Abstract: An enclosed litter box is provided that includes a housing sized and shaped for an animal and litter tray. The apparatus includes a self-closing door that impedes airflow between the interior and exterior of the housing and can be utilized by an animal as an entrance and exit to the housing. The apparatus further includes a recirculation ventilation system that includes a fan to draw air from the interior of the housing through a filter and then circulate the filtered air back into the interior of the housing. This filter is configured to remove odor from the air.

Abstract: In general, one aspect disclosed features an anchoring system for anchoring an at least partially floorless mobile livestock enclosure to the ground. The anchoring system comprising: a securing flange configured to mechanically couple the anchoring system to the enclosure; an anchor; and a drive configured to place the anchor into contact with the ground, and to retract the anchor from contact with the ground.

Abstract: A kitty water potty training apparatus includes a base configured to be supported on a ground surface, a plurality of exterior platform members removably engaged with an exterior surface of the base, a plurality of interior platform members removably engaged with an interior surface of the base and terminated beneath the exterior platform members, respectively, a large reservoir configured to receive and contain cat litter and is removably nested within the base, and a small reservoir assembly configured to receive and contain both cat litter and water therein and is removably nested within the base. At least two portions of the small reservoir assembly are selectively interchanged from the base. The small reservoir assembly and the large reservoir are configured to simultaneously contain cat litter while the small reservoir assembly also contains water.

Abstract: A disposable kitty litter box is provided. The disposable kitty litter box includes a base portion and a plurality of layer portions each including a plurality of apertures. In an assembled configuration, the plurality of apertures of each layer portion of the plurality of layer portions are offset from each other to keep kitty litter from passing between a plurality of apertures of a top layer portion.

Abstract: A portable pop-up pet pen compacts into four corner post members for travel or storage. Each corner post member contains a base rail, top rail, and mesh wall portion. To open the pet pen, the base rails are pulled out and down, and each is connected to the base of another of the corner post members. The upper rails and web walls are then pulled up from the base rails, and are attached to the other corner post members. A top frame may support a roof or fly. The compacted posts can fit into a bag or case for storage. Two sets of four corner posts can be used to build a double-size pet pen.

Abstract: The invention is a dispensing module for use in delivering measured doses of feed supplement to an animal. It comprises a storage container for holding the supplement and a metering module that is rotatably connected to the storage container for dispensing a measured (pre-determined) dose of the supplement. The dispensing module is adapted to be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the open configuration, the measured dose of the supplement is able to be dispensed out of the dispensing module. In the closed configuration, the measured dose of the supplement is prevented from being dispensed out of the dispensing module. Compressed air can be used to send the dose to an outlet when the dispensing module is closed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing poultry, in particular chicken, the method comprising; a) incubating a batch of eggs in an incubating device during a first incubating period of between about 7 to about 11 days, and then, b) maintaining an egg in a predetermined sampling position during a settling time for allowing allantoic fluid to surface, c) determining a location of entry based on one or more egg parameters.

Abstract: An animal food and water bowl system for effectively dispensing food and water to an animal such as a pet. The animal food and water bowl system generally includes a platform having a support member and at least one leg extending downwardly from the support member. The support member includes an upper surface and a recessed portion within the upper surface that removably receives a lower surface of bowl. A first connector is adapted for removably connecting the first bowl to the upper surface of the support member in a substantially non-movable manner. At least a portion of the front upper edge of the bowl is below the rear upper edge of the bowl.

Abstract: An object supplying assembly includes a storage tank having first and second spaces communicating with each other, a rotating member disposed in the second space and including a recess, a driving module, and a partition board including a partition opening misaligned with the first space. An object can enter the recess from the first space. The rotating member rotates, the object is brought by the rotating member and turns around with the recess. When the recess is aligned with a position of the partition opening, the object is allowed to drop and pass through the partition opening. An object casting assembly includes a housing, an impeller rotatably disposed within the housing and including a plurality of blades, and a driver. Accommodating portions are formed among the blades. When the impeller is driven by the driver and rotates, the accommodating portions face a casting opening of the housing by turns.

Abstract: A wildlife exclusion system for railway tracks is provided which includes an exclusion arrangement positioned to span across the railway tracks at a location along a length of the railway tracks. The exclusion arrangement extends generally perpendicular to the railway tracks and has a series of conductive elements spaced apart from each other to form an exclusion are configured to provide an electric shock to wild animals when particular conductive elements within the exclusion area are bridged thereby. Methods of installing a wildlife exclusion system and methods of discouraging wild animals from traveling along railway tracks are also provided.

Abstract: A pet bathing enclosure including a water manifold assembly, a shower system assembly, a spray system assembly, and an enclosure assembly is disclosed. These assemblies in conjunction with one another provide a simple solution to bathing a user's pet. The water manifold assembly includes a hose intake and serves as a mounting point for the control knobs of the spray system and shower system. The shower system includes a hose with shower head that can be held in a user's hand to direct water flow to desired locations. The spray assembly includes interconnected water flow lines with water output spouts lining the water flow lines. Thereby spraying the pet with water while in the enclosure assembly. The spray assembly is mounted to the inner perimeter of the enclosure assembly. The enclosure assembly includes drainage along the bottom edge to allow for excess water to drain out while bathing the pet.

