded feed cover for facilitating filling of a feeder for mid to small size animals includes a feeder having bottom wall, a top wall, and a peripheral wall extending between the bottom wall and the top wall to define an interior space. The top wall is angled relative to the bottom wall such that the top wall is not parallel to the bottom wall and extends upwardly from a front side of the feeder to a rear side of the feeder. The peripheral wall has a feed opening. A fill opening is positioned in the top wall. A perimeter flange extends upwardly from the top wall around the fill opening. A lid is engageable to the feeder covering the fill opening.

Abstract: In general, one aspect disclosed features an anchoring system for anchoring an at least partially floorless mobile livestock enclosure to the ground. The anchoring system comprising: a securing flange configured to mechanically couple the anchoring system to the enclosure; an anchor; and a drive configured to place the anchor into contact with the ground, and to retract the anchor from contact with the ground.

Abstract: A pet enclosure includes a housing. The housing includes an housing space configured for accommodating a pet. The housing includes a frame assembly, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The first side panel and the second side panel are arranged at both sides of the frame assembly respectively. The two side panels are arranged adjacent to each other and are connected together, so as to form the housing space. The frame assembly includes a bottom panel. The first side panel is arranged at an inclined angle relative to the bottom panel, and/or the second side panel is arranged at an inclined angle relative to the bottom panel. The first side panel is provided with a first transparent viewing area, and the second side panel is provided with a second transparent viewing area. The two viewing areas are configured for viewing the pet inside the housing space.

Abstract: An adjustable pet harness is provided, which includes an abdominal pad; one end of the abdominal pad is provided with a first woven belt with an insertion buckle, the other end of the abdominal pad is provided with a second woven belt with an embedding buckle, a top of a back pad is connected to a fourth woven belt with a sleeve buckle; which significantly enhances wearing convenience and abandon a traditional head fitting manner, a new mode of wearing from the neck is achieved by setting embedding buckle and sleeve buckle on one side of the neck. For pets with sensitive or injured heads, the discomfort and resistance caused by the fitting are avoided, rendering it easier and simpler for owners to operate, the chest, back, and neck can be fully opened, which can quickly release the chest and back constraints in emergency situations.

Abstract: A dispensing device includes a container, wherein a bottom surface of the container includes a container opening to the interior storage; first and second sliding members that engage with the first and second tracks, respectively; a bowl support connected to the first and second sliding members, and wherein the bowl support is configured to move between a filling position and a serving position; and an actuator including a body including a first end and a second end. When the first end is in a first position, the bowl support is in the filling position. When the first end is in a second position, the bowl support is in the serving position.

Abstract: An arm sleeve designed to protect the user's hands and arms while interacting with a pet animal. A chew toy character is integrated into the distal end of the arm sleeve, allowing the user to articulate the mouth of the character with their fingers. The arm sleeve comprises a plurality of protective layers. The innermost layer surrounds the user's hand and arm. A mesh fabric surrounds the innermost layer, designed to protect the user's hand and arm from the pet's teeth and claws. A soft foam layer surrounds the mesh fabric, designed to protect the pet animal from injuring their teeth and claws on the mesh material. Lastly, the outer layer surrounds the soft foam layer. The outer layer preferably matches the plushy material of the chew toy character. A method of making the arm sleeve includes a cotton lining that can be interchangeable with the soft foam layer.

Abstract: A temperature-controlled bowl for pets and others includes a housing assembly, a cooling system, and a control system. The housing assembly, which includes multiple chambers, supports a bowl insert in its first chamber, which can be cooled or heated through thermal coupling with a thermoelectric module of the cooling system. When energized, the thermoelectric module absorbs heat on its cooling side and radiates heat on its opposite side. The cooling system further includes a conductive block, a heat sink, and a fan, most of which are isolated in a second chamber of the housing that includes a plurality of exhaust vents. A third chamber draws air into it and the fan of cooling system through a plurality of intake vents. Additional optional features include sensors to monitor the temperature of the bowl insert, feet and anti-slip components, timers, and other features for controlling the operation of the bowl.

Abstract: A bath rack includes a rack body, a bathtub disposed on the rack body which is capable of supporting the bathtub to a predetermined height; and a foldable ladder pivotally installed on the rack body, so that a pet is allowed to enter and exit the bathtub at a high position through the foldable ladder by itself, so as to facilitate the user to clean the pet with a relatively large size by the bath rack.

