Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a product recommendation system for automatically extracting ingredient-related attributes for a product based on the product's ingredients in order to generate product recommendations for a user. The systems and methods may use a model to determine the attributes from the product ingredients. The primary input into the model may include a product ingredient list, and optionally a product title. The model may identify product attributes, such as target skin types and concerns, for a product based on the product's ingredients. The product recommendation system may then match these attributes with user preferences and then generate product recommendations tailored to match the user's preferences based on the matching.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, by one or more electronic sign labels (ESLs) in a shopping store, radio signals transmitted from a device associated with a customer in the shopping store over a period of time. The method may include determining a location of the customer based on locations of the ESLs in the shopping store that received the radio signal from the device. The method may also include generating a heatmap that includes the location of the customer over the period of time.

Abstract: Computer implemented methods and systems are provided. Such systems and methods include inputting at least a portion of received user data indicative of at least a plurality of unique face and/or skin characteristics into a trained artificial intelligence module. The trained artificial intelligence module is trained using historical data inputs that are associated with known face and/or skin characteristics. Execution of the trained artificial intelligence module may identify the plurality of unique face and/or skin characteristics from the user data and cosmetic and/or skincare products contained in a database. At least one personalized recommendation may then be generated based on the plurality of unique face and/or skin characteristics identified by the trained artificial intelligence module. The at least one personalized recommendation may be for one of the cosmetic and/or skincare products contained in the database and include associated usage guidelines.

Abstract: Proposed is a method for product recommendation by a server. The method may include receiving a gift recommendation request from a first user terminal for a second user, checking available basic information of the second user, and determining a first recommendation information based on the basic information, wherein the first recommendation information comprises a first recommendation reason and at least one product related to the first recommendation reason. The method may also include determining a second recommendation information not based on the basic information, wherein the second recommendation information comprises a second recommendation reason and at least one product related to the second recommendation reason. The method may further include providing recommendation information comprising the first and second recommendation information to the first user terminal. The first recommendation information may be prioritized for display over the second recommendation information.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for supporting online shopping. The apparatus comprises an identification unit configured to identify an online price tag of a specific product embedded into a webpage of an exhibitor, an update unit configured to update a selling price exposed to the online price tag according to a result of a reverse auction between sellers for a selling price of the specific product, and a processing unit configured to, when a purchase intent of a purchaser accessing the webpage of the exhibitor is identified from the online price tag, process a procedure of purchasing the specific product based on the updated selling price.

Abstract: A system for recommending products, wherein the system is configured to train a machine learning model to predict a seed product for a user from a product database, predict the seed product for the user using the machine learning model, and encode an image of the seed product into a vector representation of the seed product. The system is further configured to receive information indicative of the user's product preferences, modify the vector representation of the seed product based on the user's product preferences, and search vector representations of products to find a vector representation that is the closest match. The system may further output, based on the results of the search, a recommended product from the product database corresponding to the closest match vector, to the user.

Abstract: An online concierge system generates a plurality of bundles based in part on a seed list of contexts by generating one or more prompts that are provided to a machine learned model, where for a first context of the seed list of contexts, a prompt instructs the machine learned model to determine: a first bundle for the given context, where the first bundle includes a list of products, a title, and an explanation. The plurality of bundles is stored in a datastore. The system selects, for a customer, the first bundle from the plurality of bundles in the datastore, and generates a list of items from an online catalog that corresponds to the list of products of the first bundle. The system provides the list of items, the title, and the explanation for presentation to a customer client device of the customer.

Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, and computer readable storage media described herein provide techniques for generating recommendations utilizing a heterogeneous distance function. In an aspect, a measure of relevancy between a first data item and a second data item is received. A setting of an adjustable parameter of a parameterized heterogeneous distance function is determined based on the measure of relevancy. The parameterized heterogeneous distance function comprises first and second sub-functions. The first sub-function calculates a distance between data items based on features of a first data type and the second sub-function calculates a distance between data items based on features of a second, different, data type. A recommendation system is caused to utilize the parameterized heterogeneous distance function to generate a recommendation based on received input. In a further aspect, the measure of relevancy is determined as a function of a measure of interactions and a measure of impressions.

The one or more memory devices are configured to store instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to associate an identifier of a respective player assigned to a golf cart with the golf cart, monitor at least one of locations of the golf cart about a golf course or purchases made on the golf course associated with the identifier, and update a player profile for the respective player based on the identifier and the at least one of the locations of the golf cart or the purchases.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an information processing method and apparatus, and a device, the method includes: sending an information request to a platform side at a preset time interval if it is determined that a merchant platform application has been logged in; receiving a system message sent by the platform side in response to the information request in real time, where the system message is sent by a service side to the platform side in real time; and displaying the system message and/or prompt information of the system message on the merchant platform application. This embodiment does not require the merchant to obtain a new system message by refreshing a page, avoiding a repeated refresh operation by the merchant and avoiding the merchant missing an important notification due to not being able to obtain the system message in time.

In response to acceptance of the offer, the method includes transferring ownership of the asset to the consumer.

Abstract: A language model is utilized to generate a recommendation for a user of an online system to update a current order. The user is grouped into a cluster of users based on how likely is that the user will not use a credit before expiration. A prompt for input into the language model includes information about the cluster, content of a cart, and information about the credit. Based on the prompt, the language model generates a risk score for the user representing a likelihood of the user not using the credit. The online system identifies, based on the risk score and the content of cart, a quantity of an item for recommendation to the user. A user client device displays a user interface with a suggestion for the user to include the quantity of the item in the cart and use the credit for purchasing the suggested quantity of item.

Abstract: According to a present invention embodiment, a system for processing an order in a computerized environment identifies an item selected by a user in the computerized environment. The system determines that a provider of the item is unable to provide the item to a delivery location based on one or more conditions. A bidding session is conducted for a plurality of service providers to select one or more service providers with services enabling the item to be provided to the delivery location. A transaction for the item is performed to deliver the item to the delivery location via the provider of the item and the one or more service providers. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for processing an order in a computerized environment in substantially the same manner described above.
