Abstract: An adjustable pet harness is provided, which includes an abdominal pad; one end of the abdominal pad is provided with a first woven belt with an insertion buckle, the other end of the abdominal pad is provided with a second woven belt with an embedding buckle, a top of a back pad is connected to a fourth woven belt with a sleeve buckle; which significantly enhances wearing convenience and abandon a traditional head fitting manner, a new mode of wearing from the neck is achieved by setting embedding buckle and sleeve buckle on one side of the neck. For pets with sensitive or injured heads, the discomfort and resistance caused by the fitting are avoided, rendering it easier and simpler for owners to operate, the chest, back, and neck can be fully opened, which can quickly release the chest and back constraints in emergency situations.

Abstract: A dispensing device includes a container, wherein a bottom surface of the container includes a container opening to the interior storage; first and second sliding members that engage with the first and second tracks, respectively; a bowl support connected to the first and second sliding members, and wherein the bowl support is configured to move between a filling position and a serving position; and an actuator including a body including a first end and a second end. When the first end is in a first position, the bowl support is in the filling position. When the first end is in a second position, the bowl support is in the serving position.

Abstract: An arm sleeve designed to protect the user's hands and arms while interacting with a pet animal. A chew toy character is integrated into the distal end of the arm sleeve, allowing the user to articulate the mouth of the character with their fingers. The arm sleeve comprises a plurality of protective layers. The innermost layer surrounds the user's hand and arm. A mesh fabric surrounds the innermost layer, designed to protect the user's hand and arm from the pet's teeth and claws. A soft foam layer surrounds the mesh fabric, designed to protect the pet animal from injuring their teeth and claws on the mesh material. Lastly, the outer layer surrounds the soft foam layer. The outer layer preferably matches the plushy material of the chew toy character. A method of making the arm sleeve includes a cotton lining that can be interchangeable with the soft foam layer.

Abstract: A temperature-controlled bowl for pets and others includes a housing assembly, a cooling system, and a control system. The housing assembly, which includes multiple chambers, supports a bowl insert in its first chamber, which can be cooled or heated through thermal coupling with a thermoelectric module of the cooling system. When energized, the thermoelectric module absorbs heat on its cooling side and radiates heat on its opposite side. The cooling system further includes a conductive block, a heat sink, and a fan, most of which are isolated in a second chamber of the housing that includes a plurality of exhaust vents. A third chamber draws air into it and the fan of cooling system through a plurality of intake vents. Additional optional features include sensors to monitor the temperature of the bowl insert, feet and anti-slip components, timers, and other features for controlling the operation of the bowl.

Abstract: A bath rack includes a rack body, a bathtub disposed on the rack body which is capable of supporting the bathtub to a predetermined height; and a foldable ladder pivotally installed on the rack body, so that a pet is allowed to enter and exit the bathtub at a high position through the foldable ladder by itself, so as to facilitate the user to clean the pet with a relatively large size by the bath rack.

Abstract: A pet washing station includes a basin and an overhead structure having a first side wall, a second side wall, a back wall, and a hood structure that houses a drying subsystem. The drying subsystem includes an air blower with an electric motor and a fan, an air-duct pathway, a control system, and a power supply. The air-duct pathway has an inlet at a first end and an outlet at a second end; the outlet couples to a first through-hole in the first side wall and the inlet couples to a second through-hole in the second side wall. A power switch switchably connects the electric motor to the power supply; when switched on, the electric motor drives the fan to draw air in through the inlet and blow air out through the outlet.

Abstract: A wildlife exclusion system for railway tracks is provided which includes an exclusion arrangement positioned to span across the railway tracks at a location along a length of the railway tracks. The exclusion arrangement extends generally perpendicular to the railway tracks and has a series of conductive elements spaced apart from each other to form an exclusion are configured to provide an electric shock to wild animals when particular conductive elements within the exclusion area are bridged thereby. Methods of installing a wildlife exclusion system and methods of discouraging wild animals from traveling along railway tracks are also provided.