Abstract: A pet washing station includes a basin and an overhead structure having a first side wall, a second side wall, a back wall, and a hood structure that houses a drying subsystem. The drying subsystem includes an air blower with an electric motor and a fan, an air-duct pathway, a control system, and a power supply. The air-duct pathway has an inlet at a first end and an outlet at a second end; the outlet couples to a first through-hole in the first side wall and the inlet couples to a second through-hole in the second side wall. A power switch switchably connects the electric motor to the power supply; when switched on, the electric motor drives the fan to draw air in through the inlet and blow air out through the outlet.

Abstract: A wildlife exclusion system for railway tracks is provided which includes an exclusion arrangement positioned to span across the railway tracks at a location along a length of the railway tracks. The exclusion arrangement extends generally perpendicular to the railway tracks and has a series of conductive elements spaced apart from each other to form an exclusion are configured to provide an electric shock to wild animals when particular conductive elements within the exclusion area are bridged thereby. Methods of installing a wildlife exclusion system and methods of discouraging wild animals from traveling along railway tracks are also provided.

Abstract: A pot (1) for use in growing plants comprises a base (2), an annular wall (3) extending from the base (2) to a rim (4), a drain (5) being defined substantially in the centre of the base (2), an injector (6) in the wall (3) for injecting fluid into the pot (1), wherein the injector (6) is located in the wall (3) proximate to the base (2) and distant to the rim (4) and aligned with a plane tangential to the wall (3), the injector (6) comprising a venturi and an air inlet. The pot (1) forms part of a recirculating deep water culture (RDWC) hydroponic system.

Abstract: Masks and goggles having lens that block blue light from the eyes of animals to provide for better rest and to increase their melatonin levels are disclosed. Methods of using the blue light blocking masks and goggles to block blue light and even longer wavelengths of light are also disclosed.

Abstract: An insect culture maintenance system includes a vial cap having a top wall and a side wall extending about the top wall that is configured to engage an open end of a vial such that the vial cap is supported on the vial. The side wall of the vial cap defines a tunnel that extends through the side wall. The tunnel is sealed by the vial or by a cap valve supported within the vial cap when the maintenance system is in a first state, and the tunnel is accessible when the maintenance system is in a second state. The vial cap includes a connector that can be coupled to the connector of a second vial cap to couple the first and second vial caps and first and second vials together to allow insects to move from a first vial to a second vial when the tunnels are accessible.

Abstract: A livestock feeder includes a hopper, a feed pan, and a door. The hopper includes an inlet and an outlet. The feed pan is coupled to the hopper and includes a first edge and an opposite second edge. The first edge is disposed to receive feed dispensed from the outlet. The door is suspended over the feed pan. The door has a proximal portion and a distal portion. The proximal portion is pivotably coupled to the hopper to facilitate the rotation of the door about an axis disposed over the feed pan, to facilitate the transition of the door between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position the distal end of the first door extends over the second edge of the feed pan. The axis is parallel to and spaced apart from a vertical plane passing through the second edge of the feed pan.

A pillow is moveable relative to the top portion to expose a sleeping region for a pet, the pillow positionable relative to the top portion to expand the sleeping region. One or more pockets is defined within the top portion or the bottom portion, one or more pockets configured to house a protective cover, the protective cover configured to enwrap the pet bed for transportation. A carrying strap is operably coupled to the top portion or the bottom portion and is configured to facilitate carrying the pet bed.

Abstract: A plant cultivation apparatus has a lighting module that is provided above a bed in a cabinet, and the lighting module includes a light source part including a plurality of light sources, a lighting case in which the light source part is provided, and a lighting cover coupled to the lighting case and covering the light source part. The lighting module is removably mounted to the cabinet in a removable manner.

Abstract: A system and method for deterring animals, such as pets, from entering, getting onto, or being in certain defined zones/locations created by a user. The pet monitoring system includes a smart collar configured to communicate with a plurality of powered transceivers/transmitters, particularly Bluetooth transmitters and transceivers. Each of the transceivers or transmitters has a unique ID associated with it. The smart collar, a smartphone or other wireless communicating device can read and record the signal strength of each of the transmitters at various locations and use that information to create prohibited zones that can be downloaded onto the smart collar. The smart collar can also contain a stimulus emitter for providing a warning to the animal and a communication device configured to alert the owner.

Abstract: A zone expander system which may be used to increase the number of zones by apportioning a parameter allotted for one zone into multiple sub-parameters for multiple new zones. The parameter may be the duration of time which the zone is active.
