  • Patent number: 10872303
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a confidential data architecture is extended by providing components for reliably inferring confidential data insights (e.g., median salary) for cohorts with little or no actual submitted confidential data. This is performed by inferring confidential data values based on organizations that are considered to be peers to the organization of interest. This solution involves two parts: the generation of a novel, semantic representation (embedding) of organizations to be used to compute a similarity measure between any two organizations, and the use of the semantic representation to compute a peer organization group of a given company.

  • Patent number: 10846639
Abstract: A system includes one or more server hardware computing devices communicatively coupled to a network. The one or more server hardware computing devices include one or more processors and memory storing specific computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to receive a first request to calculate a trust score for a user associated with a user account of an online proctored examination platform. The trust score represents results of a risk analysis of the user. The instructions cause the system to obtain internal data of the online proctored examination platform, the internal data describing usage of the online proctored examination platform by the user, perform the risk analysis using at least the internal data to produce the trust score, associate the trust score with the user account, and perform an action based on the trust score.

  • Patent number: 10817814
Abstract: A system and method for coordinating parking enforcement officer patrol in real time with the aid of a digital computer is provided. A time-based active representational model of the city is created by fusing sensory data collected from various sources around a city with numerical data gleaned from historical and ongoing activities, including parking regulation citation and warning numbers, resource allocations, and so on. The model can be used to form quantitative predictions of expected violations, revenue stream, and so forth, that can then be used as recommendations as to where to enforce and when, so as to maximize the utilization of the limited resources represented by the officers on the street. Moreover, the performance of the officers can be weighed against expectations of performance postulated from the quantitative predictions.

  • Patent number: 10776839
Abstract: A method, system, and computer readable medium for automatically generating a job quotation based on a photo image of a completed jobsite. The photo image is analyzed by an online financial application to identify material items used in the completed jobsite. Associated supplemental material items and installation labor hour information are then looked up from a community data repository where other business users have previously contributed relevant information. Accordingly, a quotation to install a jobsite using the material items found in the completed jobsite is generated based on the photo image and information retrieved from the community data repository.

  • Patent number: 10776803
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with generating a price schedule are described. An inventory quantity for the item is allocated amongst a plurality of customer segments based on a predicted contribution of each customer segment to the objective function. For each customer segment, based on a quantity of inventory allocated to the customer segment, a promotion portion of the price schedule is determined that maximizes the objective function. Remaining inventory allocated to the plurality of customer segments at the end of the regular season is aggregated. Based on the aggregated inventory, a markdown portion of the price schedule for the item is determined that maximizes the objective function. The promotion portion and the markdown portion are combined to create a price schedule for the item. In one embodiment, a price schedule may be generated that includes promotions on top of markdown prices during the clearance season.

  • Patent number: 10769651
Abstract: The disclosure relates generally to estimating lifetime values, and more particularly to estimating Prospect Lifetime Values (PLTVs) for prospective customers for an organization. In one example, for estimating PLTV for a prospective customer, a distance of the prospective customer from each of existing customers of the organization is computed using existing customer data and prospective customer data. The existing customer data includes at least one of existing customer demographic variables and existing customer profile variables. Further, the prospective customer data includes at least one of prospective customer demographic variables and prospective customer profile variables. Subsequently, for the prospective customer, a pre-defined number of existing customers are determined from amongst the plurality of existing customers based on the distance. Thereafter, PLTV for the prospective customer is estimated using an average of Customer Lifetime Values (CLTVs) for the determined existing customers.

  • Patent number: 10719803
Abstract: A historical scenario and historical decisions made in the historical scenario are received. The historical decisions represent a set of decision variables of an objective function. A random set of decision variables having different values than the set of decision variables are generated. To determine a weight setting associated with multiple objectives of the objective function, a number of inequalities are built and solved with an assumption that, for an optimization that minimizes the objective function, the objective function having the set of random decision variables has a larger value than the objective function having the set of decision variables. The receiving, the generating and the building steps may be repeated to determine multiple sets of weight settings. The multiple sets of weight settings are searched to select a target weight setting for each of the multiple objectives. The target weight setting may be automatically and continuously learned.

  • Patent number: 10699231
Abstract: A graphical workflow definition and management tool enables administrators and other authorized users to implement a workflow process that can be used to evaluate project submissions or other applications that require step-by-step process completion. The steps required to navigate through the workflow are first defined. Inputs, outputs, and actions, including conditional criteria, can be specified for the steps. The flow of control between the individual steps in the workflow is mapped out; changes to the status of a project submission can cause a submission to migrate to a succeeding step in the workflow. A “sandbox” testing environment allows changes to any aspect of the workflow to be safely evaluated without affecting live data. Conflicts between production and test workflows are identified and intelligently resolved.