Abstract: A pot (1) for use in growing plants comprises a base (2), an annular wall (3) extending from the base (2) to a rim (4), a drain (5) being defined substantially in the centre of the base (2), an injector (6) in the wall (3) for injecting fluid into the pot (1), wherein the injector (6) is located in the wall (3) proximate to the base (2) and distant to the rim (4) and aligned with a plane tangential to the wall (3), the injector (6) comprising a venturi and an air inlet. The pot (1) forms part of a recirculating deep water culture (RDWC) hydroponic system.

Abstract: Masks and goggles having lens that block blue light from the eyes of animals to provide for better rest and to increase their melatonin levels are disclosed. Methods of using the blue light blocking masks and goggles to block blue light and even longer wavelengths of light are also disclosed.

Abstract: An insect culture maintenance system includes a vial cap having a top wall and a side wall extending about the top wall that is configured to engage an open end of a vial such that the vial cap is supported on the vial. The side wall of the vial cap defines a tunnel that extends through the side wall. The tunnel is sealed by the vial or by a cap valve supported within the vial cap when the maintenance system is in a first state, and the tunnel is accessible when the maintenance system is in a second state. The vial cap includes a connector that can be coupled to the connector of a second vial cap to couple the first and second vial caps and first and second vials together to allow insects to move from a first vial to a second vial when the tunnels are accessible.

Abstract: A livestock feeder includes a hopper, a feed pan, and a door. The hopper includes an inlet and an outlet. The feed pan is coupled to the hopper and includes a first edge and an opposite second edge. The first edge is disposed to receive feed dispensed from the outlet. The door is suspended over the feed pan. The door has a proximal portion and a distal portion. The proximal portion is pivotably coupled to the hopper to facilitate the rotation of the door about an axis disposed over the feed pan, to facilitate the transition of the door between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position the distal end of the first door extends over the second edge of the feed pan. The axis is parallel to and spaced apart from a vertical plane passing through the second edge of the feed pan.

Abstract: A system and method for deterring animals, such as pets, from entering, getting onto, or being in certain defined zones/locations created by a user. The pet monitoring system includes a smart collar configured to communicate with a plurality of powered transceivers/transmitters, particularly Bluetooth transmitters and transceivers. Each of the transceivers or transmitters has a unique ID associated with it. The smart collar, a smartphone or other wireless communicating device can read and record the signal strength of each of the transmitters at various locations and use that information to create prohibited zones that can be downloaded onto the smart collar. The smart collar can also contain a stimulus emitter for providing a warning to the animal and a communication device configured to alert the owner.

Abstract: Provided are a test apparatus for dust-exposing breath of animals and a test method thereof. The test apparatus includes a constant temperature and humidity test box internally provided with a test chamber and provided with a dust inlet connected to a dust conveying device. The test chamber separated into a cleaning area and an activity area, and a blowing device is arranged in the cleaning area. The test method includes following steps: step S1: a test animal is placed in the activity area; step S2: dust is introduced and the blowing device is turned on; step S3: a temperature and a humidity are adjusted; step S4: the test animal is taken out to weigh and step S5: steps S1 to S4 are repeated, blood of the test animal is drawn after days for biochemical index assay, and a test cycle is completed.

Abstract: A separator device is provided for sifting soiled animal bedding including a separator frame having a stand and at least one wheel. The stand engages and disengages with a floor to move from a stationary position to an ambulatory position. The separator device includes a flexible member and a screen attached to the flexible member for supporting the soiled animal bedding. An actuator is attached to the screen and applies an oscillatory force to the screen. The oscillatory force causes the screen to oscillate to sift soiled animal bedding as the animal bedding is moved along the separator frame. Reusable animal bedding material falls through the screen while clumped animal manure moves toward the front of the separator frame. A container supported by the separator frame collects clumped animal manure falling off of the front edge of the screen.

Abstract: This deconstructable plant pot overcomes the problems with soil and root disruption during transplanting. At its simplest, the pot has three parts: two curved sidewalls and a base. The sidewalls can be attached and detached from each other. The sidewalls are connected by sliding them together along their vertical edges. When they are attached they form a hollow body, which can be attached and detached from the base by twisting the base on and off the lower portion of the hollow body.
