When the load characteristics fulfil a triggering condition, the network node selects a second maximum number of RA preambles to be handled concurrently. The second maximum number is selected such that a probability value fulfils a threshold. The probability value is associated with a probability that RA preambles that are to be concurrently transmitted in the first cell will exceed the second maximum number of RA preambles.
