  • Patent number: 10081334
Abstract: A method and system for unlocking a reserved vehicle designed to encode an access code assigned by a remote server to a Morse code or pattern by a control box or a head unit provided in the reserved vehicle. The Morse code or pattern is generated in a form of a sound signal or a light signal with use of a vehicle horn or headlight. The Morse code or pattern in sound or light is detected by a pre-existing mobile device, typically, a smartphone of a user without requiring any specific access card or reader. The detected Morse code or pattern is decoded back to the access code or converted an FFT signal by the mobile device and is sent to the server for verification. When successfully verified, the server sends an unlock command to the reserved vehicle so that the user can gain access to the reserved vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10055733
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards methods and systems for ensuring integrity of biometric data for one or more transactions. A mobile biometric device may acquire biometric information of an individual. A ranging module of a transaction device may determine that a distance between the mobile biometric device and a physical location of a first transaction with the individual is within a predefined value. The transaction device may link, responsive to the determination, the acquired biometric information to the first transaction if the biometric information is acquired within a specific time limit from the distance determination. The transaction device may link the acquired biometric information to a universal biometric record of the individual. A biometric integrity engine may compare information from the first transaction and a second transaction for inconsistency or fraud.

  • Patent number: 10019612
Abstract: A system and method to detect an event associated with a first object relative to a second object and a support is provided. The system can include an antenna at a support to receive the first object, a tag reader in communication with the antenna and a tag located on the second object. In response to detecting a change in impedance of the antenna associated with the presence of the first object, the tag reader communicates a presence signal. In response to detecting the tag within a threshold proximity of the tag reader, the tag reader generates a tag signal. A remoter server is operable to detect an association of the first and second objects based on a comparison a time associated with each of the tag signal and the presence signal, and in response then creates an output indicative of a detected event based on the association for illustration.
