  • Patent number: 9780961
Abstract: A HEMS controller repeatedly transmits a predetermined signal to a control-target appliance at a set time interval in order to detect a change in a status of the control-target appliance. If the status changes, the HEMS controller notifies a smartphone of the changed status via a server apparatus. In a state where the time interval is set to a first time interval, when receiving a control instruction for controlling an operation of the control-target appliance from the smartphone via the server apparatus, the HEMS controller transmits the control instruction to the control-target appliance. In response to the transmission of the control instruction to the control-target appliance, the HEMS controller changes the time interval to a second time interval shorter than the first time interval.

  • Patent number: 9763237
Abstract: Provided are a communication device and an SRS transmission method capable of reducing the possibility of a difference in recognition between the presence or absence of an SRS transmission between a base station and a terminal or of an SRS resource so as to prevent degradation of system throughput. At a terminal (200), a reception processing unit (203) detects control information indicating whether or not to request transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), whereupon a transmission signal forming unit (207) transmits an A-SRS by way of control by a transmission control unit (206) on the basis of control information. The transmission control unit (206) determines whether or not to execute SRS transmission on the basis of an “SRS Transmission Execution Rule” and the reception status of trigger information.

  • Patent number: 9729444
Abstract: In one embodiment, forwarding information with respect to a particular data packet is requested from a distributed hash table (DHT) that stores key-network flow information pairs. A plurality of nodes in a network participate in the DHT, each node locally stores network flow information as dictated by a hashing function of the DHT, and the network flow information can be used to process data packets in the network. Then, forwarding information is received from the DHT indicating a destination node of the plurality of nodes to which the particular data packet should be forwarded according to the hashing function of the DHT. The destination node stores network flow information that corresponds to the particular data packet. Finally, the particular data packet is forwarded toward the destination node in order for the particular data packet to be processed using the network flow information stored at the destination node.

  • Patent number: 9658311
Abstract: Disclosed herein, one embodiment of the disclosure is directed to a system, apparatus, and method for location estimation in the presence of multipath/non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions. Various methods have been contemplated to detect the level of multipath/NLOS propagation between two devices. A SNR variation method determines how the SNR of each chain/stream is varying over a time window in order to detect the chain/stream with least local scattering or multipath. A measure of coherence SNR is defined to measure the level of multipath/NLOS per-chain/stream. Moreover, since per-subcarrier SNR information is available at the one or both nodes, the coherence methods can be used on a per-subcarrier basis to detect multipath/NLOS for the entire channel, for the specific spatial stream or for the specific frequencies occupied by the subcarriers. Furthermore, a coherence bandwidth estimation method uses the SNR variation over subcarriers to detect the coherence bandwidth of the spatial stream.

  • Patent number: 9654274
Abstract: Systems and methods for mitigating self-interference at a wireless device in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In one embodiment, a network node obtains one or more self-interference parameters for self-interference at the wireless device within a downlink frequency band utilized by the wireless device. In one embodiment, the one or more self-interference parameters include a frequency location of the self-interference, a strength of the self-interference, or both the frequency location and the strength of the self-interference. The network node then controls uplink transmission by the wireless device, downlink reception by the wireless device, and/or downlink transmission to the wireless device in such a manner that the self-interference at the wireless device is mitigated.
