  • Patent number: 10389915
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a memory and an estimation unit. The memory stores a color conversion model representing relations between plural colorimetric values obtained by performing, in plural color measurement directions, a color measurement of plural images formed on a first sheet using plural coloring materials including a luster coloring material, and coloring-material amounts used for the images for which the color measurement is performed and the color measurement directions for which the colorimetric values are obtained. The estimation unit estimates, on the basis of a colorimetric value, of a measurement target image formed on a second sheet of a type different from a type of the first sheet, obtained in a single direction and on the basis of the color conversion model, a colorimetric value, of the measurement target image, obtained in a case of performing a color measurement in a direction other than the single direction.

The optical system includes a plurality of optical components for splitting the light reflected from the object to be read, and guiding the split light to each of the plurality of light receiving elements. The plurality of optical components include a splitting component that splits the light reflected from the object to be read in a direction corresponding to a main direction, and a common component provided with a common portion. The common portion has an optically acting area causing a common effect on the tight split by the splitting component. A cross sectional shape of the optically acting area orthogonal to a direction corresponding to the main direction is the same shape along the direction corresponding to the main direction.

  • Patent number: 10367957
Abstract: A method of providing native scalable management of a fleet of managed devices, which includes establishing a Trust Community, which includes a sub-set of the managed devices, organizing the Trust Community, configuring one of the managed devices in the organized Trust Community as a Root Device to publish files via a file sharing function, adding the Root Device to a distribution profile stored in a database, creating or downloading files via the Root Device, and sharing the files with other devices in the organized Trust Community via the Root Device. Any devices on hold or offline are placed in a temporary working area for reorganizing. Download and install schedules are set up on a per device or a bulk basis according to policies. Files are placed into a staging area before re-distribution and checked for security, integrity, and/or completeness via checksums, digitally signed certificates, and/or internal structure checks.

  • Patent number: 10366086
Abstract: A method for sorting a group of managed devices includes querying a database of managed device with a sort query, such as an SQL query. The sort query captures an initial adjacency list in which managed devices are ordered, based on their respective parent device. Each of the managed devices is associated with a set of attributes. The initial adjacency list is sorted, e.g., using a depth-first search, based on at least one sorting criterion to generate a sorted adjacency list in which managed devices having a common parent device are reordered, based on respective attributes. The sorted adjacency list can be represented as a sorted directed graph, such as a directed tree. Modifications can be made to the sorted directed graph. A visualization of the sorted and optionally modified directed graph is output and/or a file is distributed to at least some of the managed devices, based thereon.

  • Patent number: 10324673
Abstract: Methods and systems for arranging shapes within a document prior to printing cut-out patterns are described. A printing device may identify and group contents in a page of a print job as shapes to be cut out from the paper after they are printed. The printing device may then detect the grouped page contents as cut-out patterns. For each cut-out pattern, the printing device may detect the white spaces of content of the cut-out pattern and mark them as available for printing other cut-out patterns. Thus, the printing device may print multiple cut-out patterns on a same page based on using the white space within larger cut-out patterns.