Abstract: A livestock container has a plurality of levels and compartments formed by a plurality of convertible platforms and compartment gates. In some embodiments, the convertible platforms are bi-fold platforms hingedly mounted to sidewalls of the container and moveable between deployed and stored positions. When in the stored positions, the convertible platforms extend minimally from the sidewall, eliminating or reducing obstacles to movement of livestock or humans. The convertible platforms are configured to rest on upper edges of corresponding compartment gates below, and the container may be free of any central post, thereby eliminating obstacles caused thereby to movement of livestock or humans. The sidewalls and floor may be formed of hollow-core extruded aluminum panels, and longitudinal channels formed therein may house pipes or electrical wires for conducting water or electricity to ventilation fans, lights, or misters, or for storing water.

Abstract: A pet feeding apparatus includes a feed tank, a discharge tank, and an ejection assembly. The feed tank includes an accommodation chamber and a discharge outlet communicating with the accommodation chamber. The discharge tank includes an ejection outlet, an inlet, and an ejection chamber located between the ejection outlet and the inlet. The inlet communicates with the discharge outlet of the feed tank. The ejection assembly includes a rotation blade and a driving member. The rotation blade is received in the ejection chamber, and the rotation blade includes a rotation shaft and a blade extending from the rotation shaft. The driving member is connected to the rotation shaft and is capable of driving the rotation shaft to rotate with respect to the ejection chamber, so that the driving member drives the blade to swing from the inlet toward the ejection outlet.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel and improved animal sprayer for use in cooling livestock and other animals in different hot or dry environments, and methods of using the same. Embodiments of the novel animal sprayers may include a valve which does not require constant electric current to remain open during a spraying session, extending system battery life. The valves may also be self-cleaning, less likely to leak, and easily adjusted to control flow rate, reducing both water use and labor costs in monitoring and repairing the animal sprayer.

Abstract: An automatic feeding device includes an accommodating container, a transmission channel, a valve unit, a sensor and an ejection unit. The transmission channel is disposed on bottom of the accommodating container. The transmission channel has an inlet portion, a central portion and an outlet portion. The central portion is between the inlet portion and the outlet portion. The valve unit is disposed on the bottom of the accommodating container and adjacent to the inlet portion. The valve unit is switchable to allow feed inside the accommodating container for passing the inlet portion and entering the transmission channel. The sensor is disposed on the inlet portion and detects whether the feed passes the inlet portion, and further outputs a control command to switch modes of the valve unit. The ejection unit is disposed on the central portion and used to push the feed inside the transmission channel toward the outlet portion.

Abstract: Provided herein are mechanisms and methods for the automated distribution of active ingredients (whether oral or contact based) to wild and domestic animal populations as well as a method for monitoring animal activity and estimating consumption and/or application of such ingredients within the population through the utilization of the mechanisms themselves. The inventive device pertains to a manner of delivering either an active oral ingredient or active contact ingredient within a bait pellet or like substrate for ingestion or external contact and/or coating of a target population. The device allows for controlled access of such a bait pellet (or like substrate) for such a target population coupled with the ability to retain freshness thereof for multiple timed access events without the need for human involvement. A properly sized, configured, and automated delivery device is thus provided to meet these needs. Delivery components are also encompassed herein.

Abstract: A feed container for storing hardened livestock feed is disclosed. The feed container has a storage area defined by a bottom wall and a sidewall for retaining animal feed within the storage area when the feed is in a solid phase and the feed container is in a non-upward resting position or is on its sidewall. Also disclosed is a method for utilizing a feed container, having said storage area for retaining animal feed within the storage area when the feed is in a solid phase and the feed container is in a non-upward resting position or is on its sidewall.

Abstract: A plant cover apparatus includes a bag having an interior encompassed by a wall that extends from a top end of the bag and tapers inwardly to a bottom end of the bag. The bottom end includes a rim that laterally circumscribes a plant-receiving opening formed through the bag. The bag has a slot that extends vertically from the opening through the wall. The slot includes opposed margins having cooperatively interlocking parts that can temporarily be joined and separated to increase the size of the opening. The bag may be vertically suspended from a support member positioned next to the plant. An exterior perimeter of the bag may be rigid enough to help the bag maintain its shape when suspended.

Abstract: A pet feeder for automatic and timely provision of food to household pets includes a housing containing one or more types of pet food. The pet feeder includes a feeding tray operably coupled to a base, the feeding tray defines at least one pet food feeding zone located outside the housing; and a food tank positioned in the housing, the food tank defines a plurality of food compartments. At least one rotary valve is disposed at the bottom of the food tank; and a first electric actuator is mounted on the housing and engaged to the rotary valve, the first electric actuator drives the rotary valve to open only one food compartment at a time, to allow food of the only one food compartment to unload downwardly to the feeding tray. A food pusher can move the pet food into the feeding tray accessible to a pet.

A mold for preparing the paw cleaning cup includes an inner mold core, an outer mold core, an upper mold and a lower mold. The outer mold core has an annular peripheral wall. A first soft spike hole is formed inside the peripheral wall. The inner mold core is provided at the inner side of the outer mold core.
