Abstract: In a system and method for verifying the accurate processing of medical insurance claim data by one or more health insurance companies, a healthcare provider enters claim data into a provider terminal. The provider terminal transmits the claim data to an insurance claim processor that processes claims for payment on behalf of one or more health insurance companies. Upon receipt of the processed claim data from the insurance claim processor, the provider terminal compares the processed claim data with the claim data originally submitted to the insurance claim processor and generates comparison data indicating whether the original claim data has been processed in accordance with predetermined claim processing rules. The health care provider terminal may also generate and retransmit revised claim data when the processed claim data has not been processed in accordance with the predetermined processing rules or within a defined period of time.

Abstract: A medical report creating apparatus in which a link corresponding range is specified for any of strings arranged in an observation column in a medical report display screen. Then, a drag operation is input which specifies any of contents being displayed on a monitor. When a dragged display icon is dropped onto a link corresponding range displayed portion of a medical report creation screen to specify the string, address information on the content is acquired. The address information on the referenced content is then pasted to the string. At the same time, the string in the link corresponding range has its color changed and is underlined for identification. After the report has been completed, a file is saved and the series of operations are finished. Then, the file is transferred to, for example, an image interpretation report requester.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for developing and conducting a nutritional treatment program. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to methods for developing and conducting a nutritional treatment program to promote weight loss, or to treat or prevent other disease states, such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, etc. For example, such methods are employed to develop a diet program, and more particularly to methods for developing a program for both dieting and maintaining good nutrition both before and after losing weight. In another embodiment, the present invention relates to personalized nutritional treatment programs that are computer implemented and dynamic based on a subject's changing health condition.
