Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronous content viewing are provided. In embodiments, a method includes providing an interface to a user of a remote user device; receiving a user selection of one or more contacts of the user as invitees to a synchronized session; providing content synchronously to the remote user device of the user and other remote user devices of the respective one or more contacts of the user based on receiving an acceptance from the one or more contacts of the user, wherein the user and the one or more contacts of the user view the content synchronously during the synchronized session; and providing functions of an application to the participants synchronously, wherein the functions enable the participants to interact with the content in real-time during the synchronized session, and wherein all participants view interactions with the content simultaneously.

Abstract: Artificial intelligence based systems and methods are described for analyzing pixel data of an image of a user's body for determining a hair density value of the user's hair. An example method includes aggregating a plurality of training images of a plurality of users' bodies, and training a hair density model operable to output a hair density value. The example method may further include receiving an image of a user comprising pixel data of a portion of the user's body or body area, and analyzing, by the hair density model, the image to determine a user-specific hair density value of the user's hair. The example method may further include generating a product recommendation, wherein the product is designed to address a feature identifiable within the pixel data of the user's body or body area.

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for identifying fraudulent transactions. The embodiments may employ machine learning processes to detect fraudulent activity. In some examples, a computing device determines customer data and device data for a customer and device involved in a transaction. The customer data may include previous transactions by the customer, and the device data may include previous transactions involving the device. The computing device generates features based on the customer data and the device data, and applies one or more machine learning models to the generated features to generate a trust score. The trust score is indicative of how likely a transaction is to be fraudulent. In some examples, the transaction is not allowed if the trust score is beyond a threshold. In some examples, the computing device trains the machine learning models based on customer data and device data for a plurality of customers and devices.

Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure, dynamic bundling mechanisms are provided. The dynamic bundling mechanisms may enable dynamic reconfiguration of a subscription bundle. The dynamic bundling mechanisms may include receiving a user request for generating a subscription bundle, identifying one or more first subscription services in view of the user request, generating the subscription bundle based on the one or more first subscription services, detecting interactions with the one or more first subscription service by the first user, receiving a user request for reconfiguring the subscription bundle, and reconfiguring the subscription bundle in view of at least first user's interaction with the first subscription services or the user request for reconfiguring the subscription bundle.

Abstract: The disclosed technology provides for determining infection in food items using image data of the food items under ultra-violet (UV) light. A method includes performing object detection on the image data to identify a bounding box around each of the food items in the image data, determining, for each food item, an infection presence metric by applying a model to the bounding box, the model being trained using image training data of other food items under UV light, the image training data being annotated based on previous identifications of a first portion of the other food items having infection features and a second portion having healthy quality features, and determining, based on a determination that the infection presence metric for each of the food items indicates presence of an infection, an infection coverage metric for the food item.

Abstract: The computing device obtains a training data set related to a plurality of historic user inputs associated with preferences of one or more services or items from an entity. For each of the one or more services or items, the computing device executes operations to train a plurality of models using the training data set to generate a plurality of recommended models, apply a validation data set to generate a plurality of predictions from the plurality of recommended models, obtain a weight of each metric of a plurality of metrics from the entity, obtain user inputs associated with user preferences, and determine a relevancy score for each metric. The computing device selects a recommended model based on the relevancy score of the selected metric or a combination of selected metrics, generates one or more recommendations for the users, and outputs the one or more generated recommendations to the users.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a merchant-customer engagement system include a physical merchant location in which a customer may be tracked to determine products within the physical merchant location that the customer is interested in. A merchant may use a wearable merchant device that is configured to identify the customer via a camera that captures an image of the customer, and that image may be used to retrieve customer account information for that customer. Using the customer account information and the products that the customer is showing interest in, the wearable merchant device may be used to display merchant-customer engagement information next to a view of the customer to allow the merchant to help the customer while utilizing a variety of displayed information about the customer including, for example, past purchases, products browsed in-store and previously browsed online, time spent in an area of the physical merchant location, etc.

The online concierge system identifies a group of orders authorizing flexible fulfillment having a minimum cost for fulfillment by a shopper, allowing for more allocation of shoppers by enabling grouping of orders identifying different discrete time intervals.

Abstract: A service provider system may implement an enterprise catalog service that manages software products and portfolios of software products on behalf of service provider customer organizations. A graph processing service of the enterprise catalog service may create a graph representation of the enterprise catalog service data, including principals, product listings, portfolios, and constraints (and the relationships between them) that may be used to manage access control, launch contexts, and searches within the enterprise catalog service. A primary (key-value) store may maintain an adjacency list and a secondary index of de-normalized edges. A secondary (document) store may maintain the de-normalized edges. In response to various queries directed to the graph processing service, the service may query the adjacency list or the secondary index. For example, one query may return a list of products that an end user can access, and another may return a count of products within a portfolio.

Abstract: Provided is a transportation service planning system including an operation unit and a storage unit. The storage unit stores an evaluation index designated for each of transportation systems, a creation condition of a service plan for each of the transportation systems, and a service simulation condition for each of the transportation systems. The operation unit creates a service plan for each of the transportation systems on the basis of the creation condition of the service plan, simulates a service of each of the transportation systems on the basis of the service plan and the simulation condition, calculates the evaluation index designated for each of the transportation systems on the basis of the simulation results, outputs the service plan if all of the evaluation indices satisfy a prescribed standard, and revises the service plan if at least one of the evaluation indices does not satisfy the prescribed standard.
